In our new 2015 collection triple 2 makes use of a Sympatex product which is eco friendly, bluesign certified and has a waterproof washing called Bionic Finish® Eco (DWR), without Fluorcarbone! And our products are produced 100% in Croatia under fair social conditions.

To be able to identify the function of our materials, we have created the icons on the right. These icons you will find beside each of our products. Explore the great functionality our products reveal!

At the beginning we biked with our cut-off jeans and tshirts. Out of one reason: We preferred the comfortable casual look. No bike wear existed at that time that combined super functionality with a casual look. It was time for a change. triple2 makes bike and outdoor sportswear that functions in the nature, as well as in the city. Our clothes are ecological, sustainable and are produced under fair conditions. All this combined in one product is a big challenge. With our products we save material and energy recourses. The advantage is that our products can be used in any situation as we combine functionality with a casual look. Our product will help you through your day – whilst cycling to work, mountain biking, climbing, hiking through the mountains – Our newly developed materials originate solely from sustainable sources. No matter if hemp fibres, Cocona®, organic cotton, recycled polyester or merino wool – triple2 is taking a new path.

1994. Three hungry mountain biker were looking for the perfect trail at Lake Garda. A drug that makes addictive and sounds so beautiful: Pra delle Noci â&#x20AC;&#x201C; 222. The number of this trail became the embodiment of triple2. Flow & Style meets Function & Sustainability.

ID 241513 Innovation begins there where others stop. Not with triple2. We have been researching and testing, until we found the right isolation for our new, super-light-weight-isolating jacket called: DUUN. We are moving beyond the well known recycled polyester and layed our focus on the in Germany produced lavalan®-sport isolation. It is made out of 88% sheep shearing wool, which is refined with a fine polyacid (PLA) fabric. PLA is gained from corn starch and gives the isolation the needed stability. Advantage: a 100% natural product, significantly better moisture absorption and a high wearing comfort – no matter if it is hot or cold. The next ski or winter-bike ride can come its way!

We are moving beyond the well known recycled polyester and layed our focus on the in Germany produced lavalan®-sport isolation. It is made out of 88% sheep shearing wool, which is refined with a fine polyacid (PLA) fabric. PLA is gained from corn starch and gives the isolation the needed stability. OuR Production

Our products are produced to 100% in Croatia. Some material parts we use come from different European countries. For example our isolation material that we use for our DUUN Jacket comes from Germany; the material for our SCHAAP and FLEEK Jackets comes from Italy. We profit a lot from our European production as they have a high know how in working with highly sensitive and highly technical products and secure the great quality of our products. Also being close to our production makes communication and schooling easy. Our transport distances are kept short through which we can save emission. We donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t only say we want to be a fair and eco company but also act this way â&#x20AC;&#x201C; we offer our customers to repair their clothes. In our crash replacement program we replace old products and use these for other materials. Not only the products we produce are made under responsible conditions but also our office falls under the eco spotlight. All our packaging and marketing material is made from recycled paper, our electricity is covered by renewable sources and whenever possible we use our bikes to get around. Our commitment does not stop when we step out of the office but goes beyond. We help nature wherever we can. We have decided to use part of our profits to actively protect the rain forests. In cooperation with Treems we will be buying trees at regular intervals, contributing to preserving the rain forests in Ecuador and Brazil. This way we are able to bind a lot of CO2 and at the same time offer the animal world and plants with rare species a secure home.

Dear animal lovers: this fire salamander had his picture taken while our triple 2 photo shooting 2013 in Trentino/ Italy. We did no touch, feed, nor move it around to get a picture. It was left absolutely in peace. Also the flash was turned off. We only took a quick shot of him and thought this picture was so great that we decided to place it here. Rock on salamander! 53

triple2 chooses with great care the materials they use for their products. Besides looking at the functionality of a material, we take a close look at ecological and social factors. This manifests itself in the choice of our production and suppliers. Below you can find an overview of the materials and certificates.

The COCONA® Patented Technology permanently incorporates natural active particles that have micro porous structures, into fibers, fabrics, polymers, and films. These active particles have been tested by industry standards and have been found to enhance the performance of fabrics by 30 to 50%. The benefit of Cocona® technology includes: increased breathability, evaporative Cooling, Dry Times, UV protection and Odour management. www.cocona.com

LAVALAN® Sport is a natural Isolation produced in Germany for the Outdoor sector, with a high performance and great washing character. 88% is made out of sheep virgin wool and 12% is made out of polyacid (PLA) which is gained out of industry corn. In comparison to a polyester isolation the natural isolation can pick up to 33% sweat, without feeling cold or wet. Furthermore this material is 100% recyclable without the need of any chemical means and is a 100% fast growing resource. www.lavalan.de

The SYMPATEX®-membrane is guaranteed green, in other words 100% recyclable like a PET bottle. The functional textile specialist has firmly established itself as the ecological alternative on the market and on top is bluesign certified, making it completely eco-friendly. triple2 only uses fabrics from Sympatex that are free from Fluorcarbon and have a waterproof treatment (Bionic Finish Eco). www.sympatex.com

MONOCEL® is an exclusive yarn made from a new, non-viscose bamboo fibre by nånkåtån. The fabrics are softer than cotton, stronger than cotton and are significantly more environmentally friendly. The Bamboo used is gathered out of FSC certified resources. The production process is transparent through the LCA control of intertek. Monocel is highly breathable, is fast drying, antibacterial and the softness implies the user comfort and a feeling of luxury. For exactly this reason triple2 uses this material for underwear. MAPP® Merino-wool originates from New Zealand and definitely belongs to the worlds leading wool when it comes to quality and performance. MAPP Merino is produced in free range farming systems, which are animal and environment friendly. This is controlled by different independent organisations. Recycled Polyester & Hemp Hemp has been used for 1000 of years in different fabrics.
