Dear MCC Members,
First of all, let me introduce Victor Dupre He is the club s new Dining Room Manager (please see below for his personal introduction) So glad to have him aboard I would like to also mention Juan Solis and Victor Ramirez who have helped as interim managers / waitstaff while we found Victor A sincere thank you to both for your dedication and hard work
Thank you to membership regarding the dress code no issues lately; however, please respect your fellow members when using your phone Texting is not an issue, but please silence your ringer when in the club, and please take any phone calls into the hallway.
The House Committee discussed having a New Year’s Eve Party this year It has been our experience that members enjoy dinner at the club and ring in the new year at home or elsewhere. It was decided to forego a late party this year; however I/we are more than happy to host one if it is supported and well done We’ll communicate earlier next year to check on member interest via a quick survey
Lastly I realize that our website desperately needs to be updated Currently Tammie is working on an update which should take place early in the new year
Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season I look forward to seeing you around your club
Jeff

Our offerings are diversifying to meet our members’ taste preferences Through feedback, we have made some additions and changes For starters, our lunch buffets will now rotate concepts throughout the month We will have the same rotation monthly with different items weekly on our Friday lunch buffet Check the dining page in the newsletter to make plans to join us. We are adding more gluten free items like table crackers, breads, and desserts. Ask your service staff if you'd like to substitute bread on a sandwich, crackers with your soup, ceviche, shrimp cocktail, or any preferred item
Moving to the Members Lounge, we are now offering multiple different charcuterie boards to snack on while you enjoy a glass of wine or beverage A separate menu with five charcuterie boards is now available And finally, our Saturday soup has changed from navy bean to roasted red bell pepper and smoked gouda bisque. Great with a grilled cheese sandwich.
We have been enjoying the support during lunch buffets and are continuously changing to improve food and service Please allow us to make it the best with your continuous feedback on food and by making reservations

The Woman’s Spooktacular went well this year The weather was amazing and the golfers had a great time The tournament contestants always rave about the golf course and how well Patrick and crew takes care of it There were 40 golfers playing in this year ’ s event and they all loved the format The event was 27 holes each day 9 holes of low ball 9 holes of alternate shot and 9 holes of scramble In Flight Two, we had the team of Jacquie Johnson and Leslie Stephens, Leslie playing in her first event, tie for third place Unfortunately, they did not fare well in the playoff, but we are still excited to see them compete and do so well. In Flight One, we had another member group perform well; the team of Brittany Gabrielson and Beverly Stansberry finished in solo third place They birdied the final hole to secure their finish I want to thank all our members that participated; Abbey Ater, Beverly Stansberry, Brittany Gabrielson, Marianne Seal, Paik hee Nam, Jacquie Johnson, Leslie Stephens, Jody Jones, Linda Whitis and Keesha Zey It is always great to see our members out there grinding it out against the field, defending the home turf I have attached tournament results Tournament website is www mcc 2022spooktacular golfgenius com with the GGID : HCXYMK
