L’importanza del colore Una ricerca dell’Università di Winnipeg ha dimostrato che un consumatore medio impiega meno di 90 secondi per emettere un giudizio sul valore di un brand o di un prodotto: in questo rapidissimo processo l’influenza del colore conta dal 62 al 90%.

La classifica dei colori più usati dai cento brand più popolari al mondo vede, nell’ordine, l’impiego del blu nel 33% dei casi, il rosso per il 29%, il nero per il 28% e il giallo per il 13%.

Il blu è il simbolo della calma, della serenità, dell'equilibrio.

Il rosso è il colore che cattura l'attenzione, accelera il metabolismo, fa aumentare la pressione e il battito cardiaco.

Pare che faccia crescere l'appetito e spinga a mangiare più velocemente. Infatti, l’arredo e il packaging di molti fast food è di questo colore. Indossato dalle donne, ne aumenta il sex appeal: una recente ricerca svolta su 272 clienti di ristoranti (di sesso maschile) ha dimostrato che venivano elargite tra il 15% e il 26% di mance in più alle cameriere vestite di rosso.

Il nero, il bianco e il grigio sono tipici delle griffes delle eccellenze italiane della moda, come Armani, Gucci, Versace, Dolce &Gabbana. Il giallo e l’arancione sono colori che stimolano vitalità, ottimismo e allegria. Il verde è il colore ideale per un riferimento alla calma, alla freschezza, alla natura e al rispetto dell’ambiente. In qualche caso l’utilizzo eccessivo del verde è sospetto: viene infatti definito greenwashing, una strategia di comunicazione attuata daalcune organizzazioni (poco etiche) che passano una mano di verde su tutto, dal packaging agli stabilimenti, quasi una specie di lavaggio purificatore finalizzato a costruire un'immagine ingannevolmente positiva sotto il profilo dell'impatto ambientale.

In realtà uno sviluppo compatibile che salvaguardi le risorse esistenti dovrebbe essere la vera preoccupazione di ogni sano brand, indipendentemente dal suo colore sociale: il verde non deve essere solo una vernice coprente. Deve essere un orientamento mentale.

THE IMPORTANCE OF COLOR Research conducted by the University of Winnipeg demonstrated that the average consumer takes less than ninety seconds to express an opinion on the value of a brand or a product: in this quick process color influences the process between 62% to 90%.

The classification of the most used colors by the one hundred most popular brands in the world shows, in order, the use of blue in 33% of the cases, red in 29%, black in 28% and yellow in 13%.

It seems that it increases one’s appetite and induces one to eat more quickly. In fact, the furnishings and packaging of many fast food operations are this color. Worn by women, it increases sex appeal: a recent study conducted on 272 restaurant clients (men) demonstrated that they gave between 15% and 26% more in tips to waitresses who wore red.

Black, white and grey are typical of the most famous Italian fashion brands, such as Armani, Gucci, Versace, Dolce &Gabbana. Yellow and orange are colors that stimulate vitality, optimism and cheerfulness. Green is the ideal color for a reference to calm, freshness, nature and respect for the environment. In some cases the excessive use of green is suspicious: in fact it is defined as greenwashing, a communication strategy implemented by certain organizations (not very ethical) that paint a layer of green on everything, from the packaging to the factories, sort of a purifying washing aimed at constructing a misleading positive image under the profile of environmental impact.

In effect a compatible development that safeguards existing resources should be the true concern of any healthy brand, notwithstanding its social color: green should not be just a covering layer. It should be a mental orientation.

L’iniziativa, giunta alla sua 22esima edizione, è promossa dal COMITATO LEONARDO Italian Quality Committee - nato nel 1993 dall’idea comune del Sen. Sergio Pininfarina e del Sen. Gianni Agnelli, di Confindustria, dell’ICE e di un gruppo di imprenditori con l’obiettivo di diffondere e rafforzare l’immagine di eccellenza dell’Italia nel mondo.

“Anche quest’anno il Comitato ha premiato aziende che rappresentano l’eccellenza del made in Italy, accomunate da qualità del prodotto, capacità di innovare e da una forte presenza sui mercati internazionali” ha dichiarato Luisa Todini, Presidente del Comitato Leonardo. “L’export - ha ribadito- si conferma un asset strategico per la nostra economia, i dati positivi relativi al 2016 dimostrano che la richiesta di made in Italy continua ad essere forte nel mondo e supportata da un tessuto industriale solido. Nel 2016 le aziende del Comitato Leonardo hanno raggiunto un fatturato complessivo di 350 miliardi di euro, con una quota di export del 54%. Il Sistema Paese è sempre più attrattivo nei confronti degli investimenti esteri e questo è un fatto positivo: quando avvengono nel rispetto delle regole e con l’intento di creare sviluppo ed occupazione, gli IDE sono infatti i benvenuti. L’Italia è il miglior hub naturale per servizi e logistica, dobbiamo liberare investimenti per far sì che le nostre risorse naturali vengano capitalizzate e siano leva di crescita e non di rimpianti”.

LUXURY NEWS GOURMET / by Gianni Mercatali - photo by Lido Vannucchi STORIA ‘GUSTOSA’ DI UNA FAMIGLIA TOSCANA Era il 1966 quando Romano Franceschini aprì a Viareggio il suo ristorante insieme alla moglie Franca Checchi. Lui aveva 22 anni e stava in sala, lei solo 16 e governava la cucina. La città era al massimo del suo splendore, capitale delle vacanze del boom economico. Franca studia, fa corsi, gira con il marito. Sa tutto del pesce, da brava cuoca viareggina, ma frequenta i migliori chef del mondo. Nel 1985 arriva il primo grande riconoscimento con la stella Michelin che, dopo trent’anni, mantiene ancora. In quei giorni Carlo Petrini e Stefano Bonilli fanno nascere da ROMANO - e lo confermerà in un articolo Petrini - il manifesto di Arcigola che poi diventerà Slow Food e Gambero Rosso.

La guida del Gambero gli assegnerà nel 2004 le Tre Forchette, simbolo dell’eccellenza. E di Romano e Franca parleranno un po’ tutti i grandi del giornalismo enogastronomico, ma non solo. Negli anni ‘80 la Guida dell’Espresso farà recensire Romano da Gault&Millau, i mitici critici francesi inventori della nouvelle cuisine. Fin qui la critica, ma grande è il successo di pubblico. Da oltre trent’anni la maison non può togliere dalla carta piatti come i calamaretti ripieni di crostacei e verdure, che è poi il piatto simbolo del ristorante, o le mazzancolle al miele coi carciofi fritti.

THE “TASTY” STORY OF A TUSCAN FAMILY It was 1966 when Romano Franceschini opened his restaurant in Viareggio with his wife Franca Checchi. He was 22 and handled customers, she was just 16 and ruled the kitchen. The city was at the height of its splendor, the vacation capital of the economic boom. Franca studies, attends courses, tours with her husband. She knows everything about fish, like a good cook from Viareggio, but she frequents the best chefs in the world.

The first important recognition arrives in 1985 with the Michelin star which, thirty years later, is still there. At that time Carlo Petrini and Stefano Bonilli open da ROMANO - and as Petrini stated in an article - the manifest for Arcigola which will later become Slow Food and Gambero Rosso. In 2004 the Gambero guide book will award him Three Forks, the sign of excellence. And just about all the famous names related to enogastronomy journalism will talk about Romano and Franca. In the 1980’s the Espresso Guide will have Romano reviewed by Gault&Millau, the legendary French critics who invented nouvelle cuisine. So much for critics, but the public decreed the greatest success. For more than thirty years the restaurant cannot do without certain dishes such as squid stuffed with shell fish and vegetables, which also happens to be the restaurant’s iconic dish, or honeyed prawns with fried artichokes.

Oggi Franca è affiancata da tre giovani che l’aiutano, nella tradizione, a mantenere contemporanea la sua proposta gastronomica. Wine Spectator inserisce la cantina del ristorante fra le migliori del mondo. A coordinare la carta dei vini c’è ora il figlio Roberto dopo un’esperienza a New York al mitico Le Cirque di Sirio Maccioni. Oggi la carta, che viene aggiornata ogni mese, offre una selezione di circa 1300 differenti etichette, molte delle quali di diverse annate.

