EDITORIAL

Il valore della creatività Metà delle attività di oggi, tra venti anni, saranno scomparse; i lavori legati ai trasporti, alla logistica, all’amministrazione e a tutte le attività ripetitive, saranno delegati ai computer e alle intelligienze artificiali.

I lavori nuovi saranno quelli basati sull’empatia, sulla creatività, sulla capacità di negoziare, sulla comunicazione… tutti campi che un’intelligenza artificiale, per quanto sofisticata, non riesce a padroneggiare. Basta leggere le traduzioni di Google.

Noi italiani, flessibili, empatici, ingegnosi, dovremmo sentirci rassicurati, perché queste cose le abbiamo nel sangue.

L’imprevisto e l’ambiguità (due cose che i computer non sanno affrontare) non ci spaventano.

Sappiamo creare con gusto, sappiano produrre piacere e bellezza, tutte cose difficili da informatizzare. Grazie alla diffusione delle stampanti 3D la tecnologia potrebbe anche dare impulso alla nostra straordinaria vocazione di artigiani.

Ma dobbiamo però riconoscere il valore, anche economico, di queste nostre abilità. Se escludiamo alcuni fortunati (oltre che abili) stilisti, designer, architetti, scrittori, registi (se andate a contarli, non sono molti: fanno molto effetto, ma non sono certo un grande numero) oggi i lavori meno pagati sono proprio quelli creativi, alcuni dei quali non godono neppure dell’onore di una etichetta formale e, negli elenchi ufficiali, finiscono negli eccetera. Ma sono quelli che domani ci salveranno. È ora che la creatività sia riconosciuta. E, se possibile, ricompensata.

The new jobs will be based on empathy, creativity, on the ability to negotiate, on communication… all fields in which artificial intelligence, no matter how sophisticated, is definitely not superior. Just read the translations that Google provides.

We Italians, flexible, empathetic, clever, should feel reassured since we have these things in our blood.

The unexpected and the ambiguous (two things that computers do not know how to deal with) don’t frighten us.

We know how to create with taste, we know how to produce pleasure and beauty,all things that are difficult to entrust to a computer. Thanks to the implementation of 3D printers, the technology could also be an incentive for our extraordinary vocation asskilled craftsmen.

But we must indeed acknowledge the value, also economical, of our skills. If we exclude a few lucky (as well as talented) designers, decorators, architects, writers, directors (if you want to count them, they aren’t many: the total is startling but it’s not really a large number) today the lesser paid jobs are in fact the creative ones, some of which do not even have a formal title and, which, in official lists, wind up indicated as etcetera. But they are the jobs that tomorrow will save us. The time has come for creativity to be acknowledged. And, if possible, recompensed.

Elisabetta II veste ipercolor per motivi di protocollo, che impongono che sia facilmente identificabile nella folla, e quindi porta di solito borse nere o bianche.

Il piatto dello chef più celebre di Senigallia, applauditissimo dai 4mila visitatori che hanno partecipato all’evento, si chiama Bagnasciuga. Gli ingredienti: cialde di tapioca, alghe, rossetti (pesciolini dell’Adriatico), ricci grattati fini, bottarga, acqua di mare. Un’insalata che è un inno al mare, alla gioia di vivere, alla semplicità. In poche parole, al vero lusso.

ULIASSI, TASTE IS ON STAGE The recipe for the summer is contained in a startling dish by MAURO ULIASSI, who described feelings, humors, philosophy, at the 7th edition of Gusto in scena, the Venetian eno-gastronomic event in which 14 star chefs, the best pizza makers, pastry chefs and bread makers, competed with LaCucina del Senza®, according to the rules by Marcello Coronini.

The dish by the most famous chef in Senigallia, applauded by the four thousand visitors who participated in the event, is called Bagnasciuga. The ingredients: tapioca wafers, algae, rossetti (small Adriatic fish), finely grated sea urchins,botargo, sea water. A salad that is a hymn to the sea, to the joy of living, to simplicity. AL VOLO Avviso importante per i passeggeri in transito dall’aeroporto di Linate (ma anche per chi non necessariamente deve partire e vuole provare una cucina emozionale di ottima fattura): lasciate perdere le “rustichelle”, e andate a trovare lo chef CITINO, mente pensante del MICHELANGELO RESTAURANT, area partenze, 2° piano, prima dei controlli di polizia. La sua arte ai fornelli, di radice mediterranea e solare, qui ha prodotto una perfetta commistione tra leggerezza e salute, ricerca e semplicità, grazie anche ad ingredienti rigorosamente di stagione, come dimostra il tema del giorno, che abbiamo potuto “testare”: sedano rapa & Champagne Pommery (partner privilegiato di Mychef, sponsor dell'iniziativa). Noi abbiamo provato con grande soddisfazione il gambero rosso marinato, panna agra, olio all’aneto e granita alle arance tarocco, per continuare con gli gnocchi soffiati arrosto, fonduta al taleggio, frutta glassata e cacao, e terminare in sublime delizia con il cannolo di latte, cioccolato e nocciole.

BACK TO THE SIXTIES Un salto negli anni in cui la moda è letteralmente esplosa.

Fanno rivivere gli anni Sessanta con stile ed eleganza Alessandro Averone e Anna Foglietta, che veste i panni di una moderna Twiggy. Il tutto nel cuore di Roma all’HOTEL EDEN, un albergo dal fascino intramontabile.

La passione di ANNA FOGLIETTA per lo spettacolo ha inizio mentre frequenta il liceo, quando sceglie di seguire un corso di teatro. Terminato, comincia la sua carriera da attrice, un percorso che passa attraverso il teatro, la pubblicità, la televisione ed infine il cinema. Nel 2004 la sua prima esperienza sul piccolo schermo con La Squadra per quattro anni, per poi passare a Distretto di Polizia. Nel 2005 il primo film Sfiorati. Varie altre parti la portano a Solo un padre (2008) dove ha una parte che richiede una grande applicazione per cui riceve il premio Attrice Rivelazione dell’Anno al Festival delle Cerase. Il ruolo chiave che le cambia la vita è Nessuno mi può giudicare (2010). Grazie alla candidatura al David e ai Nastri d'Argento arriveranno molte altre proposte. Per lo stesso film, il premio Antica Fratta la consacra come miglior attrice di commedia per il 2011. Lavora in Ex-Amici come prima, La nuova ossessione, L’amore è imperfetto, Mai Stati Uniti e Colpi di Fulmine grazie al quale vince il Cine Ciak d'Oro come miglior attrice comica e le Chiavi d'Oro per gli incassi. Il ritorno in televisione è per produzioni brevi e di spessore come L’oro di Scampia o Ragion di Stato. Di nuovo sul grande schermo con Tutta colpa di Freud e Confusi e felici, da marzo è nelle sale con La prima volta di mia figlia.

