Vaccinations by the numbers As of November 12th 2.34 million doses have been administered to county residents. Those who are fully vaccinated have now reached over 1 million, making 66.9% of the county fully vaccinated. Do You Need a COVID-19 Vaccine or a Test for Work or Holiday Travel? Now that the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced that employers with more than 100 employees must ensure their workers are fully vaccinated or test at least on a weekly basis by Jan. 4, many people are asking where they can get a COVID-19 vaccine or a test.

Human Interest Mayor Robertson Attends California Economic Summit Mayor Robertson recently returned from Monterey, CA. She was an attendee of the 10th Anniversary of the California Economic Summit. The event gave great opportunities to hear from our Governor and other resourceful individuals, agencies, and organizations, on continuing to move California forward economically. Pictured is our Mayor having the opportunity to brie y speak with the Governor regarding his message of pandemic recovery and resources available through state agencies/ departments. In addition, Mayor had an opportunity to hear from CSUSB Professor Alex Avila as a panel presenter and interact with Prince, a CA FOWARD member of the Young Adults Leaders Council. Lastly, the district staff member for our 47th Assemblymember and Majority Leader Eloise Gomez Reyes was in attendance and was able to brie y discuss upcoming legislative proposals and opportunities to consider along with the 65th Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva, a former local elected colleague and SCAG Regional Council member.

Panel presentations were very resourceful for the area of concern for Rialto, including Career Pathways to workforce opportunities and nancial resources available for People of Color Small Businesses.

Ayres Hotel Breaks Ground in Rialto
Mayor Robertson, dignitaries and community leaders led in a groundbreaking event for the Ayres Hotel. The construction will begin and will be located on the corner of Linden and Renaissance Parkway. Westside Story Newspaper covered the event. “Ayres Hotel Rialto is centrally located between Rancho Cucamonga and San Bernardino and will meet the demands of travelers and the businesses of this new industrial area,” noted Don Ayres III, a fourth generation Ayres family member. “Ayres looks forward to serving the needs of the community, its corporate and leisure guests and will serve as a job stimulator and training ground for young hospitality professionals in the area.” This new location is the 9th Ayres Hotel in the Inland Empire and the 26th property in the Ayres Hotels collection. The addition of the property is part of the overall Ayres Hotels strategy to embrace new markets while continuing their commitment to quality hospitality in the communities they serve.”
