>>>MIL ATHLETES OF THE YEAR <<<
Baldwin High School graduate Keelan Ewaliko, who played quarterback, is headed to the University of Hawaii on a football scholarship. He is a three-time MIL Offensive Player of the Year in football and five-time state gold medalist in track and field. He has also received MIL All-Star recognition in soccer. Ewaliko was inducted into the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor’s class of 2013.
DAKOTA GROSSMAN
KEELAN EWALIKO
Seabury Hall’s Dakota Grossman is 3-for-3 at the state cross country championships. That’s three titles in her first three years. With another victory next year as a senior, she will become just the second boy or girl to win four titles. In track and field, Grossman won the 3,000 meters. In all, she has won seven state gold medals, which ties the MIL record set by Tia Ferguson of Seabury in the 1990s.

We’re not just your family, friends and neighbors. We’re also your
biggest fans.
Look in our family of companies and you’ll find athletes, volunteer coaches, soccer moms, baseball dads and grandparents who show up for every game. One thing we all have in common is that we love to support Maui’s kids. Congratulations to the Sport Spotlight honorees and all the Maui Interscholastic League student athletes. We’re proud of you. Since 1999, Alexander & Baldwin has helped honor nearly 1,200 athletes and donated more than $160,000 to support Maui County high school athletics.