A 18 anni ALESSANDRO AVERONE viene selezionato all’Accademia d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico. Dopo il diploma collabora in un progetto triennale per il Teatro Eliseo lavorando sotto la direzione di Scaparro e Carniti. Successivamente inaugura il Globe Theatre di Roma come Romeo nel Romeo e Giulietta diretto da Gigi Proietti. Scelto da Lievi come protagonista di Fotografia di una stanza lavora per due stagioni con il Teatro Stabile di Brescia. Da questo momento inizia una lunga e importante collaborazione con il Teatro Due di Parma. Durante questi 7 anni affronta come attore 19 spettacoli e inizia anche la sua esperienza come regista mettendo in scena 4 spettacoli. Viene scelto da Peter Stein come protagonista dello spettacolo colossal I Demoni tratto dall’omonimo romanzo di Dostoevskj. La collaborazione con Stein è continuata con Il ritorno a casa. Ha prestato la voce come protagonista in due radiodrammi di radio2 interpretando prima Tazio Nuvolari e poi Elvis Presley.

Al cinema con Le intermittenze del cuore, Riprendimi e Interno giorno. In televisione è protagonista del film per Rai 1 Max & Helene diretto da Battiato. Nel 2013 vince il premio della critica ANCT (associazione nazionale critici teatrali).

After graduation worked in a threeyear project for the Teatro Eliseo working under the direction of Scapparo and Carniti. Subsequently inaugurates the Globe Theatre of Rome as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet directed by Gigi Proietti. Chosen by Mild as the star of Fotografia di una stanza, he works for two seasons with the Teatro Stabile di Brescia. LA NUOVA OSTERIA CHIC IN TERRAZZA CON VISTA SU PARCO SEMPIONE Lo Chef Stefano Cerveni, 1 Stella Michelin, sarà l'Head Chef del nuovo Ristorante della Triennale di Milano ma la sua casa resta sempre al Due Colombe, gioiello a Borgonato di Cortefranca Dall’aprile 2015 per i prossimi quattro anni guiderà il nuovo ristorante della Triennale, già famosa in tutto il mondo, che durante l’Expo diventerà uno dei poli di riferimento culturale. È il traguardo raggiunto da Stefano Cerveni, nonché punto di partenza di una nuova storia, sicuramente molto impegnativa ma di assoluto prestigio. Una grande sfida a tempi brevissimi. Ha conquistato il favore della Commissione di Giuria, presieduta da Claudio De Albertis, incaricata di selezionare tramite concorso il progetto più valido e creativo. E per Stefano Cerveni, il sapore della soddisfazione ha già lasciato spazio all’attività organizzativa. Sta lavorando al suo “Dream Team”, che sarà composto da 24 persone, al menu e alla cantina, che sarà curata da Nicola Bonera, già suo fidato collaboratore al Ristorante Due Colombe a Borgonato di Cortefranca. In tavola, i grandi classici dello chef e i piatti della tradizione italiana rivisitati in chiave moderna, rimanendo fedele al suo concept: materie prime che sanciscono il forte legame con il territorio e con l’Italia. Negli anni, Cerveni ha saputo conquistare uno spazio caratterizzato da uno stile sobrio sostenuto da una cucina salutare, colta e raffinata, attingendo suggestioni dal territorio circostante. E questo deve essere piaciuto alla Commissione di esperti riportando in auge una consuetudine tra arte e cucina che in passato aveva animato la terrazza progettata dall’architetto razionalista Giovanni Muzio per il tempo di un solo servizio, quello della cena inaugurale del 10 maggio 1933. Lo storico edificio, oggi è sede fissa del Triennale Design Museum e del Teatro dell’Arte. Cerveni è atteso da una clientela colta, internazionale e sofisticata. Il Ristorante godrà di una location unica e per esaltarlo al meglio, lo Studio OBR di Paolo Brescia e Tommaso Principi ha ideato una serra in vetro, con brigata a vista ed un orto di erbe aromatiche all’ingresso, tutte edibili. Ad ombreggiare il tutto, una scenografica vela in armonia con l’ambiente circostante, pronta ad ospitare in inverno 50 coperti, e altri 70 all’aperto nella bella stagione, per godersi la nuova skyline meneghina. “Questo progetto - racconta Stefano Cerveni - nasce da un’amicizia con Ugo Fava, proprietario dell’Art Bar e Bistrot “Le Biciclette”, nonché milanese doc. È un’idea che ho ponderato e voluto fortemente. Da 2 anni mi sento pronto per una nuova sfida e ora ho la coscienza di poterlo fare perché lo staff del Due Colombe è diventato di cemento”.

THE NEW CHIC TERRACE RESTAURANT OVERLOOKING SEMPIONE PARK Chef Stefano Cerveni, 1 Michelin Star, will be the Head Chef of the new restaurant of the Milan Triennale but his house is always at Due Colombe, jewel of Borgonato Cortefranca.

From April 2015 for the next four years will lead the new restaurant of the Triennale, already famous throughout the world, during the Expo will become one of the centers of cultural reference. E la sua idea è quella di un’osteria di alto livello, dalla gestione “pura”. Una forma di ristorazione che abbia la stessa qualità di quella stellata, ma con un servizio dall’attitudine “friendly” e con dei piatti che vengano semplificati all’ennesima potenza. “Credo di aver vinto - continua lo Chef - perché ho raccontato la mia storia, quella di un oste, stellato sì, ma sempre un oste. Presenterò solo esclusivamente cucina italiana, non contaminata, pura, semplice, schietta e vera. Riproporrò per metà i piatti della carta del Due Colombe e prevedo di recuperare e sviluppare tutte le eccellenze italiane, le ricette tradizionali, e interpretarle in chiave Expo, ma con criterio, lavorando sull’essenza delle cose senza verità intrinseche. Voglio sviluppare quello che ha portato il Due Colombe a essere tale, concentrando un servizio semplice ma di livello, mettendo il cliente a suo agio. Voglio usare quest’occasione per dimostrare quello che la cucina italiana è in grado di proporre e che stiamo pian piano perdendo”. I fedeli del Due Colombe di Borgonato non devono preoccuparsi, però. Stefano Cerveni sarà ancora in sala e ogni sera farà ritorno tra le vigne di Franciacorta. Si dividerà tra la sua “casa” e la nuova sede di Milano, lasciando in sua assenza la gestione a Sara, la compagna con cui convolerà a nozze ad agosto.

It's an idea that I have considered and strongly desired. Since two years I feel ready for a new challenge and now I have the conscience to do so because the staff of Due Colombe became very concrete.” And his idea is a tavern of highlevel management from “pure”. A form of food that has the same quality as that starry, but with a service and a "friendly" attitude and with the dishes that are simplified. “I think I won - continues the Chef - because I told my story, that of a landlord, starry yes, but always an innkeeper. Present only exclusively Italian cuisine, uncontaminated, pure, simple, sincere and true. I'll present half the dishes card of my restaurant and expect to recover and develop all the Italian excellence, traditional recipes, and interpret them for Expo, but wisely, working on the essence of things without intrinsic truth. I want to develop what brought the Due Colombe to be such, but concentrating a simple service level, putting the customer at ease. I want to use this opportunity to show what Italian cuisine is able to offer and we are slowly losing”. The faithful of Borgonato need not worry, though. Stefano Cerveni will still be in his restaurant and every evening he will return through the vineyards of Franciacorta. Will be divided between his “home” and the new headquarters in Milan, leaving in his absence management to Sara, their wedding will be in August.

