RailFirst has many workshops around the country, including a roundhouse (train maintenance facility) in Junee. As the Wodonga branch was not known for working with high horsepower engines, RailFirst was pleased to learn that Cummins technicians can travel out to service their engines.
With an extensive knowledge in the high horsepower field and of QSK78 engines, Daniel Holden, Supervisor – Field Service, worked closely with RailFirst to secure a positive relationship with the customer.
Brett Sheriff, Asset Services Planner for RailFirst, was highly satisfied with the work provided by the Wodonga field service team. In his feedback email, he thanked Daniel, Nathan Frauenfelder and Mitch Hall for their quality service:
“The support from the team at Wodonga is absolutely fantastic. Dan is easy to get hold of and keeps us informed. The help and knowledge from Mitch and Nathan on site is excellent. It is great to see such a high level of customer support, please thank them all from me.”
In December, Daniel visited the Junee rail roundhouse workshop to meet Brett and the RailFirst team for the first time.
“As the Field Service Supervisor, I personally got to see firsthand the application my team had to work on and understand their experience working on the locomotives,” Daniel said.
“We supply RailFirst with a very high level of customer support and we go above and beyond to meet their expectations.”