C’è poi un’importante carta dei distillati che racchiude tesori di cui alcuni attualmente introvabili. Romano e Franca hanno servito migliaia e migliaia di clienti, dai vip ai semplici appassionati. Da chi cercava una serata intima a chi doveva festeggiare il varo di una nave.

Today Franca is assisted by three youngsters, following tradition, to maintain her gastronomic offerings contemporary. Wine Spectator includes the restaurant’s wine list among the best in the world. Coordinating the wine list now is their son Roberto, following some experience in New York at Sirio Maccioni’s legendary Le Cirque. Today the menu, which is updated each month, offers a selection of approximately 1,300 different labels, many of which from different years.

There is also a considerable spirits list that encompasses a number of treasures that are no longer available.

Romano and Franca have served many thousands of clients, from VIPs to simple enthusiasts. From those who wanted an intimate evening to those who wanted to celebrate the launching of a ship.

CARTA È IL LUSSO PAPER IS OUR LUXURY

“L’avevano data per morta e invece sta vivendo una rinascita. Perché nell’era del sovraccarico informativo la pagina stampata aiuta a darci chiarezza, a farci uscire dal caos e a comprendere più lucidamente la realtà”. Sono le parole dei colleghi de L’Espresso che hanno pubblicato di recente uno speciale sulla vittoria della carta stampata a scapito del web ed e-book.

“Everyone thought it was done for and instead it’s come back like never before. Because in the age of too much information, a printed page helps to clarify things, to help us out of chaos and to more clearly understand reality”. These are the words of colleagues from L’Espresso who recently published a special on the victory of printed paper over the web and e-books.

“Era solo questione di tempo - spiega Massimiliano Di Stefano, Direttore Creativo di Luxury files - malgrado i segnali andassero in tutt’altra direzione abbiamo puntato sulla rivista cartacea, è da sempre il nostro segno distintivo, sapevamo che prima o poi ci sarebbe stata un’inversione di tendenza con il ritorno generale della carta”.

Infatti nell’ultimo decennio c’è stato un boom di riviste online, che hanno cercato di celare difficoltà oggettive dietro il cavalcare la nuova tendenza, il futuro: il web, una panacea per tutti i mali?

Ma ora chi è davvero solido torna in tipografia, lo richiedono i lettori.

But now those who are truly consolidated are back in the print shop, readers demand it.

Online is a jungle, one of the many contemporary bubbles, parabolas with their rapid path.

Information at the time of social media certainly cannot ignore the digital platforms but reading and quick information are very different from browsing and assimilating a paper page.

Scientific studies have confirmed that touch contributes to memorizing and comprehending a text. Consequently, the future is no doubt with paper.

It’s no surprise that the Silicon Valley super managers, who are always a bit ahead of everyone else, have already begun to enroll their own children in schools that only use dear old notebooks, pens and pencils and where tablets or computers are not allowed.

L’online è una giungla, una delle tante bolle contemporanee, parabole con il loro veloce corso.

L’informazione ai tempi dei social certo non può non considerare le piattaforme digitali ma la lettura e informazione veloce è ben diversa dallo sfogliare e assimilare una pagina di carta.

Studi scientifici hanno confermato che il tatto contribuisce alla memorizzazione e comprensione di un testo.

Dunque il futuro è di carta, non c’è dubbio.

Non a caso i super manager della Silicon Valley che sono sempre un po’ avanti, hanno già iniziato da tempo a far frequentare scuole ai propri figli dove si usano solo i cari vecchi quaderni, penne e matite e dove non entrano per nulla tablet o computer.

Evviva la controtendenza dunque.

Orgoglioso di essere nato cartaceo 16 anni fa, Luxury files magazine, è ancor più fiero di aver scelto strenuamente di rimanere ‘di carta’, continuerà questa battaglia moderna a suon di fogli. Il profumo delle parole stampate è un’altra cosa, fa parte della nostra etica e del nostro DNA. La carta è un lusso a cui non dobbiamo rinunciare.

Spegnere ogni device e terminare la giornata leggendo un buon libro, un romanzo o un noir che sia fa bene.

Raccontare una fiaba di carta ai nostri figli rimane una gioia imparagonabile che fa bene, non ha controindicazioni, semmai ci allungherà un po’ la vita!

Negli USA i lettori di e-book hanno raggiunto il 20% del mercato ma poi è iniziato il crollo. Il libro tradizionale, stampato e rilegato ha di nuovo la meglio, non c’è storia.

Turn off all devices and end the day reading a good book, a novel or a mystery story is good for us.

I processi comunicazionali delle imprese internazionali sono sempre più multiculturali e interculturali, dando vita ad un ambiente complesso e interconnesso. Le tematiche collegate alla interculturalità delle attività manageriali stanno acquisendo rilevanza anche in termini di studi di etica d’impresa. Le aziende con forte vocazione internazionale hanno compreso l’importanza di modificare o adattare i loro approcci al fine di competere con successo in mercati che non sono più vincolati dalla distanza geografica e che, quindi, aprono l’operato dell’impresa verso culture ancora poco conosciute. Di conseguenza, la prospettiva del cross-cultural management, orientata a valutare l’impatto delle differenze culturali in un contesto di global business, acquista una rilevanza peculiare e, allo stesso tempo, è chiamata a rispondere a nuovi interrogativi dettati dal dinamismo multiculturale.

I manager avvertono la necessità di approfondire la conoscenza dell’ambiente sociale, politico e morale dei contesti culturali con cui entrano in contatto. La cultural sensitivity promossa e applicata da un’organizzazione è uno step necessario, ma non può essere considerata un punto di arrivo. La considerazione delle implicazioni etiche dell’operare in un contesto interculturale dovrebbe essere intesa in termini di arricchimento e riformulazione dei valori e dei benefici comuni conseguibili. Un impulso a migliori condizioni di scambio e a cambiamenti strutturali nelle filiere di produzione e distribuzione, ormai definitivamente globalizzate, fa sì che l’apprezzamento ricevuto dai clienti, ad esempio in termini di acquisti responsabili, attivi un processo virtuoso di promozione della protezione delle condizioni di lavoratori e/o dei produttori che su scala globale costituiscono la global supply chain dell’impresa.

Communication procedures in international companies are increasingly multi-cultural and intercultural, thus creating a complex and interconnected context. The subjects connected to the inter-culture of managerial activities are acquiring importance also in terms of studies on business ethics. Businesses with a strong international vocation have understood the importance of modifying or adapting their approaches in order to successfully compete in markets that are no longer restricted by geographic distance and which, therefore, open themselves towards still littleknown cultures. Consequently, the prospective of crosscultural management, oriented to evaluating the impact of cultural differences in a global business context, acquires a peculiar significance and, at the same time, is called upon to respond to new questions dictated by multicultural dynamism. Managers feel the need to analyze the knowledge of the social, political and moral context of the cultural environments with which they come into contact. Cultural sensitivity promoted and applied by an organization is a necessary step, but it may be considered an arrival point.

The consideration of the ethical implications in operating in an intercultural context should be understood in terms of enrichment and reformulation of the common values and benefits obtainable. An impulse for better exchange conditions and structural changes in production supply chains, now definitively globalized, ensures that the approval received from clients, for example in terms of responsible acquisitions, activates a virtual process of promotion of the protection of workers’ conditions and/or of the producers who on a global scale constitute the company’s global supply chain.

Un’atmosfera sofisticata ed esclusiva per un evento riservato a selezionatissimi ospiti TOP, si è svolto lo scorso 7 marzo presso la suggestiva Gazebo Lounge del noto hotel Diana Majestic, un simbolo per Milano e i milanesi. Dagli storici bagni di Diana a luogo davvero cool e creativo, vivace ed innovativo per eventi, mostre d’arte, aperitivi o lanci moda.

This time, the setting is one of the most charming gardens in Milan and a glorious early spring day: the Love Cocktail organized by Luxury files magazine was an elegant success.