TIEPIDO DI BURRATA PUGLIESE, OSTRICHE DI BRETAGNA, CIPOLLE DI TROPEA E CAVIALE DI ARINGA

INGREDIENTI PER 4 PERSONE 1 burrata pugliese da 300 gr freschissima 1 cipolla di tropea 1 cucchiaio di erba cipollina tritata 12 ostriche fine de claire 60 gr di dadini di pan brioche tostati in forno 40 gr di uova d’aringa 1 dl di olio extravergine Sale maldon PROCEDIMENTO Pelate e tagliate la cipolla a piccoli spicchi, fatela sbollentare in acqua salata per 1 minuto, scolate e raffreddate in acqua corrente.

Sgusciate le ostriche conservando il mollusco nella sua acqua per 1 ora circa.

ASSEMBLAGGIO Aprite la burrata, estraete la polpa interna e distribuitela uniformemente in 4 piatti fondi ben caldi.

Aggiungete, tenendo il tutto ben separato, le ostriche ed i pezzetti di cipolla di tropea; mettete i piatti sotto il grill preriscaldato per pochi istanti, giusto per intiepidire la burrata.

Togliete dal grill, aggiungete i dadini di pan brioche, l’erba cipollina, le uova di aringa e qualche granello di sale maldon; condite con un filo d’olio d’oliva e servite subito.

WARM BURRATA, OYSTERS OF BRITAIN, TROPEA ONIONS AND HERRING CAVIAR INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE 300 g fresh burrata from Puglia 1 red onion 1 tablespoon chopped chives 12 de claire oysters end 60 grams of diced brioche bread toasted in the oven 40 grams of eggs of herring 1 dl olive oil Maldon salt PROCEEDINGS Peel and cut the onion into small slices, let it boil in salted water for 1 minute, drain and cool under running water.

Shelled oysters retaining the mollusk in its water for about 1 hour.

ASSEMBLY Open the burrata, remove the inner pulp and distribute it evenly into 4 hot soup plates.

Add, taking all well separated, oysters and chopped red onion; put the dishes under the preheated grill for few minutes, just to cool the burrata.

Remove from the grill, add the diced brioche bread, chives, eggs of herring and a pinch of Maldon salt; drizzled with olive oil and serve it immediately.

CIBO, ETICA E SALUTE Mangiare bene per migliorare la salute. È il campo della “nutraceutica”, neologismo originato dalla crasi tra nutrizione e farmaceutica, la disciplina che si occupa di approfondire gli effetti benefici che alcuni elementi e prodotti naturali possono avere sulla salute. Proprio alla nutraceutica saranno dedicati alcuni spazi dell'atteso Expo 2015.

Sempre maggiore è l'attenzione verso questa disciplina, basta citare solo alcuni illuminanti esempi. La Regione Toscana ha promosso un bando Nutraceutica da 1,6 mln rivolto agli enti del Servizio sanitario regionale, alle Università, agli enti di ricerca operanti in Toscana. I progetti presentati sono stati in tutto 80 e 14 i progetti vincitori.

Riguardano alimenti come olio d'oliva, latte d'asina, birra, frumento, uva, riso, ma non mancano elementi di novità, come ad esempio lo studio sugli effetti benefici degli insetti sulla salute umana. I 14 progetti selezionati andranno a Expo Milano 2015. “Le relazioni tra alimentazione e salute dell'uomo - sottolinea l'assessore al diritto alla salute Luigi Marroni - rappresentano un aspetto cardine attorno al quale possono ruotare le politiche di prevenzione e cura. Quello della nutrizione è, di fatto, un tema sul quale la nostra regione ha molte carte da giocare: uno dei settori portanti del sistema produttivo toscano è proprio quello della produzione di alimenti tipici di elevata qualità.

Alimenti che contribuiscono anche a prevenire le malattie e promuovere la salute dei cittadini”. Allo stesso modo, altro importante esempio dell'impegno nella divulgazione di tali concetti è stato il convegno “Il cibo della salute.

Nutraceutica e alimenti funzionali” svoltosi lo scorso Febbraio a Pisa per far conoscere anche ad una platea di non addetti ai lavoro l'importanza degli studi sulle molecole contenute nei cibi, animali e vegetali, che hanno valenza salutistica. Un tema che si inserisce perfettamente nel legame tra cibo, etica e salute.

FOOD, ETHICS AND HEALTH Eating well to improve health. That's the field of “nutriceutics”, a neologism that originated from the crasis between nutrition and pharmaceutics, the discipline that analyzes the beneficial effects that certain elements and natural products can have on health. Expo 2015 in fact will dedicate space to nutriceutics.

More attention is being given to this discipline and here are a few illuminating examples. The Regione Toscana has promoted a Nutriceutic initiative for 1,6 million euro aimed at regional health services, universities, as well as research agencies operating in Tuscany. A total of 80 projects were submitted and 14 projects were selected. They cover foods such as olive oil, she-ass milk, beer, grapes, rice, but there are also some new elements, such as the research on the beneficial effects of insects on human health. The 14 projects selected will be at Expo Milano 2015. “The relation between food and human health underlined the assessor to the right to health Luigi Marroni - represents an important aspect around which prevention and treatment policies are based. Nutrition in fact is a subject on which our region has much to say: one of the fundamental sectors of the Tuscan productive system is that of producing high-quality typical foods. Foods which also contribute to preventing illness and promoting the health of our citizens”. At the same time, another important example of the commitment to spreading these concepts was the meeting on “The food of health. Nutriceutics and functional food” which took place last February in Pisa to divulge to an audience of non-specialists the important work of the research on the molecules contained in foods, both animal and vegetable, and their importance for health. A subject that fits in perfectly in the link joining food, ethics and health.

Ad organizzare l'evento il Centro Interdipartimentale Nutrafood-Nutraceutica e Alimentazione per la Salute, che ha sede presso il dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie alimentari e agro-ambientali. A dirigerlo Manuela Giovannetti, che da tempo svolge ricerche riguardanti i parametri ambientali che nelle piante influenzano il contenuto in sostanze di alto valore salutistico.Tra gli ospiti illustri esperti scientifici. “Vogliamo affrontate i vari aspetti che caratterizzano la nutraceutica con un'impostazione divulgativa - spiega la Direttrice di Nutrafood - per diffonderne la conoscenza anche ad un pubblico non esclusivamente scientifico: è importante rafforzare la cultura della nutrizione, la consapevolezza di ciò che si mangia e degli importanti valori che contengono alcuni alimenti”.

The event was organized by the Nutrafood-Nutraceutica e Alimentazione per la Salute interdepartmental center, which is located at the department of agrarian sciences and food and environment. The director is Manuela Giovannetti, who for some time now has conducted research on the environmental parameters which in plants influence the contents in high-value health substances. Many illustrious scientific experts were among the guests. “We want to face the various aspects that mark nutriceutics with a disclosure format - explained Nutrafood’s director - to spread awareness to a public that is not exclusively composed of scientists: it’s important to strengthen the culture of nutrition, the awareness of what we eat and of the important values that certain foods contain”.

