Manchester United star Wayne Rooney visited Dubai to wrestle a tiger and feed giraffes. The striker took a short trip to Dubai and met the animals at his friend's farm in Al Khawaneej. Wayne Rooney is having a warm weather break with his wife Coleen, after an injury damaged his knee ligaments. Coleen is also recovering from giving birth to their third son, Kit, in January. Rooney is expected to be back with the Red Devils by the end of the month. No longer required to undergo surgery, Rooney can still play in this summer's European Championships in France, where is expected to once again captain England. Mohammad Abbas, brother of Al Nasr left back Hussain Abbas, was at the farm during Rooney's visit. Apart from wrestling with the tiger, Abbas was most impressed by the player's attitude.

By 2050, climate change could cause over half a million deaths due to poor diet. In a bizarre incident, a passenger went ahead and opened the door of the plane while it was taxiing on the runaway in order to get some fresh air. Become aware of the breath as it enters your body on the in breath and leaves the body on the out breath – just following your breath, breath by breath, without trying to change it at all.

Focus your attention on the way the breath moves the body in a very gentle rocking motion as the abdomen rises and falls with the in and out breath, notice the rhythm of the breath, the changing sensations of the breath, whether it is smooth, rough, long or short, cool or warm.

Perhaps become aware of the slight pauses at the end of the in-breath and at the end of the out-breath as it turns. There is no need to change or alter anything, just notice what is already happening in each moment. There is no particular state that needs to be achieved.

I have been acting in stage plays in university and out of it for the past two years, so I guess I can say I am an actor or aspire to be a very good one at least.

<RX KDYH DOUHDG\ JDLQHG DFFODLP IRU \RXU SHUIRUPDQFHV +RZ GLG \RX ÀUVW GHYHORS DQ LQWHUHVW LQ WKH DUW" During my school days, although I never took part in any school plays or even tried auditioning. But I always had an interest in playing different characters and roles, willing and eager to look at life through someone else's perspective. In the beginning it was only a slight interest, but later it developed as a hobby and eventually into something I really enjoy and love doing.

,W¡V JUHDW WR SXUVXH D KREE\ \RX ORYH 7HOO PH PRUH DERXW \RXU Ă€UVW HYHU DFWLQJ SHUIRUPDQFH It was during University of Bahrain's Annual Drama Festival. I played the role of James Tyrell in William Shakespeare's classic Richard III. It was an interesting role with an evil side to it. He was portrayed as the organizer of the murder of prince, a loyal subject to the king, but turned out to be a deserter. It was a wonderful experience and more than performing if there was something I enjoyed the most, it was rehearsing and being part of a beautiful

family (hope you all are reading this you know who you are!). I was also lucky to be part of another play called “An Irish Engagement.�

Other than that, Peter Dinklage is a huge inspiration. Being just four feet tall, the power of his theatrics is awe-inspiring, and his role as Tyrion Lannister had a huge impact on me.

INTERVIEW So Anke what attracted you WR NLWHVXUĂ€QJ" I was sailing since the age of 10, and would spend my holidays on sailing boats with my dad. Going with the wind and being one with QDWXUH LV ZKDW , ORYH .LWHVXUĂ€QJ LV QH[W WR sailing a great physical challenge and very versatile. I love being on the water with friends and just going the distance alone.

The new record attempt sounds like a lot of physical preparation. What kind of WUDLQLQJ DUH \RX XQGHUJRLQJ" ,¡YH EHHQ WUDLQLQJ VLQFH -DQXDU\ D PL[ RI weight training in the gym, yoga to keep me Ă H[LEOH DQG RI FRXUVH NLWHVXUĂ€QJ , KDYH DQ intensive 6-day-a-week training schedule until the day of departure.

I love big kites - 15m and bigger. You have to get used to them but once you do they are great for racing and going the distance.

You have to be out on the water to get better and once you get good you will never look back.

3HUIHFW DGYLFH +RZ GLG \RX SLFN the route for your next attempted ZRUOG UHFRUG" The idea of Kitesurf Arabia came from a sailing competition. This made me want to go the distance by kite as its proof that the wind can carry you along all the way from Bahrain to UAE.

