What are your roles and responsibilities?

I am a Legal Intern. I provide support within the Cummins Legal Function, which provides a full range of legal services in support of Cummins throughout the Asia Pacific region.

What are you studying?

I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts.

Can you share a bit about your cultural background?

I am Australian and have lived in Australia all my life. I have Scottish heritage and used to compete in Highland dancing, a traditional style of Scottish dancing.

What’s an odd fact about you people might not know?

I enjoy learning about history. I am majoring in history in my Bachelor of Arts.

What movie/TV show is a must watch for you and why?

The Harry Potter movies. I always enjoy a Harry Potter movie, no matter how many times I have seen it.

Jerica David

What are your roles and responsibilities?

Application Engineering Intern for Power Generation. I support the work of the Power Gen Team by assisting my supervisor with project tasks such as generator sizing, electrical design and drawings, inspection test plans and mechanical design analysis.

What are you studying?

Mechanical engineering with minors in electrical and medical engineering at QUT.

Can you share a bit about your cultural background?

I was born and raised in the Philippines, moved to Port Macquarie, NSW, when I was 15 years old, and then to Brisbane after graduating from high school.

What’s an odd fact about you people might not know?

I love art. Painting is one of my hobbies and I’m left-handed.

What movie/TV show is a must watch for you and why?

MoneyHeist is a must-watch series and my current favourite movie is WheretheCrawdadsSing.

Tyge Walker

What are your roles and responsibilities?

I am the Supply Chain Intern working in the continuous improvement team as a project analyst, under my manager Kirsty Van Oudtshoorn. The role involves collaborating with various functions across the business to help improve their operations.

What are you studying?

I am in my third year of economics at the University of Melbourne.

Can you share a bit about your cultural background?

My dad is Australian and my mum is from the Philippines. I was born and raised on the Gold Coast. I cannot speak Tagalog but have visited my extended family in the Philippines many times and hope to go back soon.

What’s an odd fact about you people might not know?

I have a 38-year-old half-brother on my dad’s side.

What movie/TV show is a must watch for you and why?

Mad Men is an absolute classic. It provides an insight into upper-class American society in the 1960s–1970s with superb acting.