STORYTELLING MUSICA DELLE EMOZIONI Storytelling: ovvero l'arte di raccontare una storia. È l'arte di trovatori e poeti, romanzieri e drammaturghi. Ma sempre di più è anche un’arte che interessa a pubblicitari, uomini marketing e responsabili di uffici comunicazione e vendite. Perché se la magia di una bella storia ha la forza di attraversare i secoli, forse in essa c'è il segreto per catturare l'attenzione del pubblico e far conoscere meglio i propri prodotti o il proprio brand.

Col diluvio di informazioni scatenato poi dal mondo digitale, la conquista dell'attenzione è diventata la sfida fondamentale. E per solleticare l'attenzione, nulla è efficace quanto una bella storia.

STORYTELLING THE MUSIC OF EMOTIONS Storytelling: that is, the art of telling a story. It’s the art of troubadours and poets, authors and playwrights. But more and more frequently it’s also an art that interests copywriters as well as persons working in the marketing, communications and sales sectors. Because if the magic of a good story is strong enough to last for centuries, perhaps it contains the secret to capturing the attention of the audience and to more effectively advertising its products or its brand.

Today attention is even more coveted and rare. If on a daily basis in 1968 a spectator could watch an average of 33 of what at that time we called commercials, today we easily exceed 3,000. With the deluge of information unleashed by the digital world, conquering attention has become the fundamental challenge. And nothing is better than a good story to arouse attention.

La nostra specie è infatti geneticamente programmata per elaborare informazioni sotto forma di storie, per organizzarle secondo una struttura narrativa. È un modo “rassicurante” di leggere e decodificare gli eventi che accadono attorno a noi, le interazioni con i nostri simili e le domande che ci poniamo su noi stessi.

Tuttavia, riferire un evento non basta a fare una bella storia. Il primo a studiarci sopra fu Aristotele che nella sua Poetica fornì tecniche e consigli per elaborare un’opera “di successo”. In tempi più recenti, diversi studiosi hanno mostrato come alla base di ogni narrazione efficace ci siano elementi e strutture universali, in grado di entrare in risonanza con le nostre corde più intime.

L’arte dello storytelling è insomma l’arte di emozionarci. Chi la possiede, può farci sognare o piangere, entusiasmare o spaventare. Può farci innamorare di un’idea o riflettere su un valore. O più semplicemente convincerci che una saponetta è più profumata o un’automobile più grintosa.

Our species in fact is genetically programmed to elaborate information in the form of stories, to organize said information according to a structured narrative. It’s a “reassuring” way of reading and decoding the events that occur around us, the interactions with our peers and the questions that we ask of ourselves.

Nonetheless, just telling others about an event isn’t enough to make a good story. The first person to study this phenomenon was Aristotle who in his Poetica provided techniques and advice for constructing a “successful” work. In more recent times, several researchers have demonstrated that at the root of any effective narrative there are universal elements and structures, capable of touching our innermost cords.

In short, the art of storytelling is the art of transmitting emotions. Whoever possesses it can make us dream or cry, thrill or frighten. It can make us fall in love with an idea or reflect on a value. Or simply convince us that one bar of soap is more fragrant than another or that one car is better than another.

È stata appena presentata a Berlino, la nuovissima e attesa rivisitazione della fiaba di Charles Perrault per la regia di Kenneth Branagh: Cenerentola. È stato il trionfo che ha chiuso questa edizione della Berlinale.

Risultato straordinario per la critica, per cui il regista ha saputo esaltare al meglio la bravura di un tripudio di attori stellari.

A CONTEMPORARY CINDERELLA The newest and latest version of Charles Perrault’s fairy tale Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh, has taken Berlin by storm.

It was a triumph that closed this edition of the Berlinale.

The critics claimed that it was extraordinary, and that Branaghexpertly brought out the best of each of the starring players.

ARISA è la protagonista di Liberi, colonna sonora finale della Cenerentola di Kenneth Branagh e a proposito di tale partnership con Disney abbiamo potuto farle qualche domanda in occasione della prima italiana.

Da giovane donna e cantante affermata come ti sei sentita a dare la tua voce per la colonna sonora di una delle fiabe più amate di tutti i tempi? Sono stata onorata di questo progetto creato per me da Disney, questa favola ha significato molto nella mia infanzia e adolescenza. Direi che proprio le fiabe Disney mi hanno insegnato la speranza e soprattutto che il bene vince sempre. Quindi interpretare questo brano rappresenta un po' il coronamento di un percorso e ne sono davvero orgogliosa.

Raccontaci qualcosa in più di Liberi, qual è il messaggio di questa Cenerentola contemporanea? Certo, il messaggio è che nonostante possa sembrare che intorno a noi ci sia solo un continuo disagio, il mondo non è cattivo. Dobbiamo cercare la bontà e avere rispetto del dono della vita. La cattiveria è solo una conseguenza della mancanza di rispetto per la vita. Piuttosto la bontà può e deve diventare contagiosa per chi ci circonda.

Con la sua semplicità disarmante, deliziosa e vincente, quando le chiediamo cosa è un lusso per Arisa, ci confessa: “Che dirvi, a volte mi coccolo prendendo un taxi” ARISA is the protagonist of Liberi, the closing music to Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella, and speaking of this partnership with Disney we were able to ask her a few questions during the Italian premiere.

As a young woman and successful singer, how did you feel "lending" your voice to the sound track of one of the best loved fairy tales of all times? I was honored that Disney created this project for me, this fairy tale meant so much to me when I was a child and as a teenager. I can honestly say that the Disney fairy tales taught me hope and above all that good always wins out over evil. So interpreting this piece is sort of a crowning glory to my growth and I am truly proud of it. Tell us something more about 'Liberi', what is the message behind this contemporary Cinderella? Of course, the message is that although it might seem that there's only confusion all around us, the world is not evil. We must seek goodness and be respectful of the gift of life.

Evilness is just the consequence of the lack of respect for life. While goodness can and must become contagious for all those around us.

With her charming, sweet and candid simplicity, when we ask her what luxury is for Arisa, che confesses: “What can I tell you, sometimes I treat myself to a taxi”.

Stiamo parlando dell'ultimo dei tanti successi di una straordinaria Cate Blanchett che brilla nel ruolo della dispotica antagonista di Cenerentola, che insieme a Helena Bonham Carter “la fata” e “Cenerentola” Lily James hanno dato alla romantica fiaba una nuova vita.

La nuova Cenerentola di Branagh è infatti divenuta un classico contemporaneo. Alla conferenza stampa di presentazione del film, Cate Blanchett ha ribadito la modernità della favola Disney: “Questa Cenerentola è una storia di donne, sulla forza delle donne. I personaggi della favola sono puri archetipi. Il merito di Kenneth è stato quello di infondere nuova vita a tali archetipi. È così che questa volta ci è permesso uno sguardo dentro l’anima di Cenerentola, di capirne le motivazioni, le pieghe dell’anima. E capiamo il perché sia in definitiva una vittima delle circostanze. Circostanze pesanti, apparentemente senza via d’uscita. Ma ha tre frecce nel suo arco: bontà, generosità e pensiero positivo.

La forza nel carattere di Cenerentola è contemporanea: è una forza che nasce da dentro, dalle proprie risorse interiori, la cui scoperta, per ognuno di noi, è l’obiettivo da raggiungere per una vita in equilibrio”.

