Board Botschaft: Black is the New Black and Love is Blue

Mavs did not disappoint when asked to post their favorite P-car photos on Facebook. In short order, I received over 60 responses. While some affirmed a life-long dream, many are simply stunning glamour shots worthy of a Slipstream cover. Whether feeding an ongoing passion or building a legacy, I found that ‘there is no substitute.’ Thanks to those who submitted photos. Due to the sheer volume of submissions, I’ve created a series organized in alphabetical order by color—let’s begin with Black and Blue. Stay tuned because future issues of Slipstream will feature these shades: Red, Silver White, and Yellow. Revel in the imagery. Read the stories. Reminisce. Drive. Know that we ‘get’ you. A classic color, nothing is a substitute for black. Personal experience has taught me that black requires an inordinate effort to keep clean. On that note, ‘hats off’ for these wonderful shots. Do not miss the variety of generations presented here.

I do believe that blue is a terrific color for a Porsche. Member photos show a wide range of shades that are equally beautiful. If love had a color, I think it would be blue.