:KDW DFFRUGLQJ WR \RX ZLOO EH WKH ELJJHVW FKDOOHQJH ZKLOH NLWH VXUĂ€QJ WKH UHJLRQ" 7KH ZLQG DQG ZHDWKHU IRU H[DPSOH FDQ EH a challenge and always remains a factor of uncertainty. Even if the weather and wind looks steady and good to go you can pass WKURXJK DUHDV ZKHUH WKH XQH[SHFWHG FDQ happen. Last time, the wind picked up without any warning and within minutes I got pulled downwind towards Qatar, and the team has to react fast in these situations. Also, night kiting is a big challenge as it will be very hard to see where you are going and to read the wind and the waves. If the water is smooth and the waves are more or less regular, it should be okay, but you never know.

So which movie was it that inspired you to establish your own start-up? And how? It was the winter of 2014 in Bahrain, when I watched the movie “Pirates of Silicon Valleyâ€?. 7KLV Ă€OP SODFHG HPSKDVLV LQ WKH HDUO\ OLYHV of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, who were university students like I was but what they did was something out of the ordinary at that time. This thought got stuck in my head and I decided that I want to make a difference in SHRSOH¡V OLYHV , KDG D ORW RI H[SHULHQFHV VR IDU LQ P\ OLIH some of them really crazy and trust me really unique but iScreenFix was the biggest of them all yet. Little did I know that I would be D SDUW RI D VWDUWXS DQG KHUH , DP GRLQJ WKDW 0\ LQVSLUDWLRQ WR EHFRPH DQ HQWUHSUHQHXU FDPH IURP RQH VLPSOH GHFLVLRQ EHFDXVH of which the human race is still evolving and that is “changeâ€?. I want change and I want it bad!!

Being an entrepreneur has its fair share of challenges. aving hits which describe romantic ballads, to more political issues, Kadhem has made a name for himself as one of the most successful singers in the history of the Arab World, crediting the sale of more than 30 million albums to his name. When he performs with an orchestra of twenty to thirty musicians on Arabic percussion, oud, qanun, nay, and a full complement of strings (violin, cello, and bass). While some of his work makes use of electronic musical sounds, he avoids the use of synthesizers to imitate acoustic instruments. His work frequently features Iraqi folk instruments, rhythms and melodies. Kadhem has covered the spectrum of music with the kind of success not seen since the heyday of Umm Kalthum. Al-Saher was born in 1961 in Nainawa, Northern Iraq, one of ten children of a palace worker. His interest in music came not from lessons, but the radio, where he learned the works of composers like Mohamed Abdel Wahab by hearing them. When he was ten, he sold his bicycle to buy a guitar and two years later, began writing songs. He switched to oud, a much more common instrument, and was accepted into the Baghdad Music Academy at the age of 21. Keen to break through in the music business with his songs and voice, he found himself rebuffed by all the producers he approached, who'd only let him sing their material. Instead, he used the back door to gain entry to the industry. With a television director friend, he made a video of one of his songs, Ladghat El Hayya (The Snake Bite), which was slipped into a broadcast on Iraqi television in 1987, just after the Iran-Iraq war. An allegory to his situation, it caused a major controversy and the powers that ran television offered him a choice -- change the lyrics or have it banned. He refused to change anything, but the banning only made it more popular. He began giving concerts all over the Gulf and recording for labels in Kuwait. A year later, he had a hit with Obart Al Shat (I Crossed the Ocean). Some of his professors at the Academy denounced it as sha'bi (pop) music, anathema to those who taught classical music. But protesting was pointless. Al-Saher had managed to circumvent the system and had become a star on his own terms -- he even XQGHUWRRN KLV ÀUVW 8 6 WRXU LQ +DYLQJ conquered pop, Al-Saher turned around and established himself in the Arabic classical world with La Ya Sadiki (No, My Friend), a magnum opus that lasted almost an hour and found him using maqams (scales) that hadn't been used in Iraqi music in several decades, revitalizing a tradition. The Gulf War and its immediate aftermath kept him pinned in Iraq, but in 1993 he transferred his base of operations to Lebanon, working with the poet Nizar Qabbani, who wrote lyrics to his music, before settling permanently in Cairo. Al-Saher continued to release albums and tour, having become the biggest name in Middle Eastern music, one whose ballads grew bigger and more romantic, but who would also write FODVVLFDOO\ LQà XHQFHG ZRUNV HYHQ ZKHQ WKH\ might hurt his popularity.