Dunque ha un’intensità e una forza incredibile questa Cenerentola 2.0 - che non dimostra affatto i suoi 300 anni di storia - anzi, modernissima e per certi versi più che didattica, terapeutica in quanto nella fiaba cinematografica l’amore è l’obiettivo, ma in realtà, a ben vedere, la storia racconta di un’amore più ampio, che trascende la relazione di due persone: quello che salva la protagonista, e Branagh lo racconta in modo sublime, è l'amore per se stessi.

A ben vedere questa magistrale interpretazione della Blanchett appare la naturale prosecuzione, in una sorta di perfezionamento nella declinazione del male, del ruolo che le ha dato l’Oscar in Blue Jasmine di Woody Allen nel 2014, altro indiscutibile capolavoro nel percorso dell'affascinante attrice australiana che ricordiamo anche nella eloquente ed austera Elizabeth - altra pietra miliare della sua carriera e della storia cinematografica, ed ora ricorderemo come la meravigliosa matrigna di Cinderella 2015: da non perdere.

We’re talking about the latest success for the extraordinary CateBlanchett who shines in the role of the despotic antagonist of Cinderella, who together with Helena Bonham Carter, the “fairy godmother” and “Cinderella” Lily James, brought new life to the romantic fairy tale.

Branagh’s new Cinderella, in fact, has become a contemporary classic. At the press conference to present the film, CateBlanchett emphasized the modernity of the Disney fable: “This Cinderella tells the story of women, of the strength of women.The characters in the fairy tale are pure archetypes.

Kenneth’sgenius came to the fore when giving new life to these archetypes.We are thus able to glimpse Cinderella’s soul, to understand how she thinks, the innermost workings of her soul. And we understand why she is in fact a victim of circumstances. Weighty circumstances indeed, apparently with no way out. But she has three arrows ready to fly: goodness, generosity and positivethinking.

Cinderella’s strength of character is contemporary: it’s a strength that comes from within, from one’s inner resources; for each of us, discovering our resources, is the objective for a well-balanced life”.

Consequently this Cinderella 2.0 is intense and incredibly strong - and she certainly doesn’t look like she’s 300 years old, to the contrary - very modern and to a certain extent more therapeuticthan didactic, inasmuch as love is the objective in the movie fairy tale, but in fact, if we look close, the story tells us of a broader love, that transcends the relation between two persons: what saves the protagonist, and Branagh tells it sublimely, is the love for oneself.

If we look closely, Blanchett’s extraordinary interpretation seems the natural following, in a sort of perfecting the declination of evil, to the role for which she was awarded the Oscar in Blue Jasmine by Woody Allen in 2014, another indisputable work of art in the career of the fascinating Australian actress, who we should also mention in the role of the eloquent and austere Elizabeth - another milestone in her career and in the history of movie-making, and now we can remember her as the magnificent step-mother in Cinderella 2015: definitely not to be missed.

Ovviamente non deve mai venir meno la personalità, che deve sempre essere valorizzata, per questo amo spesso sperimentare, anche indossando abiti di stilisti più giovani e meno noti. Avere la possibilità di indossare gioielli straordinari, pezzi unici come quelli proposti per questo servizio fotografico è stato un vero lusso.

Per citare Thomas Mann: “Il tempo raffredda, il tempo chiarifica; nessuno stato d'animo si può mantenere del tutto inalterato nello scorrere delle ore”. In queste pagine il consueto ed atteso approfondimento sulle ultimissime novità orologiere del 2015 presentate a Baselworld, il blasonato Salone Mondiale dell'Orologeria. Segnali di ripresa nel comparto delle lancette da polso si sono registrati negli ultimi mesi dello scorso anno - secondo i dati della ricerca annuale realizzata da GfK per Assorologi - e il 2015 si è aperto con un primo trimestre che conferma l'andamento positivo in termini di vendite. Certo, il settore vive da anni momenti delicati e questo da monte a valle, dalle case produttrici ai punti vendita. Auspicabile una ripresa costante supportata anche da proposte di innalzamento del tetto del contante, provvedimento che eviterebbe l'ormai sempre più diffuso fenomeno di acquisto all’estero di beni di lusso, che ha penalizzato fortemente il mercato italiano negli ultimi anni. Ma veniamo ora alla nostra rassegna di super novità di primavera in arrivo da Basilea.

Patek Philippe Fra le novità del marchio per il 2015 c'è questo cronografo sdoppiante, con referenza 5370. I cronografi sdoppianti, in grado di misurare anche i tempi intermedi, fanno da sempre parte della tradizione di Patek Philippe e rientrano fra le complicazioni più amate dai collezionisti della Maison svizzera. Il movimento impiegato è il calibro CHR 29-535-PS (312 componenti, 34 rubini, 28.800 alternanze/ora, bilanciere Gyromax, spirale Breguet), meccanico a carica manuale, dotato di due ruote a colonne e visibile dal fondello con oblò in vetro zaffiro (disponibile anche in platino, intercambiabile con fondello dotato di oblò). I pulsanti cronografici si trovano nelle canoniche posizioni al 2 e al 4, mentre quello deputato alla funzione rattrapante è coassiale alla corona di carica. La cassa è in platino 950 ed ha un diametro di 41 millimetri, l’impermeabilità è garantita fino a 3 atmosfere. Il quadrante in oro e smalto nero, riporta anche la scala tachimetrica. Il cinturino è in coccodrillo con chiusura déployante in platino.

Omega Immancabile anticipazione di Spectre, ventiquattresimo capitolo della saga di 007 in uscita a fine 2015, OMEGA ha creato un’edizione limitata del Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m che prende ispirazione dallo stemma della famiglia Bond. Nell’ambito dei progetti di Smart Building di respiro internazionale posso citarvi l’ultima ambiziosa realizzazione per il Pontificial North American College alle pendici del Gianicolo - importante Centro congressuale e di formazione clericale all’interno dello Stato Città del Vaticano - in cui abbiamo ideato e realizzato un’architettura di produzione e postproduzione di contenuti audio/video. Qui oltre a sale di videoconferenza interattive abbiamo dato vita ad un vero e proprio canale tematico nel quale le lezioni impartite dai vari docenti, vengono riprese e condivise in streaming in alta definizione, il tutto gestibile e controllabile da semplici Ipad. Can you tell us about some of the recent corporate projects?

In the context of Smart Building international projects I can cite the latest ambitious project for the Pontificial North American College at the foot of the Gianicolo - an important convention and clerical training center within Vatican City - in which we created and realized a production and post-production architecture for audio/video contents. Here, in addition to interactive videoconference rooms, we installed a proper special-interest channel in which lessons given by the various docents are filmed and shared in high definition streaming, all handled and controlled by simple Ipads. And through these mobile devices, without the need for technical personnel, a real stand alone television station is controlled, able to produce, post-produce and file in a multimedia server audio and video files accessible for viewing and for studying by future American priests.

