We created a unique and different brand image for Underfloor Heating & Cooling suppliers Timoleon.
The Brief.
Matt and his team have delivered a unique & fresh brand offering for Timoleon into what is a challenging and conservative marketplace, the construction industry. Although Matt’s previous experience did not lie in this industry he and his team have been able to adapt and understand quickly, successful delivering our objectives. Timoleon is a company with challenging growth targets, they require a brand that sets them apart but positions them correctly within the market. They need to appeal both directly and indirectly to all parties and stakeholders that are involved in providing, supplying, buying and assessing underfloor heating and cooling systems. They also need to establish trust within a potentially volatile market, one that is often conservative and weary of new ideas, marketing techniques and new companies.

Timoleon is an ambitious, newly formed company that specialise in the design, manufacture, service and supply of underfloor heating & surface cooling systems and renewables. They are a team of experienced industry professionals and engineers with proven backgrounds in underfloor heating & surface cooling. Timoleon was formed as a response to legislation requiring the UK to reach ambitious energy reduction targets by 2050 and to fill the market gap for a company that provide a bespoke, considered and well engineered solution. One that is tailored for the building using components and knowledge specifically geared towards delivering the correct heat output whilst also maximising the efficiency of the whole system. Timoleon products and services are aimed at architects, specifiers, installers, ambitious self builders and those interested in saving energy. Timoleon also has two sub brands, Tonos – an energy auditing and consultation service and Streamline – a servicing, commissioning and training service for installers.
In order to deliver on the brief, we had to get to know Timoleon as a business, spend time working with them and gain a comprehensive understanding of their proposed product offer, their ideal market, sales process and get inside the minds of their customers.
Our programme was actively measured against an ambitious Return on Investment objective, of which we have delivered with a 85% increase in sales with year on year increases of over 180%. Timoleon are now aggressively established within the marketplace and have attracted investment from Polypipe {a major supplier of plumbing & heating systems} to become their Indoor Environmental Systems Partner.
After a four week long research programme we were able to successfully clarify who Timoleon are and communicate these values through a defined visual and verbal identity. Further to this we then had the challenge of ensuring this identity was present in all of Timoleon’s communication, advising of the necessary media use, when and how to use it. From literature to packaging, digital media and office environments we actively helped Timoleon ensure that they presented themselves to an exceptional standard through all aspects of their communication.
