2019 Jr. Lifeguard Program

The Junior Lifeguard program was designed to train boys and girls, ages 12 to 17, in lifesaving water skills and to develop an awareness of beach hazards and ocean conditions. It includes an introduction to CPR, First Aid and rescue board techniques with an emphasis on ocean swimming, paddle boarding and lifesaving skills. Participants will become familiar with First Aid and CPR techniques, while improving their health and fitness. 15 Participants max per session. 35 Participants max in Hana. Students who are not a 2018 returnee or part of a swim team must perform and pass a swim assessment of 300 yards non-stop within 11 minutes. Compete in a challenging Ninja obstacle course to be crowned top Ninja of Maui! The obstacle course will test your ability to swing from bars and ropes, climb/jump/roll over obstacles, agility work and much more! Doris Todd Overnight Camp

Doris Todd Christian Academy will be hosting the 51st annual Maui Christian Youth Camp! This overnight camp includes games, crafts, activities, relatable chapel lessons, and team-building exercises in a Christ-honoring setting. Maui Surfer Girls Surf Camp

Maui Surfer Girls (“MSG”) is an overnight surf camp for teen girls. For 19 years, we’ve been empowering teen girls through the sport of surfing. It’s more than a surf camp, it’s a place where girls thrive and strive to be the best they can be both in and out of the waves. No surf experience is necessary. MSG provides oceanfront lodging, meals, equipment, surf coaching, afternoon Maui adventures, and more! Kama'aina rate is 10% off. Camp Imua

Every year in June, children ages 6–16 who have special needs are invited to experience a true overnight summer camp. Over 50 campers and 150 volunteers come together for a week of crafts, games, swimming, surfing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, dancing, concerts, outdoor movies, swimming, helicopter tours, talent show, luau, and more. This year Camp Imua will take place from June 9th -13th at Camp Keanae. Volunteers aged 16 and up needed. Please register by May 1st at Imuafamilyservices.org/camp.