To remain in the corporate sector, among the more recent projects, I can recall the important technological center, call center and data center realized for the main seat of one of the most important Italian insurance agencies of the wellknown Gruppo Assicurativo Unipol: a crucial hub for the strategic and operating management of tens of thousands of the group’s clients. Office automation systems and technical lighting scenarios alternate based on the different uses of the multi-purpose rooms, which can be transformed from operating open spaces to business training rooms with specific characteristics. With our approach it became a technologically advanced seat indicated as an important case history by the Unipol executives themselves.

Soluzioni di Office Automation e scenari illuminotecnici si alternano in base alla diversa destinazione d’uso degli ambienti polifunzionali i quali si trasformano da open space operativi in aule di formazione commerciale con specifiche caratteristiche. We are able to instill two mindsets in our projects : we are strategic and winning in modern contexts, as in the case of an unusual penthouse “Smart House” recently realized in the Parioli neighborhood with minimalist, essential and contemporary designs amplified by our technological solutions. At the same time also in the case of the impressive renovation of a luxurious historical residence of more than 500 square meters near Piazza di Spagna, in which the classical style, the warmth given off by the wood interiors and the boiseries was enriched and integrated with our high tech solutions skillfully and harmoniously concealed in the principal’s architectural preferences.

Certo, abbiamo realizzato numerosi progetti in tal senso, da un antico rimorchiatore della marina militare inglese degli anni 70 reso navetta di lusso, a prestigiosi mega yacht 50 mt, portando a bordo la Yacht Automation, ossia l’automazione integrata dei sistemi (comunemente chiamata domotica) attraverso la gestione intelligente dei vari dispositivi di bordo, dalla rete dati strutturata alla gestione dei sistemi di sicurezza, di entertainment audio/video alle motorizzazioni nonché alla gestione intelligente di complessi scenari illuminotecnici.

Last but not least, Engineering Solutions is also noted for its ‘Smart Yacht’ project can you tell us what this entails?

Of course, we’ve undertaken numerous projects in this sector, from an old English Navy tug from the 1970’s converted into a luxurious shuttle, to a prestigious 50 meter mega yacht bringing Automation on board the yacht, that is the integrated automation of the systems (commonly called home automation) through the intelligent management of the various devices onboard, from the structured data network to the management of security systems, audio/ video a entertainment to motorization as well as the intelligent management of complex lighting scenarios.

The importance of utilizing an integrated “smart” structure enables the principal and the architectural firm that collaborates with the principal to give the right significance to the terms “optimization” and “effectiveness of resources” where today we can speak of optimization of technological devices; optimization of areas to be sacrificed for the so-called technical areas; energy effectiveness by being able to employ instant management systems for energy peaks; optimization of realization timeframes inasmuch as all the projects proceed as integrated parts of the whole; and last but not least effectiveness in terms of maintenance management over time.

This aspect in fact enables us to constantly monitor, from a remote position, the status of each system in the residence, the building or the boat, if possible acting to resolve the problem comfortably from our chair without having to deal with technical personnel costs sent specifically on site. All of this for the benefit of our client and with respect for the environment; the use of technology should always aim towards these objectives.

In this context we have recently delivered a 43 meter mega yacht from the well-known shipyard Isa Yacht (International Shipyard Ancona) to a ship-owner in Nice, for whom we worked closely with an architectural firm from Paris.

And for the near future, where will we see your company being involved?

To give you a peek, right now we’re delivering an integrated management system for entertainment audio and video and yacht automation for a 50 meter mega yacht in a Spanish boatyard, whose ship-owner resides in Dubai. In addition, we’ve presented our system of yacht management to one of the most, if not the most important Italian shipyards, of which we are proud in Italy and abroad, for

LA TERRAZZA DELLE STAR Sarà per la vista su Roma, meravigliosa. Sarà per il servizio, eccellente. Sarà per la bravura dello chef stellato, Fabio Ciervo, e della brigata di cucina. Fatto sta che il ristorante al 6° piano dell’hotel Eden (dorchestercollection.com), a due passi da piazza di Spagna, è da sempre ritrovo preferito da attori, scrittori, modelle e celebrities. Qualche nome? Madonna (la più capricciosa, non si mette mai a tavola con i due figli), Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Leonardo di Caprio, Fanny Ardant (che classe, dicono tutti di lei), Matt Damon, Robert de Niro, Sophia Loren... E tantissimi altri bei nomi di Hollywood e dintorni, affascinati dal panorama a 360° e da un menù che esprime il meglio dell’italian food con suggestioni campane. A cominciare dai fiori di zucca al forno con ricotta, taleggio, olive nere e pomodorini pachino; per passare alla calamarata con molluschi, indivia caramellata, kumquat siciliano e salsa di Chartreuse verde, e finire con un inedito tiramisù, da ricordare.

Per chi invece sceglie la terrazza per un aperitivo al tramonto, la scelta giusta è il cocktail Martini alla maniera di Fellini: preparato con arte, mescolato e non agitato. Forse anche James Bond all’Eden si potrebbe ricredere...

Con Paul Gauguin (1848-1903), la Fondation Beyeler presenta uno degli artisti più importanti e affascinanti della storia. Possiamo definirlo uno dei grandi eventi culturali europei del 2015, la mostra alla Fondation Beyeler riunisce oltre cinquanta capolavori di Gauguin dai principali musei internazionali e da collezioni private, l'esposizione più corposa di capolavori di questo innovativo artista francese che si tiene in Svizzera da almeno 60 anni; l'ultima grande retrospettiva in paesi vicini risale a circa dieci anni fa. Ci sono voluti ben sei anni di lavoro, è il progetto espositivo più elaborato della storia della Fondation Beyeler. Il museo attende infatti un numero record di visitatori.

La mostra presenta molteplici autoritratti di Gauguin visionario, dipinti spirituali del suo periodo in Bretagna, ma si concentra soprattutto sui dipinti di fama mondiale che ha realizzato a Tahiti. In essi, l'artista celebra il suo ideale di mondo esotico incontaminato, coniugando armoniosamente natura e cultura, misticismo ed erotismo, sogno e realtà.

Oltre ai dipinti, la mostra comprende una selezione di sculture enigmatiche di Gauguin che evocano l'arte dei mari del sud, allora già in gran parte scomparsa.

Non c'è museo d'arte al mondo dedicato esclusivamente al lavoro di Gauguin, così i preziosi pezzi provengono da 13 paesi: Svizzera, Germania, Francia, Spagna, Belgio, Gran Bretagna (Inghilterra e Scozia), Danimarca, Ungheria, Norvegia, Repubblica ceca , Russia, Stati Uniti e Canada.

The exhibition features Gauguin’s multifaceted self-portraits as well as the visionary, spiritual paintings from his time in Brittany, but it mainly focuses on the world-famous paintings he created in Tahiti. In them, the artist celebrates his ideal of an unspoilt exotic world, harmoniously combining nature and culture, mysticism and eroticism, dream and reality.

In addition to paintings, the exhibition includes a selection of Gauguin’s enigmatic sculptures that evoke the art of the South Seas that had by then already largely vanished.

There is no art museum in the world exclusively devoted to Gauguin’s work, so the precious loans come from 13 countries: Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Great Britain (England and Scotland), Denmark, Hungary, Norway, the Czech Republic, Russia, the Unites States and Canada.

