skeletons
i chose to recreate this image as i liked the desolute name, ‘skeletons’ and how the photographer had personified the decaying trees into something like a decaying human. For the edits i wanted to try and recreate the same tone, but i dont think that the trees were sparse enough. Also i struggled to gain the foggy tone. I think that my second edit is better as the colour tones are more matched and there is a pattern overlay on the photo to try and create the same tone.

three solitrary trees
I chose to recreate this photo due to liking the dark and ‘solitrary’ feel that the image conveys. i couldnt find a set of trees standning on their own. So when taking my photos i tried to used different angles to ensure that there is no other features in the photo. In the top edit i tried to create the foggy and distorted tone in photoshop. For the lower image i added a pattern overlay to try and give the effect of the fog again.

link my theme. In one of the edited images i used photo shop to select the middle of the mirror and turn it black and white, This is to take the viewers attention away from the center of the mirror and more on what is surrounding the mirror. To mirror the idea on the second image i enhanced the entire this was to create a light feel to the photo and to enchance the autumnal look of the surrounding leaves.
I chose to recreate this image as it links in with my theme of the natural world but also enables me to link in relections. I chose to use the style of mirror that i have to link with the actual photographer even more. I then ensured that when taking the photo that where i placed the mirror had lots of leaves surroudning it to
florian mueller Nimbus XII
I chose this image to recreate as firstly it coincides with my theme of the natural world. Furthermore i thought it would be a good image to be able to edit and finally due to its simplicity but its affect. As a photography florian mueller takes a range of images, mostly focusing on the urban world, however this particular image was good for me to recreate due to the links.
The three images that i have taken and edited, have been edited in photoshop. I have used gradient overlays on them. The clouds were never going to look exactly like the Nimbuss XII, But it wasnt about getting a exact replica. I feel as though i have taken the image and added my own touch to it, by using different colours and gradients to give the viewer a light coloured and radient image to view. The photos are also slightly surreal, due the to unusal colours of the clouds.
Sticks andy goldsworthy
I chose this artisit to interpret as i thought that his ideas were innovative and very symbolic. Andy has taken a group of images all surrounding the idea of throwing objects in the air, some with him featuring and some where he isnt. Also the idea of the sticks being thrown links in with my theme of nature so more links were made. I took images of leaves once they had been thrown in the air, to create the same idea as what Andy used. I then edited the photos in a way that created ‘steps’ of colour, Each photo is black and white but the aspects of reds and blues have been altered-this is what gives it the darker or lighter back ground. The tops of the trees are in the second image for a element of understanding for the space and height of the leaves.
