The northern curb has numerous points of entry for other parking surfaces in and around the athletic complex. Lindahl Drive is flanked by sidewalks connecting to the network of paths throughout campus. Anderson Drive provides angular and parallel parking stalls along its horseshoe shape. ADA parking stalls are demarcated at locations. Anderson Drive is flanked by sidewalks connecting to the network of paths throughout campus. The number of ADA parking stalls will be retained. It is anticipated the number of parking stalls will be retained, with provisions to increase parking count through consolidating the parking and changing the configuration to 90 degree angular parking. ANALYSIS OF EXISTING FACILITIES Functions and Purposes of Existing Programs as they relate to the Proposed Project WSC Mission Wayne State College is a comprehensive institution of higher education dedicated to freedom of inquiry, excellence in teaching and learning, and regional service and development. Offering affordable undergraduate and graduate programs, the College prepares students for careers, advanced study, and civic involvement. The College is committed to faculty-staff-student interaction, public service, and diversity within a friendly and collegial campus community. All other activities that take place on Lindahl Drive supplement programs that take place in other buildings or facilities on campus. Athletics and campus recreation activities utilize Lindahl for access and activities. PROJECT BUDGET AND FISCAL IMPACT Cost Estimate Criteria Standards, Comparisons and Sources Used to Develop the Estimated Cost An independent building cost consultant was utilized to develop a detailed cost estimate for the program statement and design development phase. These estimates were compared to published data and to similar construction projects in this region. The Year and Month on which the Estimates are Made and the Inflation Factors Used The estimate was made to reflect the construction cost as of summer 2016. Total Project Cost Total project cost including construction cost, equipment, professional services, etc., is estimated to be $1,935,333. Please see the following estimate for additional information. Construction Cost Base Bid construction cost including new construction, major and minor renovations, is estimated to be $1,540,285.