A sophisticated and exclusive setting for an event open to a few very select TOP guests, the Love Cocktail took place last March 7 at the incredible Gazebo Lounge in the well-known Hotel Diana Majestic, a symbol for Milan and the Milanese.

From the legendary baths of Diana to a very cool and creative location, vivacious and innovative for events, art shows, cocktails or fashion shows.

The guests walked through a sensorial experience amidst gourmet delights and sweet temptations. In additon, to complete the experience, an olfactory path amidst the luxury artistic fragrances from the well-known brand, Amouage: from Lilac Love with its sensual lilac nuance, perfect for the evening, to discovering the latest Bracken Woman, the brand’s latest for this spring.

Food &Beverage Manager Sebastiano Pira and his team enthused everyone with the cruditè and a ‘wellness Aperitif ’ together with the sinuous notes of smoked Calvisius Caviar salmon and sturgeon, Italian excellence that although it originated in the Brescia area, it has become known all over the world for the breeding, production and exportation of caviar.

Attraverso le parole del General Manager Giovanni Cellerino è comprensibile che questo sarà un anno di grandi ed importanti novità al DIANA MAJESTIC. Il 9 maggio è una data importante, la consueta ed attesissima riapertura del Giardino del Diana, una storica tradizione ed un simbolo per Milano. Questo appuntamento annuale segna davvero l’arrivo della bella stagione meneghina, un grand opening con oltre duemila invitati che si ritrovano in questo storico scenario per celebrare l’arrivo della primavera.

Tra le novità del 2017 ci sarà un nuovo allestimento by Baxter che si ispirerà all’originale mood ‘a casa di un collezionista’.

Through the words of General Manager Giovanni Cellerino it’s understandable that this will be a year of great new things for the DIANA MAJESTIC. May 9 is an important date, the customary and much-awaited reopening of the Giardino del Diana, a legendary tradition and symbol of Milan. This annual date truly marks the arrival of nice weather in Milan, a grand opening with more than two thousand guests who will come together in this historic location to celebrate the arrival of spring.

2017 brings a new set-up by Baxter who was inspired by the original mood ‘the home of a collector’.

Numerous exhibitions are planned and in particular much space will be given to young artists, to emerging talents and contemporary artists who periodically can display their art in the bright and creative rooms at the Diana.

Tuesday evenings there’s the usual DJ set, a must for after-work in Milan but there are many more events to discover.

Inoltre l’Executive Chef Paolo Croce ha realizzato un riso carnaroli mantecato con il burro al Caviale Calvisius spolverato con il Lingotto Calvisius, ottenuto con una peculiare tecnica di stagionatura ed asciugatura che permette di mantenere tutta la fragranza del caviale ampliandone le possibilità di utilizzo. Il gusto del Lingotto Calvisius risulta infatti essere deciso e ideale per la realizzazione dei piatti più raffinati e creativi, potendolo grattugiare finemente o a grana grossa oppure tagliandolo in fettine sottili. Fra i suoi innumerevoli utilizzi, oltre con le uova o il risotto, particolarmente sfizioso risulta abbinato al puree di patate oppure ad una vellutata di zucca.

Il percorso nel gusto delle eccellenze Made in Italy è proseguito con l’assaggio in anteprima della Speciale Colomba alla Camomilla e Limone ideata dal noto chef vicentino Dario Loison, che con Loison - Pasticceri dal 1938 - può dirsi oggi un ambasciatore dell’Alta pasticceria Italiana nel mondo.

Gli ospiti hanno anche potuto apprezzare la collezione di biscotteria plurisensoriale Loison da ‘meditazione’ nelle raffinate lattine artistiche by Sonia Design.

In addition, Executive Chef Paolo Croce prepared carnaroli rice blended with Calvisius Caviar butter sprinkled with Lingotto Calvisius, obtained from a special aging and drying technique that maintains all the fragrance of the caviar while amplifying its usage. The Lingotto Calvisius has a rather decisive taste and is ideal for the more refined and creative dishes, as it can be coarsely or finely grated or even sliced thinly. Among its numerous uses, in addition to eggs or rice, it is particularly tasty when served with mashed potatoes or cream of pumpkin soup.

The evening continued with other Made in Italy excellences and the first-ever tasing of the special Colomba alla Camomilla e Limone (Easter cake with chamomile and lemon) created by well-known chef from Vicenza Dario Loison, who together with Loison - Pasticceri from 1938, can today call himself an ambassador of fine Italian pastry making in the world.

Guests also apprecieated tasting the Loison multi-sensorial “meditation” biscuit collection in the elegant artistic tins by Sonia Design.

Last but not least, Rizzati chocolate, icon of Italian organic chocolate, historical candy-making company, today certified organic for the entire production and strictly “palm oil free” too. With five single-brand stores in Italy, from Ferrara, to Rimini, Cortina, Roma and now opening as well in Milan, they are truly delicious chocolate boutiques.

Guests nibbled on Rizzati pralines and the famous ‘Tenerina’, a typical sweet from Ferrara, a triumph of chocolate with the chef ’s addition of plump red strawberries.

Expert Sommelier Vinicio Biancuzzi captivated everyone with his telling about the special story of the La Tognazza wines and guided the guests in tasting the white ‘Tapioco’ with its many qualities.

And there was also a sip of other labels in the Amici Miei line (Tapioco, ComeSeFosse and Antani), as well as the new La Tenuta line, composed of the white 69 and the red Casa Vecchia, presented recently by histrionic Gian Marco Tognazzi who loves to underline: “It’s an important moment for our company and wine connoisseurs... not just talking merely of wine but telling of our idea of wine. An innovative concept, which can be summarized in the word #mondotognazza, audacious and at times irreverent, that wants to be an alternative to the classic universe of wine which we all know”. Another excellent example of the best Italian entrepreneurship that combines passion, cinema, food and wine, creativity and innovation.

Gli ospiti hanno assaggiato praline Rizzati e la famosa ‘Tenerina’, tipico dolce ferrarese, un trionfo di cioccolato abbinato dallo chef a grandi fragole rosse.

A tutti l’esperto e coinvolgente Sommelier Vinicio Biancuzzi ha raccontato la storia speciale dei vini La Tognazza e guidato gli ospiti nella degustazione del bianco ‘Tapioco’ dalle molteplici qualità.

E un assaggio delle altre etichette della Linea Amici Miei (Tapioco, ComeSeFosse e Antani), oltre alla nuova linea La Tenuta, composta dal bianco 69 e dal rosso Casa Vecchia, presentata di recente dall’istrionico Gian Marco Tognazzi che ama sottolineare: “Per la nostra azienda è un momento importante di confronto con il pubblico di appassionati del vino... parlare non banalmente di vino, ma raccontare la nostra idea di vino. Un concept innovativo, che si riassume nella parola #mondotognazza, audace e a tratti irriverente, che vuole essere un’alternativa all’universo classico del vino a cui siamo abituati”. Una carriera intensa iniziata a vent’anni. Infatti nel 1993 la Beckinsale ha esordito nel cinema nel ruolo di Hero in Molto rumore per nulla, tratto dall’omonima commedia di William Shakespeare, al fianco di attori del calibro di Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton e Keanu Reeves. Il film che le ha dato la fama è stato però Pearl Harbor nel 2001, nel quale ha interpretato la parte dell’infermiera Evelyn Johnson.

Da allora il percorso di Kate appare davvero mostrare un legame speciale con la saga di Underworld, infatti il primo episodio del 2003 è stato il film della consacrazione per lei, da allora interpreta il ruolo della protagonista vampiro Selene con grande riscontro di pubblico e critica e per la gioia di fan di tutto il mondo che la definiscono l’attrice più sexy del grande schermo.

Dopo una parentesi altrettanto importante nel 2004 con l’uscita di Van Helsing (in cui interpretava la parte di Anna) e di The Aviator (in cui ha interpretato la parte di Ava Gardner), nel 2006 Kate è tornata a vestire i panni da vampiro nel sequel Underworld: Evolution.