Works are being loaned by the most important Gauguin collections in the world, including prestigious institutions such as the Musée d’Orsay, Paris; the Art Institute of Chicago; the Musées Royaux des Beaux Arts de Belgique, Brussels; the National Gallery of Scotland, Edinburgh; the Museum Folkwang, Essen; the Gemäldegalerie Neuer Meister der Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen Dresden; the Wallraf- RichartzMuseum, Cologne; the Tate in London; the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid; the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the National Gallery in Prague. Gauguin’s remarkable creations tell of his quest for a lost paradise on earth, of his dramatic history as an artist who moved between different cultures during a life marked by passion and adventure.

No artist travelled as far and as adventurously in search of himself and a new kind of art as did Paul Gauguin. As a sailor in the merchant navy who travelled the world following his childhood in Peru, as a stockbroker and Bohemian in late 19th century Paris, as the friend and supporter of the Impressionists, as a member of the artists’ commune in Pont-Aven in Brittany, as Van Gogh’s housemate in Arles, with his unquenchable yearning for an island of the blessed, which he hoped to find in Tahiti and as a hermit on the Marquesas Islands, Gauguin became one of the first modern nomads and art’s first dropout critical of civilisation. He endowed modern art with a new kind of sensuousness, exoticism, naturalness, and freedom.

For the first time, there is a multimedia space in which visitors can explore the artist’s biography and main aspects of his work. The multimedia space has been developed in cooperation with the Fondation Beyeler by iart.

FOCUS PMI 2015 Il valore economico della legalità ALLA BORSA DI MILANO IL CONVEGNO ANNUALE DELLA LS LEXUSSINACTA QUEST’ANNO INCENTRATO SU UN TEMA SCOTTANTE E DI ESTREMA ATTUALITÀ

In questo complicato momento storico italiano, in cui la crisi imperversa su tutti ed a farne le maggiori spese sono le piccole e medie imprese, un focus ad esse dedicato prende spunto dalle argomentazioni ad esse intrinseche per sviscerarne le varie sfaccettature e proporre delle soluzioni per una nuova ripartenza. È questo l’obiettivo per il quale da alcuni anni si concentra lo Studio LS Lexjus Sinacta, chiamando una volta all’anno a rapporto i principali esponenti del settore - davanti e dietro le quinte delle PMI - per approfondire le tematiche di un discorso complesso, a partire dalle ricerche di mercato e dati statistici esclusivi lanciati appositamente in tale occasione dall’Istituto Guglielmo Tagliacarne, fondazione di Unioncamere per la promozione della cultura economica.

Quest’anno il Focus PMI si svolgerà il 14 maggio a Palazzo Mezzanotte, storica sede della Borsa a Milano. Abbiamo chiesto rispettivamente all’avv. Franco Casarano, coordinatore nazionale di LS, e a Corrado Martone, responsabile studi settoriali dell’Istituto Tagliacarne, di illustrare l’oggetto e il metodo di ricerca inerente a questa iniziativa.

FOCUS PMI 2015 THE ECONOMIC VALUE OF LEGALITY The LS LexusSinacta annual meeting held at the Milan Stock Exchange this year centered on an important current subject In this complicated historical time for Italy, in which the crisis affects everyone and too often the ones who suffer the most are the small- and medium-size businesses, attention dedicated to them is sparked by the questions that are intrinsic to same in order to dissect the various aspects and propose solutions for a new start. This is the objective towards which LS LexjusSinacta is concentrated, once a year calling together the principal leaders in the sector - both before and behind the scenes of the small- and medium-size businesses - to analyze a complex situation, starting from market research and exclusive statistical data launched specifically for this occasion by theIstituto Guglielmo Tagliacarne, a foundation of Unioncamerefor the promotion of economic culture.

This year the Focus PMI will take place on May 14 at Palazzo Mezzanotte,historical seat of the Stock Exchange in Milan. We asked Avv.Franco Casarano, National Coordinator of LS, and Dr. CorradoMartone, head of sectorial studies with the Istituto Tagliacarne,to illustrate the subject and the research method inherent in this initiative.

Avv. Casarano, quali sono state le motivazioni nell’impegno di creare un vero e proprio osservatorio sulle piccole e medie imprese?

LS Lexjus Sinacta è uno studio, formato da avvocati e commercialisti, che è diffuso su base nazionale (nove sedi in tutto) e che è profondamente radicato con il territorio.

Ogni sede è una realtà professionale sorta sul territorio di riferimento, integrata geneticamente con la società e con il mondo imprenditoriale che in quel territorio opera. Si vivono quotidianamente i problemi dei nostri clienti, che appartengono a quel tessuto produttivo che in Italia è costituito per la quasi totalità da piccole e medie imprese: da qui è nata la determinazione di favorire e promuovere un momento di studio e di confronto sulle tematiche di maggiore attualità per il mondo delle PMI, senza protagonismi, ma riservando allo studio il ruolo di promotore dello sviluppo della cultura d’impresa, di cui riteniamo di essere portatori.

Il Focus è giunto alla sua quinta edizione, affrontando anche quest’anno un tema molto attuale e certamente impegnativo: “Il valore economico della legalità”. Qual è stato il percorso tematico compiuto fino adesso?

La scelta dei temi che sono stati trattati nelle varie edizioni di Focus PMI corrisponde ad un percorso condiviso con l’IstitutoTagliacarne, al quale sono state affidate le attività di ricerca. I temi che abbiamo affrontato di volta in volta sono quelli che costituiscono i passaggi ineludibili per consentire alle piccole e medie imprese italiane di affrontare la sfida del mercato globale. Ci siamo occupati nel 2011 dei necessari processi di aggregazione tra le imprese, anche mediante l’utilizzazione dei contratti di rete, introdotti dal legislatore italiano in attuazione delle linee indicate dall’Unione Europea con lo “Small BusinessAct” del 2008. Abbiamo poi affrontato nel 2012 il tema dei processi di internazionalizzazione delle PMI e delle difficoltà e opportunità collegate e conseguenti a tali processi. Nel 2013 abbiamo dedicato l’incontro alle difficoltà di accesso al credito e delle possibilità alternative per ottenere un rafforzamento della proprie struttura finanziaria, mentre l’anno successivo abbiamo dedicato la ricerca ed il correlato dibattito all’innovazione, quale presupposto indispensabile per garantire la crescita delle piccole e medie imprese italiane.

Non poteva mancare, nel 2015, una riflessione sul tema della legalità, intesa non tanto quale necessità conseguente agli effetti deterrenti di un sistema sanzionatorio, ma come valore economico dell’impresa da preservare e tutelare per garantirne la crescita in un sistema che, solo nella legalità, può offrire prospettive a tutti. La scelta di quest’anno, dunque, si colloca in un momento di rilancio del paese Italia, e pone il tema della legalità e dell’etica d’impresa al centro di un auspicato nuovo “rinascimento”.

Avv. Casarano, what were the reasons behind the decision to create a true and proper observatory on smalland medium-size businesses?

