CMYK V始s RGB RGB stand for Red, Green and Blue. RGB is the method any lit screen uses to produce every single colour you see. Things such as cameras and scanners also work in RGB. But sending an RGB file to a printers will end up getting different colours than you initially set out to print. RGB refers to different colours of light, compared to CMYK which uses the colour Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black) is using colours of pigment. CMYK is called a 'subtractive' system and the colours combine and absorb light to create black. RGB is the opposite are made from different colours of light so know as 'additive'. They produce different range of colours, CMYK particularly has a limited range as we only have the 4 colours and everything else has to be mixed from those. RGB on the other hand only uses 3 colours so is also limited in that way but mixed in a 'additive' way you can produce a wider spectrum of colours. You change the from RGB to CMYK or visaversa on photoshop very quickly by simply going on the 'Image' bar then onto 'Mode' and you can choose either of the 2 colour modes.