An intense career that began at twenty. In fact in 1993 Beckinsale debuted in movies in the role of Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, from the same work by William Shakespeare, alongside stars of the caliber of Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton and Keanu Reeves. The film however that brought her to fame was Pearl Harbor in 2001, in which she played the role of nurse Evelyn Johnson. Since then Kate’s path seems to indicate a special link with the Underworld saga; in fact the first episode in 2003 consecrated her as a star and since then she has played the leading role of vampire Selene with much acclaim from the general public and critics alike, for the joy of her fans all over the world who define her as the sexiest actress in movies.

Following an equally important parenthesis in 2004 for Van Helsing (in which she played Anna) and The Aviator (in which she played the part of Ava Gardner), in 2006 Kate once again took up her role as a vampire in the Underworld: Evolution.

And after several other roles, alternating and always preferring, action and thriller movies, in 2011, for the third time, she was Selene in the fourth film of the saga: Underworld - The Reawakening, the first of the four to come out in 3D and at the same time in movie theaters all over the world, in January 2012.

In this episode, after having been a prisoner for 12 years, Selene begins a new era, a new inexorable war, in a new world. Now we will see extraordinary special effects, gothic science fantasy, snowy peaks and bloody battles, in which this warrior is tireless: she is the undisputed soul of the fantasy movie, with her glacial gaze, in her impeccable and sensual black stretch jumpsuit, a real heroin in a past future.

E dopo varie interpretazioni, alternando e prediligendo sempre ruoli drammatici, film d’azione e thriller.

Nel 2011, per la terza volta, ha vestito i panni del vampiro Selene nel quarto film della saga: Underworld - Il risveglio, il primo dei quattro uscito in 3D e contemporaneamente nelle sale di tutto il mondo, nel gennaio 2012.

In quest’episodio dopo essere stata prigioniera per 12 anni, Selene comincia una nuova era, una nuova inarrestabile guerra, in un nuovo mondo. Ora ci attendono straordinari effetti speciali, atmosfere gotico-fantascientifiche, cime innevate e battaglie di sangue, in cui questa guerriera appare instancabile: è l’indiscussa anima del fantastic movie, dallo sguardo di ghiaccio, nella sua impeccabile e sensuale tuta nera stretch, una vera eroina di un passato futuro.

Che siate appassionati o no del genere, di certo la curiosità su cosa riserverà l’episodio Blood Wars è già alle stelle, dunque tutti pronti ad essere stupiti nuovamente dalla magnetica Kate.

Concludiamo con una curiosità sulla vita privata della Beckinsale nella quale Underworld ha avuto allo stesso modo un ruolo fondamentale. Infatti nel 2002, durante la lavorazione del primo Underworld, la Beckinsale convinse il regista Len Wiseman a introdurre nel cast il compagno Michael Sheen, in modo da trascorrere più tempo con la sua famiglia durante i mesi di ripresa lontano dal Regno Unito. A Sheen venne infatti affidato il ruolo dell’antagonista principale, il licantropo Lucian. Contrariamente però a quanto previsto, Kate e Wiseman s’innamorarono sul set e il loro matrimonio è stato una delle intense storie d’amore che ha appassionato Hollywood.

Whether or not you are fans of this genre, certainly the curiosity surrounding the Blood Wars episode is already high, so be ready for more surprises from the irresistible Kate.

In winding up, just a word about Beckinsale’s private life, in which Underworld also played a fundamental role. In fact in 2002, during shooting of the first Underworld, Beckinsale convinced director Len Wiseman to include her partner Michael Sheen in the cast, so that she could spend more time with her family during the shooting far from the United Kingdom. Sheen was given the role of the main antagonist, werewolf Lucian. Contrary however to what everyone expected, Kate and Wiseman fell in love during shooting and their marriage was one of the most intense love stories that kept Hollywood in its thrall.

Bizzarri ha ribadito: “Il concept e il design degli uffici di Milano sono estremamente coerenti con il nuovo capitolo che Gucci ha intrapreso all’inizio del 2015. Questo spazio fortemente contemporaneo, ricavato da una vecchia area industriale, ospiterà un ambiente di lavoro aperto e moderno, alla base del concetto di learning organization che stiamo implementando. Diventerà anche uno spazio di scambio culturale, dove presenteremo le collezioni ogni stagione.” Al centro di questo campus svetta una torre di sei piani costruita ex-novo, con le pareti in vetro, che insiste su una superficie di oltre 3.000 metri quadri e crea un forte contrasto con le pareti di mattoni rossi degli edifici storici. L’hangar di un tempo ospiterà la sfilate a partire proprio dal 2017. Il design interno riflette l’estetica del Direttore Creativo Alessandro Michele. Ogni singola area è stata arredata con pezzi unici, creati o ricreati su misura, dunque introvabili altrove. Poltrone da teatro, vecchi piani di lavoro da bar, schermi vintage, poltrone e tavolini creano un’atmosfera speciale. Niente è noioso. Si respira per certi versi un’atmosfera d’altri tempi ma estremamente innovativa e contemporanea dove la visione di Alessandro Michele ha trovato manifestazione in ogni dettaglio. L’atmosfera stimolante incuriosisce, è ben lontana dai canonici ambienti di lavoro, qui si è catapultati in una vera e propria “casa” Gucci dalla grande personalità. Ebbene anche questo articolo ha iniziato a prendere forma durante una visita al Gucci Hub, in particolare davanti ad un caffè al Bistrot interno tra boiseries e divani, oserei dire quasi un privilegio che ci ha consentito di respirare tutta la creatività, lo stile e l’artigianalità d’eccellenza che questo marchio rappresenta.

Bizzarri reiterated: “The concept and the design for the Milan offices were extremely coherent with the new chapter that Gucci began at the beginning of 2015. This strikingly contemporary space, derived from an old industrial area, will house an open and modern working space, the basis of the concept of learning organization that we are implementing. It will also become a space for cultural exchange, where each season we will present our collections”. At the center of this campus is a brand-new six-storey tower, with glass walls, set in an area of more than 3,000 square meters and which creates a strong contrast with the red brick walls of the older buildings. The former hangar will be home to the fashion shows beginning in 2017. The internal design reflects the aesthetics of Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Each single area was furnished with one-of-a-kind pieces, specifically created or recreated, consequently unavailable elsewhere. Theater seats, old bar counters, vintage screens, armchairs and tables create a special atmosphere. Nothing is boring. In a certain sense it’s like being brought back in time but extremely innovative and contemporary, in which Alessandro Michele’s vision is evident in each detail. The stimulating atmosphere inspires and is light years away from classical work spaces, here one is catapulted in a true and proper Gucci “home” with a lot of personality. And this article too began to take shape during a visit to the Gucci Hub, in particular before a cup of coffee at the internal Bistrot amidst boiseries and sofas, I would dare to say a privilege that enabled us to breathe in all the creativity, style and excellent craftsmanship that this brand represents.

It’s not by chance that the recent and very acclaimed Blind for Love and Gucci Ghost collections have already become unmistakeable and not-to-be-missed best sellers that evoke these atmospheres. The elegance of silver for the more romantic or carefree looks, for small provocations: a luxury to wear every day. Here the double G becomes an integral part of the little ghosts that cheer up entire sets.

While amidst the super new Gucci Timepieces presented at Baselworld 2017 there are the new models from the Le Marché des Merveilles collection, the rich variety of materials reflects the Gucci aesthetic cretivity and bears witness to the craftsmanship of this collection, constantly morphing.

The animal motifs - tiger, bee and serpent - are elegantly reinterpreted through sophisticated embroideries and colored leather. Un dettaglio iconico: l’uso del ricamo sui quadranti in nylon, dove complessi disegni di un serpente, una tigre o un’ape sono messi in risalto dal web dello sfondo. Il serpente - come sulle borse - è anche riprodotto in una speciale variante lavorato in un unico pezzo di pelle che si snoda lungo il cinturino prima di essere imprigionato sotto il vetro zaffiro del quadrante.

