Students will receive off field curriculum that will cover safety, marker types, maintenance, equipment application, game types, competitive play, posture, angles, communication, health and tactics. Every day students will apply the lessons that they learn to play the game of paintball better and to be ambassadors of paintball. The paintball course spans acres of the Olowalu forest and includes plenty of trees, barricades and forts. Phone numbers will be exchanged to help facilitate car-pooling from the Westside, South Side, Central Maui, and Upcountry. Parents are encouraged but not required to participate, their access is free when accompanied by their child. Space is limited. The Seabury Hall Soccer Camp kicks off its 36th year of providing Maui’s youth quality training in soccer fundamentals. The camp develops a full range of technical skills, from passing and dribbling to finishing along with goalie training. Tactical training and skill reinforcement are emphasized during games played in the afternoon sessions.

overnight camps science camps of america Hawaii Island hosts Science Camp for Teens. Science Camps of America will hold two ten-day camp sessions—Land & Sea and Air & Space— this summer on Hawaii Island for teens entering grades 8–12 in Fall 2015. Home base will be the Pahala Plantation Cottages in Ka’u. Campers will explore diverse environments, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Mauna Loa Climate Observatory, Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center and more. Star-gazing, hiking, snorkeling, meeting scientists, and of course, making new friends in a science learning experience like no other.
