Welcome! Dear Theatregoers, It is always a pleasure to introduce you to a brand new season, and we have some fantastic treats in store for you over the coming months at St Helens Theatre Royal with returning favourites, as well as plenty of new additions. As ever we bring you wonderful family entertainment, laugh-outloud comedy, the biggest musical theatre shows, enchanting panto productions and the very best live music acts around. Highlights this year include a tale as old as time from Regal Entertainments with their Easter panto Beauty and the Beast, Strictly Come Dancing favourites Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe dazzle with their new tour Somewhere in Time, and all-round funny man Jimmy Carr is back with his Greatest Hits. This season is doubly special; all of your continued support from the ticket restoration levy allowed us to make improvements to the theatre, and earlier in the year we unveiled a brand new box office and ongoing work to the foyer which simply wouldn’t have been possible without your help – so from myself and everyone at the theatre a huge thank you! To show our appreciation we promise to continue going above and beyond to bring you world class live entertainment that is guaranteed to keep you coming back time and again. Best Wishes Chantelle Nolan

Child: £12.00
Family (2 Adults & 2 Children): £45:00 Following their recent successful productions of Addams Family, Acorn Antiques and, of course, last year’s sell-out production of Annie, P ilkington M usical Theatre Com pany are delighted to present Sister Act. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won’t be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. However Deloris wastes no time in using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir and breathe new life into the church and community. Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, hilarious comedy and a truly moving story, Sister Act will leave you shouting for more. So come along and join the fun as Deloris brings Disco to the Convent —it
would be a sin not to! This amateur production is presented by arrangement with JOSEF WEINBERGER LTD. On behalf of MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL of NEW YORK