Così i nuovi modelli Gucci Dive conferiscono un tocco di eccentricità agli orologi più sportivi di Gucci. La tradizionale rigorosità di questa linea ad alte prestazioni viene esaltata dai motivi più contemporanei della Maison, come la tigre e l’ape che vivacizzano il quadrante. I modelli extra-large da 45 mm hanno cinturino in nylon con web Gucci in blu e rosso o verde e rosso. Ovunque dettagli evocativi: dal fine ricamo dell’ape o della tigre sul quadrante al web sportivo, dalla cassa in PVD nero con lunetta girevole unidirezionale alle lancette luminescenti.

L’atmosfera cambia con le due versioni da 40 mm, una gialla e una total black, lavorate con il caucciù.

Anche qui la fusione di stili e colori rimanda alla nuova era Gucci che brilla fra tradizione e futuro.

An iconic detail: the use of embroidery on the nylon faces, where complex designs of a serpent, a tiger or a bee are highlighted by the background web. The serpent - as on the handbags - is also reproduced in a special variant worked into a single piece of leather that twists along the strap before being imprisoned under the sapphire glass of the face.

Thus the new Gucci Dive models confer a touch of eccentricity to the sportier Gucci watches. The traditional severity of this high-performing line is exalted by the more contemporary motifs, such as the tiger and the bee that enliven the face. The 45 mm extra-large models have a nylon strap with Gucci web in blue and red or green and red. All over, evocative details: from the fine bee embroidery or the tiger on the sporty web face, from the case in black PVD with revolving uni-directional bevel to the luminescent hands.

The picture changes with the two 40 mm versions, one yellow and one total black, worked with rubber.

Here too the fusion of styles and colors leads to the new Gucci era that shines amidst tradition and future.

La cassa è realizzata in acciaio e oro SednaTM 18 carati, mentre il cinturino è in pelle marrone chiaro. Uno degli elementi più interessanti dell’orologio è la lunetta con pavé di diamanti che include anche la scala tachimetrica, su un anello in alluminio marrone. Un doppio design che ha consentito ad OMEGA di aggiungere l’eleganza dei diamanti conservando il DNA sportivo caratteristico dello Speedmaster. Ci apriamo così a rispondere alle necessità di mercati importanti, come quelli orientali, che finora consideravano i cinque stelle della Capitale non adeguati ai loro standard. Faremo da apripista, e questo farà bene a Roma e al turismo di lusso, probabilmente daremo vita al cosiddetto fenomeno del me too”.

Dobbiamo inventarci costantemente nuove facilities per continuare a stupire. Ciò è un grande stimolo, una grande fortuna, che ci migliora ogni giorno e ci ha resi nel tempo estremamente dinamici e creativi.

Un esempio della nostra creatività è di certo l’appuntamento, ormai consolidato, con “Dining with the Stars” che continua a portare gli star Chef dei Jeunes Restaurateurs italiani - e da quest’anno anche europei - nelle cucine degli Hotels & Resorts del Gruppo Planhotel nel mondo. Un’iniziativa nata 3 anni fa per coccolare i nostri ospiti alle Maldive con cene gourmet di chef stellati. La ritengo un’esperienza straordinaria, uno scambio culturale importantissimo, un vero e proprio percorso: prima una serata di show-cooking, poi un mini corso di cucina per gli ospiti ed infine gli chef deliziano tutti con una sofisticata cena gourmet. Siamo stati precursori, è per noi motivo d’orgoglio e di gioia, il riscontro è altissimo e variegato, ogni tipo d’età e di pubblico ne è entusiasta.”

Essere donna a capo di un importante Gruppo non deve essere facile, anche nel settore alberghiero le quote rosa appaiono ancora molto poche. Ci può dare uno scorcio della sua esperienza? È un grande privilegio, ed è vero che è più difficile trovare donne in posizioni di responsabilità ma direi che nel turismo è più frequente.

Nel nostro caso è forse un vantaggio perché si unisce la parte creativa e la propensione all’ospitalità, tipicamente femminili a capacità più gestionali da ‘padrona di casa’, da ‘mamma’ come di una grande famiglia. In effetti proprio così intendiamo il nostro gruppo: i nostri dipendenti devono sentirsi in una grande famiglia e i nostri ospiti come a casa, in famiglia.

Cosa è un lusso per Sara Rosso?

Decisamente il lusso è molto soggettivo, ed è legato fortemente al concetto di tempo e di spazio. Potersi prendere del tempo e avere uno spazio per sé è un grande lusso oggi. Nei nostri alberghi ciò che fa il lusso sono i dettagli, ogni particolare ha un senso, viene pensato e scelto con estrema cura.

We must come up with new facilities in order to continue to astound. This is a great incentive, very positive, which makes us better every day and which over time has made us extremely dynamic and creative.An example of our creativity is surely the consolidated event “Dining with the Stars” which continues to attract young Italian chefs - and from this year also from the rest of Europe - to the kitchens of the Planhotel Group hotels and resorts throughout the world. The initiative began three years ago to pamper our guests in the Maldives with gourmet dinners prepared by starred chefs. I believe it is an extraordinary experience for our guests and also for the chefs: it’s a very important cultural exchange, starting with a show-cooking evening, then a mini cooking course for the guests and then chefs delight everyone with a sophisticated gourmet dinner. We were the first and we’re very proud of that, the response is very positive and varied, the public of all ages is enthusiastic”.

Even in the hospitality sector there seems to be little room for women. Can you give us a glimpse of your experience in this respect?

It’s a great privilege, and it’s true that it is hard to find women in positions of importance but I’d say that it’s more frequent in tourism.

In our case it’s perhaps an advantage because it combines a creative side with the propensity for hospitality, qualities more typically feminine with leanings towards the management and pragmatic sides typical of the “lady of the house”, or the “mother” of a large family.

And for us our employees must feel themselves in a large family and our guests must feel at home, in all respects."

The concept of luxury is rather complex and subjective.

What is luxury for Sara Rosso?

It’s decidedly very subjective, I think that luxury is strongly linked to the concept of time and space. Being able to take one’s time and to have room for oneself today is a luxury in it’s own right. In our hotels it’s the details that mean luxury, each particular has a meaning, it is conceived and selected with extreme care. And the vision of the whole that one has at a first glance is due to the whole of the particulars that really make the difference in our opinion.

Oggi una delle perle del Gruppo Planhotel ha vista mozzafiato sul lago di Lugano: estrema ricercatezza, contemporaneità ed eleganza sia nell’ospitalità come nell’offerta gourmet e benessere. Il The View è una sfida vinta? È un hotel meraviglioso, nato da un complesso immobiliare di lusso in Ticino composto da 65 appartamenti di alto standing.

Dunque sorto per gli ospiti dei proprietari di tali residenze di lusso. Ce ne siamo innamorati subito. Direi che abbiamo fatto da traino per un turismo che mancava a Lugano, un segmento business o leisure locale ed internazionale che cerca il top di gamma.

Abbiamo riempito una nicchia di mercato lasciata vuota, e in effetti ad oggi il riscontro è altissimo. È un hotel da ‘effetto wow’ al di sopra delle migliori aspettative per ogni cliente. È come un grande yacht di lusso sul lago, le camere ultramoderne sono state pensate come grandi cabine dell’armatore. Luci soffuse, a pavimento, ovunque la vista gioca un ruolo fondamentale.

Ogni ospite può scegliere nella sezione ‘My page’ alla prenotazione, di personalizzare la propria camera: ad esempio sceglie la fragranza che preferisce in camera al suo arrivo, che possa farlo sentire più a casa. Può scegliere tra 7 tipi di guanciali, anche aromatizzati all’Argan o alla Lavanda, Camomilla o Eucalipto.

Quest’anno ospiteremo nuovamente questa imperdibile manifestazione con lo Chef piemontese Davide Scabin. Vi aspettiamo.

One of the pearls of the Planhotel Group has a breathtaking view of Lake Lugano: refined elegance, contemporaneity in hospitality as well as in the gourmet and wellness aspects. The View in Lugano, a challenge won?

It’s a wonderful hotel, created for a luxury real estate holding in Ticino composed of 65 exclusive apartments. Consequently it was created for the guests of the owners of these luxury apartments.

