Our Mechanical Services include: • Hot Bolt Clamp Technology– Our patented and awardwinning Hot Bolt Clamp technology has revolutionized the integrity management of bolted connections. This innovative technology enables the safe removal and replacement of corroded bolts on live flanged connections with eight bolts or less, with no disruption to production. The system maintains a connection by allowing corroded or damaged studs to be replaced almost immediately. This can be undertaken with the pipeline remaining in service, which removes the requirement for shutdowns and the associated downtime, manpower and bed space requirements. • Leak Testing /Hydro Testing • Habitat – Stork is the sole local authorized agent for Safehouse Habitats. Our pressurized enclosures mitigate risk by providing safe working environments for performing hot works during a live, hazardous area facility. • Piping (Cold-Cutting) • Drilling Support Services— For the past 20 years, we have provided a full range of mechanical services for the various drilling rigs used by clients. INNOVATIONS AT STORK iBolt Flange Management
A SafeHouse Habitat is a flexible, modular enclosure that provides a physical barrier between ignition sources (hot work) and any potential unplanned hydrocarbon release (oil/gas). It is provided to prevent fire/explosion in a potentially hazardous area during hot work. Habitats are slightly over-pressurized enclosures built around the welder to contain and isolate the ignition source from fuel sources. The use of this method has proven to be a costeffective solution to mitigate risk and remain compliant. Hot Bolt Clamp
Stork has developed an on-line flange management database that allows all works undertaken on bolted connections to be tracked, including: • • • • • •

By replicating the clamping forces induced by the existing bolts in a controlled way, bolts can be replaced without taking the system out of operation. Stork’s Hot Bolt Camp application has a 100% safety record on over 3000 flanges worldwide. Sometimes whole campaigns are held (> 550 flanges), while in other cases, just hot bolting a much smaller number can already help avoid plant shutdown.
