Dear MCC Members,
We continue to work toward completion of our Strategic Plan, I will share once finished.
One topic that comes up in my conversations with members is the names of our various rooms. As each have a somewhat different dress code, the names are more important to know than ever. I’ll be honest, in my 10 years here, I too have to think twice about the names – so here you go.
Members Lounge – bar area directly in front of the main entrance.
Mesquite – First room north of the Members Lounge
Pecan – First room south of Members Lounge
Hickory – casual room south of Pecan
Oak Room – large room for Sunday Brunch
Founders Lounge – far north room just north of the Oak Room I certainly hope that helps, but as always, the staff is more than happy to help find your room.
Please see the updated Delinquent Policy insert in the newsletter.
Also, please know that we continue with a full membership with a short waitlist. As I have stated many times: what a great time to be a member of McAllen Country Club.
If you haven’t signed up for CLUBSTER, please do so. The app helps us communicate directly to your phone.
With that, I look forward to seeing you around your club, Hannah

Dear Members,
I extend my gratitude to all who joined us in celebrating the Lantern Festival, the culmination of the Chinese New Year. It’s always a delight to share these moments with you each year.
Spring signals the beginning of something new at the McAllen Country Club. Our culinary team has been diligently crafting a fresh and exciting menu for the spring season. If you’ve experienced our Thursday features, you’ve already tasted what’s to come.
I also want to take a moment to acknowledge Judith Moreno, one of our dining room managers. She is meticulously preparing for a tea service I know the ladies will be delighted to participate in. The tea service will exemplify the attention to detail that defines our commitment to providing exceptional experiences.
Stay tuned for more details on our upcoming seasonal menu and other exciting events at the McAllen Country Club.

Dear Members,
I would like to take the time to highlight the incredible work the racquets staff has accomplished these last several months. The team of Hannia, Jeremiah, and Jacky demonstrated outstanding coordination, innovation, and dedication, contributing significantly to the department’s success. They have continued their education with the USPTA in both tennis and pickleball.
We have new junior and adult clinics. Also, they have enhanced the program with creative ideas for events. Their collaborative efforts led to remarkable accomplishments, setting a high standard for excellence, which has made for a better member experience. I am truly proud of the work they have done and wanted to recognize it.
We hope to see y’all soon on the courts!
Frank