We immediately fell in love with it for the nearness to the lake.I would say that we became the driving force for tourism that was missing in Lugano, a local and international business or leisure segment that wants the best. We filled a market niche that had been left open, and in effect today the response is very high. It’s a hotel with a “wow” effect above and beyond the best expectations for each client. It’s like a great luxury yacht on the lake, the ultramodern rooms were conceived as owner’s staterooms. Soft pavement lights, the view plays a fundamental role.

When making a booking on the site’s “my page”, each guest can personalize the reservation: for example choose the preferred fragrance for the room, that makes him feel at home. Guests can choose from seven types of pillows, even scented, with argan or lavender, camomille or eucalyptus.

There’s a surprising and quite large wellness center - open to offthe-street guests as well - with treatment rooms, a room for halotherapy with the benefits of salt from the Himalayas. We organize yoga events and there are many initiatives aimed at propagating our wellness philosophy. There each guest can select a free electric bicycle or Smart to discover the surrounding areas.

Surely the gourmet part is equally exciting, can you give us any hints as to events during 2017?

Yes, we are a consolidated part of the well-known star chef event San Pellegrino Sapori Ticino.

Last year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this excellent gastronomic initiative we hosted the extraordinary and multiple-starred Cerea family, the pride of Italy, and it was a great success. This year we will once again welcome this not-to-be-missed event with Piedmont chef Davide Scabin. See you there.

Partiamo da un concetto fondamentale, che significa benessere?

Il significato della parola benessere: ben-essere, “star bene” o “esistere bene”. È lo stato che coinvolge tutti gli aspetti dell’essere umano, e caratterizza la qualità della vita di ogni individuo. Nel corso degli anni, questo concetto ha subito numerose trasformazioni, ad oggi non è più incentrato sull’idea di assenza di patologie, ma viene visto come uno stato complessivo di buona salute fisica, psichica e mentale. L’individuo viene finalmente visto nella sua totalità.

Let’s begin with a fundamental concept, what does wellness mean?

The meaning of the word wellness: well-being, “being well” or “living well”. It’s the condition that involves all aspects of being human, and typifies the quality of life of each individual. Over time, this concept has undergone numerous transformations, today it is no longer centered on the idea of the absence of pathologies but rather is seen as an overall status of good physical, psychic and mental health. The individual at last is seen in his/her entirety.

Quale responsabilità hanno gli operatori o imprenditori del benessere?

Negli ultimi 10 anni questo settore è cresciuto in maniera esponenziale, non ha assolutamente risentito della crisi industriale, finanziaria e politica di questo paese. Sono stati investiti milioni di euro per creare Centri Benessere o SPA più lussuose e confortevoli. Chiunque ha creato uno spazio benessere. Denominatore comune: vendere il Lusso del Ben-essere. Si è puntato però all’apparenza, alla forma e all’impatto visivo. Ma non ci sono contenuti, è un business da milioni di euro. Opero in tale settore da oltre 20 anni, e, facendo una panoramica nazionale, posso affermare che ad oggi siamo ancora ben lontani dal significato profondo del termine benessere. L’alta richiesta ha fatto nascere scuole per diventare Spa Manager con le quali ci si troverà ad avere delle perfette macchine da guerra per produrre fatturato. Corsi che chi frequenta si annovera il diritto (dopo un week-end) di essere un massaggiatore a tutti gli effetti. Ma il percorso formativo nel nostro ambito, come in altri, non finisce mai, deve essere una costante ed un dovere. Detto ciò, non è mia intenzione sparare a zero su tutto, sarebbe ingiusto e riduttivo.

Nel mio percorso ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare validissimi “maestri” che con grande preparazione e passione hanno saputo trasmettere il loro sapere. Ho incontrato anche tanti ciarlatani, che dietro le sembianze di grandi professionisti, tessevano tele e storie fantastiche su trattamenti o prodotti lussuosi da proporre al cliente ma che in realtà nascondevano il loro fine unico di fare soldi ad ogni costo.

What are the responsibilities of wellness operators or entrepreneurs?

In the last ten years this sector has grown exponentially, not in the least affected by this country’s industrial, financial and political crises. Millions of euro have been invested to create luxurious and comfortable wellness centers or spas. Many have created a wellness space.

Common denominator: sell the Luxury of well-being.

Attention however was paid to appearance, to form and visual impact. But there are no contents, it’s a million euro business. I’ve been operating in this field for more than 20 years and, looking at the national panorama, I can safely state that as of today we are still quite far from the profound meaning of the term wellness. The high number of requests led to the growth of schools to become spa managers with which one will have perfect war machines to produce turnover. Courses that entitle those who frequent them (after a week-end) to be a masseuse to all effects and purposes. But the training path in our field, as in others, never ends, it must be constant and it must be an obligation. Having said this, I don’t mean to shoot everyone down, that would be unjust and over-simplifying matters. Along my path I was lucky enough to meet very valid “maestri” who with much experience and passion knew how to transmit their knowledge. I have also met many charlatans, who behind the features of great professionals, weaved tales of luxurious treatments or products to entice clients but who in reality hid their sole purpose of making money at any cost.

È UNA DANZA, È ASCOLTO DELL’ALTRO A MASSAGE IS A DANCE, IT’S LISTENING TO THE OTHER PERSON. ”

Cos’è Il massaggio? È un’arte sottile, non solo abilità, ma piuttosto è amore.

Uno dei miei maestri diceva sempre che le nostre mani solo quando impariamo a sentire attraverso il nostro cuore, vanno dove devono andare. La tecnica può essere imparata ma la vera differenza la fa il sentire con il cuore in quel preciso istante cosa serve all’altro. Il massaggio è come raccontare una storia meravigliosa: con un inizio, una trama ed una fine. È una danza, è ascolto dell’altro.

Un consiglio da dare a chi varca la soglia di una SPA? Non soffermatevi sulla convinzione di voler a tutti i costi debellare il gonfiore dalle vostre gambe o togliere quella ruga fastidiosa. Cercate piuttosto di comprendere il perché il vostro corpo produce tali inestetismi. Il corpo è una macchina perfetta, manda segnali ogni giorno, impariamo ad ascoltarli. Una delle difficoltà maggiori che incontro durante le mie lezioni di yoga è proprio quella di riuscire a far respirare le persone (abbiamo purtroppo dimenticato come si fa), riuscire a farle stare con gli occhi chiusi (abbiamo paura di perdere il controllo), e di riuscire a farle stare ferme in piedi rivolte verso l’ascolto di se stessi (dove tutto scorre alla velocità della luce, abbiamo difficoltà a fermarci). Ma se nel caos e nei momenti di difficoltà non impariamo a fermarci, come potremo capire quale è la giusta strada da intraprendere?

Dunque in poche battute, quale la filosofia di Wellness & Beauty?

L’idea di creare un pool di professionisti responsabili e onesti nel pensiero, viaggia dentro di me da sempre. I primi anni sono stati impegnati proprio nella ricerca e nella formazione del personale e dei migliori prodotti cosmetici. Oggi il Wellness & Beauty è un Centro Benessere basato su un team di professionisti , dove ogni operatore attraverso la sua esperienza e il suo percorso formativo riesce a proporre ciò che è più idoneo ad ogni individuo, un percorso cucito sulla persona intesa come essere nella sua totalità. il nostro è un lavoro in equipe per il raggiungimento di un risultato e di un obiettivo: risvegliare la consapevolezza dell’individuo trattasi di curare una ruga, la cellulite o il mal di schiena. E questo risultato lo si può ottenere soltanto attraverso la conoscenza, la prevenzione l’onestà professionale e la giusta informazione.

What is a massage?

It is a subtle art, not just manuality, but rather it is love.

One of my maestri always said that only when we learn to feel through our hearts do our hands go where they should go. Technique can be learned but the real difference is feeling in that precise moment with your heart what the other needs. A massage is like telling a wonderful story: with a beginning, a plot and an ending. It’s a dance, it’s listening to the other person.

Any advice to those who enter a SPA? Don’t entrench yourself with the conviction of wanting at all costs to rid yourself of swelling in your legs or removing that worrisome wrinkle. Instead try to understand why your body produces these problems and blemishes.