LS Lexjus Sinacta is a firm of lawyers and accountants, which has spread domestically (a total of nine offices) and which is deeply rooted in Italy. Each office is a professional reality based on the location, genetically integrated with the local society and with the context of entrepreneurs in which it works.Each office experiences the daily problems of our clients, who belong to the production fabric that in Italy is almost wholly composed of small- and medium-sized businesses: hence the determination to encourage and promote an analysis and discussion of the most current subjects for the PMI world,without boasting, but conferring the firm with the role of promoter of the development of entrepreneurial culture, of which we hold ourselves to be endowed.

Dott. Martone, come si sposa l’analisi statistica alla non facilmente numerabile presenza di casi illegali nelle piccole e medie imprese?

L’illegalità in tutte le sue articolate forme (corruzione, burocrazia illegale, contraffazione, riciclaggio, usura e racket, lavoro nero, ecc.) altera le regole dell’economia e del mercato e riduce i potenziali di crescita del territorio e delle imprese ivi presenti. Come per le passate edizioni, le analisi sviluppate nella ricerca non si sono limitate solo alla valutazione delle risultanze dell’indagine condotta presso un campione di PMI italiane ma si sono combinate con la disamina di dati e informazioni statistiche territoriali di fonte ufficiale inerenti al tema scelto.

Nello specifico, la ricerca ha preso le mosse da una analisi descrittiva dei dati sulla delittuosità di fonte Istat/Ministero dell’Interno/Ministero della Giustizia e sulle difficoltà delle imprese in termini di gestione aziendale (protesti, fallimenti e accesso al credito).

Successivamente, tramite l’utilizzo di appropriate metodologie statistiche di queste (e di altre) informazioni già disponibili a livello territoriale, si è pervenuti alla realizzazione di indicatori tesi a misurare lo stato di vulnerabilità degli operatori socio-economici presenti sul territorio nazionale (essenzialmente famiglie e imprese), evidenziando non solo le problematiche connesse ai singoli territori ma quelle derivanti dall’essere geograficamente vicini ad aree ad elevato impatto di criminalità. A queste analisi di tipo desk o strutturale si sono affiancate infine le valutazioni che gli analisti dell’Istituto hanno effettuato a partire dalle risultanze dell’indagine condotta su 1.150 PMI italiane dei settori industria, commercio e servizi intervistate in merito alla percezione di legalità, trasparenza e sicurezza nel proprio contesto operativo, come pure sugli ambiti di attività illegali più diffusi.

Avv. Casarano, come sarà strutturato il Focus?

Il Convegno sarà suddiviso in due sezioni di analisi che rispettivamente analizzeranno la vulnerabilità dei territori e della diffusione della criminalità organizzata di tipo e la percezione dell’illegalità nelle PMI italiane. Nella stessa giornata il Focus ospiterà numerosi esponenti del mondo economico, politico ed istituzionale italiano e riunirà circa 250 imprenditori italiani selezionati per un confronto sul tema: tragli altri, abbiamo appreso con piacere l’adesione di Livia Pomodoro (Presidente del Tribunale di Milano), Claudio DeAlbertis (Presidente Assimpredil Ance), Domenico De Angelis (Direttore Generale Banco Popolare) e Rossella Orlandi (Direttore Agenzia delle Entrate) su interventi legati alle materie a loro pertinenti.

Quali le novità di quest’anno?

La partecipazione all’evento - aperta al pubblico con prenotazione obbligatoria - prevede, per la prima volta, un’originale forma di scambio interattivo tra i convenuti (panelist e pubblico) tramite sistema di live twitting su schermo multimediale, necessario adeguamento alle esigenze di un’utenza oramai sottoposta quotidianamente alla notizia in real time, con la possibilità di interazione, critica o smentita con la stessa fonte di informazione.

This is the fifth edition of the Focus, this year too concerned with a very current and certainly tough subject: “The economic value of legality”. What steps have been taken thus far?

The choice of the subjects discussed in the various editions ofFocus PMI corresponds to a shared path with the IstitutoTagliacarne, to which the research activities were assigned. The subjects that we covered were those that constitute the inevitable steps to allow the small- and medium-size businesses in Italy to meet the challenges of the global market.

In 2011 we covered the procedures required for aggregation among the businesses, also through the use of network contracts, introduced by Italian lawmakers to implement the guidelines indicated by the European Union with the “Small BusinessAct” of 2008. In 2012 we then covered the subject of the internationalization procedures for the PMI and the difficulties and opportunities connected to and resulting from said procedures. In 2013 we dedicated the meeting to the difficulties in accessing credit and the alternative possibilities to obtain a strengthening of an entrepreneur’s financial structure, while the following year we dedicated the research and the relative debate to innovation, as an indispensable condition to guarantee the growth of the small- and medium-sized Italian businesses. For 2015 we couldn’t fail to include a reflection on the subject of legality, intended not so much as a necessity arising from the effects of a penalty system, but as an economic value of a business to preserve and protect to guarantee the growth in a system which, only in legality, can offer opportunities for all.This year’s choice, consequently, fits into this time of hesitant growth for Italy, and places the subject of legality and business ethics at the center of a hoped-for “renaissance”.

Dr. Martone, how does a statistical analysis compare with the not easily ascertainable presence of illegal cases in small- and medium-sized businesses?

Illegality in all its aspects (corruption, illegal bureaucracy,imitations, recycling, usury and racketeering, work without contracts, etc.) alters the rules of economy and the market and reduces the potential for growth in the territory and the for the businesses that operate there. As in previous editions, the analyses developed in the research are not limited to a mere evaluation of the results of the survey conducted on a random sampling of Italian PMIs but are combined with an examination of territorial data and statistical information from official sources relating to the chosen subject.

In the specific, the research began with a descriptive analysis of the data available on crime from ISTAT/Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Justice and on the difficulties encountered by businesses in terms of business management(failure to meet payments, bankruptcy and access to credit).Subsequently, through the use of statistical methodologies of this and other information previously available on a territorial level, indicators were developed intended to measure the status of vulnerability of the socio-economic operators present domestically (essentially families and businesses), highlighting not only the problems connected to the individual territories but also those deriving from being geographically close to areas with a high level of criminality. To these desk or structural analyses were then added the evaluations that the analysts from the Istituto carried out starting from the survey conducted on 1,150 Italian PMIs in the industrial, commerce and service sectors who were interviewed with respect to the perception of legality, transparency and security in their operating context, as in the contexts of the more widespread illegal activities.

Avv. Casarano, how will the Focus be structured?

The convention will be divided in two sections of analyses that respectively will cover the vulnerability of the territories and the spreading of organized crime and the perception of illegalityin Italian PMIs. On that same day the Focus will welcome numerous leaders from the economic, political and institutional sectors and will include approximately 250 selected Italian entrepreneurs for an update on the subject: among others, we noted with pleasure that Livia Pomodoro (President of the Tribunal of Milan), Claudio DeAlbertis (President AssimpredilAnce), Domenico De Angelis (Managing Director BancoPopolare) and Rossella Orlandi (Director of the Revenue Office) will speak on matters linked to their fields of expertise.

This year’s innovations?

Participation in the event - open to the general public through an obligatory booking - for the first time calls for an interactiveexchange among participants (panelists and public) through live twitting on a multi-media screen, a necessary adaptation to the needs of users subjected on a daily basis to news in real time,with the opportunity to interact, criticize or refute with the same information source.
