Akamai Kids Club Summer Program
Get ready! Get set! Let’s have a great summer! Located in N. Kīhei on a lush, beautiful 4-acre campus, two-day, three-day, and fiveday programs are available. Each week has new themes: Dinosaurs, Friendship, Butterflies and Bugs, Oceans, Outer Space, Science Fair, Transportation, and Community Helpers incorporating music/movement, social-emotional learning, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate daily lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for preschool and kindergarten children to stay engaged and learn over the summer! Small cohort size. Space is very limited.

Pono Outdoor Program
Pono Outdoor Program summer program embraces the outdoors with daily learning, loving, and coming in harmony around the island of Maui. We forage, we swim, we climb trees, we get dirt and we make forts wherever we go. We play naturalistic games and even make fires, and learn proper knife use to make tools and wands. Come join the Y for all your summer fun! Camps, classes, music, and more! Weekly summer camps begin June 5th - July 28th. Swimming, gymnastics, art, music, gardening, basketball, golf, jr. lifeguarding, crafts, and games await your keiki all summer long! And we now offer music classes in piano and 'ukulele for kids and adults as well! Plus, a new family community gardening program, and for teens a Games for Life series featuring D&D and other tabletop games. Prices vary, but with the YMCA's 'Open Door' assistance program, all can find a place to belong here at the Y.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui
Summer is the perfect time to become a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui. Our clubhouses across the island are open Monday to Friday all summer. Youth ages 9 to 17 (and as young as 6 in some Clubs) will enjoy activities like Summer Brain Gain and programs in core areas of character and leadership, academics, and healthy lifestyles. Membership is FREE for all Maui youth until July 1, 2023 and just $5 per youth/$10 per family thereafter.

Camp Imua
Camp Imua is for children ages 6-16 who have special needs. It takes place this year in Keanae in the first week of June. Activities include kayaking at Hana Bay, a taro patch visit and poi pounding, a talent show, horseback rides, arts and crafts, and much much more. High schoolers are encouraged to apply as counselors to earn 144 volunteer hours and develop leadership skills and enhance their compassion and cooperation. Maui OnStage Education & Youth Program
Youth Theater Camp 2023 - Students of all levels will explore elements of theater including vocalization, character development, music, movement, dance, and ensemble-building. Through theater exercises, students will build acting skills needed to create truthful characters. Each week will focus on a different theme and students will be working on short plays that will be performed for families each Friday evening. All sessions are held outdoors at the beautiful grounds of the IMUA Discovery Garden.

Teen Acting Workshop: Raise Your Voice 2023 - Finding your voice is an important aspect both on and off the stage. In this workshop, each student will find their voice and create a character all while raising their own voice to find out who they are as a performer and a person. This workshop hopes to build confidence that each student can take with them onto the stage and into their everyday lives. At the end of the two-week session, we will present a one-act play to be performed for family and friends at the Maui Onstage Youth Studio.

Vertical Sports Maui 2023
The biggest sports camp on the island! Sports include basketball, soccer, athletics, cheer, baseball, flag football, volleyball, hula, and a program for 4 and 5-year-olds. We will have 25 world-class coaches flying in from the mainland to direct each sport along with local volunteers. Seabury Hall
Summer at Seabury - Continuing our tradition of excellence, Summer at Seabury offers a variety of academic, athletic, and artistic opportunities for students entering grades 1–8 in fall 2023 who are seeking an enriching summer experience. Courses are taught by experienced teachers from Seabury Hall, other private and public schools, visiting artists, and community experts. Weekly football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball camps will also be available for a variety of age ranges lasting about 3–4 hours. Bus service will be provided from Kahului and Kīhei for a fee of $260 round trip ($130 one-way).

Hawaii Technology Academy
Registration for HTA’s 2023 Virtual Summer School program is open to all Hawai‘i resident students in Grades 9–12. Our virtual summer school program will help high school students close potential learning gaps or explore new interests. Our virtual summer school is a five-day-a-week program. On some days students will meet online with their teacher and peers; on other days they will log on for independent assignments. HTA is a leader in virtual education and our teachers know how to keep classes engaging and relevant. Courses are offered for both credit recovery and credit advancement. They include Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, English 2, Modern History of Hawai‘i, U.S. History and Government, World History, P.E. Life Fitness, and Health. Or dive into fun elective courses with an Introduction to Computer Science, Theatre Arts, Hacks of Life, or Psychology.

Sacred Hearts School
Week 1: May 30th–June 2nd: Chemistry & Body Works - Experiment with chemicals and elements by making flowers that change colors, glow-in-the-dark goop, balls of fire, and color-changing crystals. In Body Works, dissect frogs, insects, and sheep eyes. Learn body functions, anatomy, muscles, and more.
Week 2: June 5th–9th: Fabulous Physics & Electrifying Circuitry Go into your own toy shop and learn the physical science behind how toys work. They will make projects including marble roller coasters, airplanes, kaleidoscopes, and color wheels as well as learn basic circuitry by making buzzers, morse code, and more.
Week 3: June 12th–16th: Spaced Out / Rock-On - Take a journey through space as you make your own mini solar system. Join NASA from past to present as we learn about space shuttles, mars rovers, and more! Campers will also dig for fossils, start their own 15-piece rock and mineral collection, build and erupt a volcano, and learn about sundials.

Learning Endeavors
Coastal Camp - Learning Endeavors is offering (6) 4-day camps for ages 5–11. Campers have adventures in forests, wetlands, tidepools, and more! They engage in hi-tech citizen science and hands-on science labs, as well as fun art projects. June and July sessions include Traveling Turtles, Bugs Bonanza, Wonder of Wings, Water Summer to Sea, Under the Sea, and Fantastic Forests. Maui Huliau Foundation
Maui Huliau Foundation is offering three summer programs for Maui youth. Need-based scholarships are available for all programs. You can find details and apply online at mauihuliaufoundation.org/summer.
Waihe‘e Huaka‘i explores the Waihe‘e ahupua‘a from mauka to makai. Students will hike part of the ridge trail, explore HLT’s Waihe‘e Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge, and camp overnight on the refuge. Ages: 13–18 • Cost: $75
The 4-Day EcoAdventure for grades 7–9 runs July 18th–21st and costs $200. The program visits four sites including Maui Nui Botanical Gardens, Noho‘ana Farm, Ka‘ehu, and Kīpuka Olowalu with activities including beach cleanups, swimming, working in a lo‘i, cultural crafts, and more.

Lahaina Quest: Timeline Exploration Unit
A quest through time and across space in historic Lahaina. 5 days, 5 time periods, 5 historic locations. Each day, campers will explore a different era of Lahaina’s history by creating take home crafts, making and tasting foods from the cultures that make Hawai'i special, visiting historic sites/museums, and playing games from the past.

Lahaina Quest: Museum Exhibition Unit
Celebrate 60 years of saving history in Lahaina. Campers will create an exhibition for the Lahaina Heritage Museum that highlights the historic gems of Lahaina. To prepare for the exhibition, campers will practice the art and activities of Lahaina’s cultures and end with an exhibition opening reception for the public.

Pacific Whale Foundation
Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Camp offers fun, adventure, and learning for children entering or currently enrolled in grades 2–5. Campers learn about the ocean and Maui’s natural environment while developing skills and making new friends. Each week features a unique ocean-related theme with daily hands-on science lessons, team-building games and expressive crafts, as well as nature-based field trips, including private snorkel trips on PacWhale Eco-Adventures' vessels. Space is limited, so make sure to register early!