The body is a perfect machine, it sends signals each day, we should learn to listen to them. One of the hardest difficulties I come across during my yoga lessons is that of making people breathe (unfortunately we’ve forgotten how), make them stay with their eyes closed (we are afraid of losing control) and to make them stay still on their feet listening to themselves (where everything flows at the speed of light, it’s hard to stop). But if there’s chaos and at hard times we don’t learn to stop, how will we understand what is the right road to take?

In just a few words, what is Wellness & Beauty’s philosophy?

The idea of creating a pool of serious and honest-thinking professionals has always been my dream. The first years were committed to that search and training personnel and finding the best cosmetic products. Today the Wellness & Beauty is a wellness center based on a team of professionals, in which each operator, based on his/her experience and training, succeeds in proposing what is best for each individual, a path made to order for the person as a being in his/her totality. We work as a team to achieve results and objectives: reawaken the awareness of an individual whether it be to treat a wrinkle, cellulitis or a back ache. And these results can only be obtained through knowledge, prevention, professional honesty and the correct information. Treat yourself to the luxury of finding your soul.

The then-modest factory quickly grew into one of the great internationally-renowned Made in Italy icons. Now, exactly 70 years later, on March 12 2017, Ferrari launches its official celebrations for this milestone anniversary.

To coincide with the official start of the celebrations and to commemorate the events of 70 years ago, Ferrari is also released a special video featuring a re-enactment of the first 12-cylinder to sport the Cavallino Rampante on its bonnet, the 125 S, driving through the factory gates on Via Abetone Inferiore and, in doing so, symbolically passing the baton of the Ferrari legacy to the LaFerrari Aperta.

125 S, la prima Ferrari È stata la prima vettura con il marchio Ferrari. Il suo motore 12 cilindri, indispensabile per ottenere grandi prestazioni, fu ideato da Gioacchino Colombo con il contributo di Giuseppe Busso e Luigi Bazzi. Il 12 marzo 1947 la 125 S, un’auto di acciaio ancora senza carrozzeria, venne messa in moto e l’avventura Ferrari cominciò. Due mesi più tardi, l’11 maggio 1947, fu il giorno del debutto in pista sul Circuito di Piacenza: la 125 S, con la S che indica la carrozzeria di tipo Sport, vide al volante Franco Cortese. Un insuccesso promettente. Così Enzo Ferrari definì quel debutto, interrotto da un’avaria alla pompa di alimentazione mentre l’auto si trovava al comando della gara. Ma l’insuccesso durò giusto lo spazio di nove giorni: il 20 maggio 1947, nel Gran Premio di Roma, Franco Cortese portò la 125 S al successo, completando 40 giri per complessivi 137,6 chilometri alla media di 88,5 km/h. è la prima delle sei vittorie ottenute nel 1947, tra cui spicca anche quella di Parma con Tazio Nuvolari al volante.

125 S, the first Ferrari This was the first car to sport the Ferrari badge. Its 12-cylinder engine, vital to powerful performance, was designed by Gioacchino Colombo with Giuseppe Busso and Luigi Bazzi also contributing to the project. On March 12 1947, the 125 S, still an unbodied steel rolling chassis, roared to life for the first time and the great Ferrari adventure began. Two months later, on May 11 1947, the car made its track debut at the Piacenza Circuit. At the wheel of the 125 S (the S referring to its sports car-type bodywork) was Franco Cortese. Enzo Ferrari dubbed this maiden outing as a promising failure after the car was forced to pull up with a fuel pump problem whilst leading the race. However, that moment of failure was short-lived as just nine days later on May 20, Franco Cortese drove the 125 S to victory in the Rome Grand Prix, completing the 40 laps of the circuit and the 137 kilometres of the race at an average speed of 88.5 km/h. This was the first of six victories the 125 S delivered in 1947, the most notable of which was the Parma Grand Prix with Tazio Nuvolari doing the driving.

A “Driven by Emotion” Anniversary In the course of 2017, over 60 nations will host events crafted to treat clients and enthusiasts of the marque to a string of unique experiences as part of the “Driven by Emotion” concept, one of the cornerstones on which the Ferrari story was founded and has flourished. “Driven by Emotion” is a tribute to the importance placed by the Cavallino Rampante on emotion throughout the last 70 years: be it in terms of delivering the most riveting and rewarding driving experience possible, Ferrari’s universally lauded and acknowledged styling, or innovation via the astonishing pioneering technological solutions revealed by each new Maranello model.

Thus, March 12 marks the start of the anniversary events with Australasia opening the programme. The LaFerrari Aperta will be present at each stage as the symbol of the 70th anniversary.

The anniversary celebrations culminate in Maranello on the weekend of September 9 and 10, but will also be flanked by other initiatives paying homage to Cavallino Rampante history, not least special exhibitions and the first “Cavalcade Classiche”.

Propone workshop di letture portfolio utilizzando la tecnica del Photoprojective, ideata da Judy Weiser negli anni ’70, che riconosce alla fotografia un potenziale proiettivo. Dal 2016 collabora con PeriscopePhotoscouting, piattaforma di consulenza e scouting per giovani artisti ideata da Claudio Composti.

Lives and works in Milan. Co-founder of ch2_eventiculturali, she handles the planning and communications for events linked to culture, with a focus on contemporary art. She organizes workshops on reading portfolios utilizing Photoprojective, created by Judy Weiser in the 1970’s, which recognizes a protective potential in photographs. SPACE TO CONTEMPORARY ART VisionareaArt Space was developed from an idea by artist Matteo Basilé and entrepreneur Francesco Carducci. It’s a space dedicated to contemporary art in general, an observatory, an incubator of ideas that proposes and promotes the projects of national and international artists. Visionarea was conceived as a temporary art museum that has its base within the Auditorium Conciliazione and through site specific projects lives in a number of places at the same time, for the purpose of promoting art not just in one physical location. For the second year in a row the Fondazione Roma Terzo Pilastro sustains the initiative.

“ VISIONAREA È CONCEPITA Visionarea Art Space presenta “L’ultimo di Dio” personale di Lamberto Teotino, la seconda di un ciclo di sei mostre a cura di Claudio Composti, realizzate in collaborazione con mc2gallery di Milano, di cui è direttore artistico e co-fondatore insieme a Vincenzo Maccarone.

Lamberto Teotino, classe ‘74, si esprime attraverso il mezzo fotografico. Il suo approccio, concettuale e filosofico, indaga la natura dell’immagine, esaminandone i meccanismi percettivi. L’artista romano seleziona meticolosamente fotografie d’archivio che poi manipola, creando una realtà altra. “L’ultimo Dio” è un lavoro antropologico che esplora gli aspetti psicologici dell’individuo. Protagonista è l’uomo con il suo viaggio introspettivo all’interno di sé stesso. In questo processo verso l’autocoscienza, che ha come obiettivo quello di decifrare il progetto del sé e quel significato ultimo che va al di là di noi, è necessaria l’intuizione. Intuire significa leggere dentro, è una forma di conoscenza diretta e immediata che non si avvale del ragionamento.Teotino vuole guardare dentro, sondare il territorio della realtà psichica.

I soggetti della serie “L’ultimo Dio” hanno il volto cancellato, l’artista lo sostituisce con forme geometriche, figure dotate di omotetia interna, in cui cioè la forma si ripete su scale diverse. Secondo gli esperimenti di Terence McKenna, un grande esponente della rivoluzione psichedelica, la percezione di queste figure geometriche composte da frattali colorati la si ha quando da uno stato semicosciente si passa ad una dimensione di trascendenza. Si ritiene inoltre che i frattali abbiano delle corrispondenze con la struttura della mente umana, sono somiglianti al genoma, anch’esso caratterizzato da una scultura matematicamente armoniosa che costituisce una sorta di codice di riproducibilità che ritroviamo ripetuto anche in natura. Non siamo nel territorio del logos ma dell’intelletto e dell’intuito, siamo nell’area della ghiandola pineale, che si trova all’interno del nostro cervello, tra i due emisferi cerebrali.Questa ghiandola endocrina regola il ritmo circadiano del sonno e della veglia, ed è deputata anche alla regolazione del flusso di coscienza, produce inoltre Dmt, una sostanza che consente di raggiungere stati di coscienza molto elevati. Ed è proprio questa la dimensione che Lamberto Teotino esplora e rappresenta nelle sue opere: l’artista ci restituisce l’immagine di un uomo consapevole, evoluto, sensibile alla dimensione sottile, che sa esercitare il controllo sul mondo fisico perché sa connettersi al suo sé più profondo e al divino che abita in ognuno di noi.

