ATA National Trucking Industry: Woman of the Year

At the end of March, the on-highway team attended the 2023 National Trucking Industry Awards on the Gold Coast.

Owned by the Australian Trucking Association, the awards ceremony recognises businesses and individuals who have gone above and beyond the requirements of their roles to improve their workplaces and the industry.

Lora Miller, On-highway Product Manager, reprised her role by announcing the Woman of the Year Award. In her speech, she touched on celebrating the Cummins Powers Women program’s 5th anniversary, the new female apprentices, and Cummins’ dedication to its diversity and inclusion values.

After showcasing the nominees, Lora announced Alina Hawkins, Chief Operating Officer for the Livestock and Rural Transporters Association of Victoria, as the winner. As part of her prize, Alina will be invited to visit the Cummins headquarters in Columbus, Indiana.
