TEE IT UP
REMINDERS As the club gets busier with the better weather, there
MAY
are a few things to keep in mind.
May 1: Men’s Season Opener May 2: Donald Ross Society (course closed in PM) May 6: Ladies’ Day, 9am May 13: Ladies’ Day, 9am May 20: Ladies’ Day, 9am May 21: Friday Shoot-Out, 9:30am May 29: Men’s 1 Day Member-Member May 31: Memorial Day, course open
Golf Shop Hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm Tuesday through Sunday and the Practice Facility is open 30 minutes before our first tee time until 6:30pm with the exception of Sundays. On Sunday, we will close around 5:30pm in order to “clean pick” the range so that it can receive maintenance on Mondays. Daily Course Notes- Cart Rule and Practice Range closures are posted on top of the daily tee sheet as well
JUNE
as those on the daily tee sheet will receive our “Daily
June 1: course closed June 2-3: Ladies Spring Member-Member June 10: Ladies’ Day, 9am June 17-19: “1894 Cup”, course closed June 24: Ladies’ Day, 9am June 25: Friday Shoot-Out, 9:30am
Course Conditions” email each morning which will state cart restrictions as well as practice facility updates and any other important information for the day. Any time we have heavy rain the day before or overnight, always check the day’s tee sheet for daily notes on the cart rule and range conditions. You will find this by logging into the club’s website, go the “GOLF” tab and clicking on “Book a Tee Time”. Divot Repair procedure: Please remember to fill in your divots as often as possible with the divot you took. After 5 weeks, a divot filled in with the misplaced divot will be fully healed and back to normal playing condition, a divot filled with sand will still be healing. Pace of play is always an issue but especially with how busy we are not. 100+ rounds a day are the new “NORM” so keeping up is critical. As always, we are typically on the course multiple times a day to monitor but self-policing is always best! If you see the group behind you but can’t see the group in front of you, you are going too slow. Checking In: please stop in the Golf Shop to check-in, especially if you have guests coming for the day.
Congratulations to Andy White on his Hole-in-One at our April Men’s Ice-Breaker event on #6.

Congratulations to Ken Wilkes on his first Hole-inOne on #13 on April 17.

FITNESS MEET OUR NEWEST TRAINER: MADISON TAYLOR My name is Madison, I'm a certified personal trainer, with specializations in nutrition, pre/postnatal fitness, and pain-free movement. I have a passion for helping others change their lives and accomplish their goals. Eight years ago, I began my fitness journey losing over 40 pounds and regaining my personal power and happiness. This process gave me a strong drive and passion to share this knowledge and experience with others. I began professionally training six years ago, which led to growth opportunities in overseeing entire training programs, departments, and health club locations... but none of this brought me joy like working directly with my clients because that is where my passion lies - WITH YOU! I primarily focus on weight loss and muscle/ strength building but also have experience working with competitive runners and a variety of athletes in improving and supporting their craft. I believe everyone is more capable than they know and it is my mission to help realize this potential with my clients. Taking a sustainable approach, together, we focus on developing long-term healthy habits that are both practical and effective in achieving your fitness goals. It's time for you to feel strong, capable, and confident. CONTACT MADISON: (p) 978.317.1984 | (e) madisonmuscles@gmail.com Join in on her HIIT Fitness Class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00am out on the back lawn.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL “I cannot recommend Madison highly enough! She is an incredible trainer who develops plans that are tailored to your individual goals and needs. She happily kicks your butt, as all trainers should, but is always open to being flexible and changing things that are not working for you. She always establishes and maintains an open line of communication and she takes your comments and concerns seriously.
Madison helped me develop insane confidence in the gym and was always pushing me to try new things and push myself constantly. She also helped me develop a much healthier and balanced mindset when it comes to health and fitness and helped me to develop a lot of tools for learning to love my body and treat it well. The weight loss became an exciting second benefit, but the most important was all the mental changes Madison helped me to make. While Madison is incredibly knowledgeable about her field, it is her passion and caring that truly set her apart from the rest. She will be just as excited, if not more, about your progress and there is no one better at pumping you up when you need it. “ -Amy T.

KIDS CLUB This Summer, Kids Club will be on select Friday nights each month. Parents will be required to be dining on the property for their children to attend. Parents do not have to remain on the property for the entire event though. Hours will be extended from 5:00pm to 9:00pm for the summer. We will also be increasing capacity and splitting the kids into two groups based on their age. Dinner is always provided by the club so please let us know if your child has any allergies that we need to be aware of when registering.