La mostra inaugura il 9 maggio e terminerà il 6 settembre 2017.

COME UN TEMPORARY ART MUSEUM VISIONAREA WAS CONCEIVED AS A TEMPORARY ART MUSEUM ”

Visionarea Art Space presents “L’ultimo Dio” by Lamberto Teotino, the second in a cycle of six exhibitions curated by Claudio Composti, realized in collaboration with mc2gallery in Milan, of which he is the artistic director and co founder, together with Vincenzo Maccarone.

Lamberto Teotino, class of ‘74, expresses himself through photographs. His approach, conceptual and philosophical, investigates the nature of an image, examining its perceptive mechanisms. The Roman artist meticulously selects old photographs which he then manipulates, creating another reality. “L’ultimo Dio” is an anthropological work that explores the psychological aspects of an individual. The protagonist is a man with his introspective journey inside himself. In this process towards self-consciousness, the objective of which is to decipher the project of self and that last meaning that goes beyond us, intuition is required. Intuition means reading within, it’s a form of direct and immediate knowledge that does not avail itself of reason. Teotino wants to look inside, to probe the territory of psichic reality. The subjects in the “L’ultimo Dio” series do not have faces, the artist substituted them with geometric figures, figures in which the form is repeated on different levels.

According to experiments conducted by Terence McKenna, a great exponent of the psychedelic revolution, the perception of these geometric figures composed of colored fractals is obtained when one passes from a state of semi-consciousness to a dimension of transcendence. Moreover, it is believed that the fractals have correspondence with the structure of the human mind, they resemble the genoma, it too characterized by a mathematically harmonious sculpture that constitutes a sort of code of reproduceability that we also find repeated in nature.

We are not in the territory of logos but of the intellect and intuition, we are in the area of the pineal gland, which is inside our brain, between the two cerebral hemispheres. This endocrine gland regulates the circadian rhythm of sleep and wakefulness, and it is also responsible for regulating the flow of consciousness; moreover it produces Dmt, a substance that makes it possible to reach very high stages of consciousness.

And it is precisely this dimension that Lamberto Teotino explores and represents in his works: the artist gives us back the image of a knowledgeable, evoluted man, sensitive to the subtle dimension, who knows how to exercise control over the physical world because he knows how to connect to his deepest self and to the divine that lives in all of us.

The exhibition opens on May 9 and will close on September 6, 2017.

KEITH HARING A Palazzo Reale, la città della moda e delle mode rende omaggio alla creatività del grande Keith Haring (1958-1990) con un’importante mostra. Ben 110 opere del geniale artista americano, molte di grandi dimensioni, alcune inedite o mai esposte in Italia, provenienti da collezioni pubbliche e private americane, europee ed asiatiche.

La rassegna - in programma fino al 18 Giugno - per la prima volta, rende il senso profondo e la complessità della sua ricerca, mettendo in luce il suo rapporto con la storia dell’arte.

All’interno del percorso espositivo, i lavori di Haring vengono posti in dialogo con le sue fonti di ispirazione, dall’archeologia classica, alle arti precolombiane, alle figure archetipe delle religioni, alle maschere del Pacifico e alle creazioni dei nativi americani, fino a arrivare ai maestri del Novecento, quali Pollock, Dubuffet, Klee.

MILANO CELEBRATES KEITH HARING At Palazzo Reale, the city of fashion and trends pays tribute to the creativity of the great Keith Haring (1958-1990) with an important exhibition. A total of 110 works by the brilliant American artist, many over-size, some never seen before or never shown in Italy, from public and private American, European and Asian collections.

For the first time the exhibition - on display until June 18 - portrays the profundity and complexity of his works, highlighting his relationship with the history of art.

Inside the exhibition, Haring’s works are placed in a dialogue with his sources of inspiration, from classical archeology to pre-Colombian art, to the archtype figures of religions, to the masks from the Pacific and to the creations of Native Americans, down to the masters of the 20th century, such as Pollock, Dubuffet, Klee.

About Art, curata da Gianni Mercurio, promossa e prodotta dal Comune di MilanoCultura, Palazzo Reale, con la collaborazione scientifica di Madeinart e con il prezioso contributo della Keith Haring Foundation, presenta 110 opere, molte di dimensioni monumentali, alcune delle quali inedite o mai esposte in Italia.

La rassegna ruota attorno a un nuovo assunto critico: la lettura retrospettiva dell’opera di Haring non è corretta se non è vista anche alla luce della storia delle arti che egli ha compreso e collocato al centro del suo lavoro, assimilandola fino a integrarla esplicitamente nei suoi dipinti e costruendo in questo modo la parte più significativa della sua ricerca estetica.

Le opere dell’artista americano si affiancano a quelle di autori di epoche diverse, a cui Haring si è ispirato e che ha reinterpretato con il suo stile unico e inconfondibile, in una sintesi narrativa di archetipi della tradizione classica, di arte tribale ed etnografica, di immaginario gotico o di cartoonism, di linguaggi del suo secolo e di escursioni nel futuro con l’impiego del computer in alcune sue ultime sperimentazioni. Tra queste, s’incontrano quelle realizzate da Jackson Pollock, Jean Dubuffet, Paul Klee per il Novecento, ma anche i calchi della Colonna Traiana, le maschere delle culture del Pacifico, i dipinti del Rinascimento italiano e altre. Di certo Haring è stato uno dei più importanti autori della seconda metà del Novecento; la sua arte è percepita come espressione di una controcultura socialmente e politicamente impegnata su temi propri del suo e del nostro tempo: droga, razzismo, Aids, minaccia nucleare, alienazione giovanile, discriminazione delle minoranze, arroganza del potere. Haring ha partecipato di un sentire collettivo diventando l’icona di artista-attivista globale.

The works by the American artist are placed beside artists of different eras, from whom Haring sought inspiration and who he reinterpreted with his unique and unmistakeable style, in a narrative synthesis of archtypes of classic tradition, of tribal and ethnographic art, of imaginary gothic or cartoonism, of languages of his century and of excursions into the future with the use of computers in some of his later experiments. Among these, we see works

by Jackson Pollock, Jean Dubuffet, Paul Klee for the 20th century, but also the casts for Trajan’s Column, the masks from Pacific cultures, paintings from the Italian Renaissance and still more. For sure Haring was one of the most important artists of the second half of the 20th century; his art is perceived as an expression of a counterculture socially and politically committed to the topics of his and our times: drugs, racism, Aids, nuclear threat, juvenile alienation, minority discrimination, the arrogance of power. Haring participated in a collective feeling becoming the icon of a global artist-activist.

Tuttavia, il suo progetto, reso evidente in questa mostra, fu di ricomporre i linguaggi dell’arte in un unico personale, immaginario simbolico, che fosse al tempo stesso universale, per riscoprire l’arte come testimonianza di una verità interiore che pone al suo centro l’uomo e la sua condizione sociale e individuale. È in questo disegno che risiede la vera grandezza di Haring; da qui parte e si sviluppa il suo celebrato impegno di artista-attivista e si afferma la sua forte singolarità rispetto ai suoi contemporanei.

La mostra ha un allestimento emozionante e al contempo denso di rimandi al contesto in cui la breve ed esplosiva vita di Haring gli consentì di esprimersi come una delle personalità più riconosciute dell’arte americana del dopoguerra. Infine straordinario l’incontro di universi ed epoche, culture e storie diverse che potrete respirare a Palazzo Reale visitando quest’esposizione con gli occhi e con il cuore.
