COOKIE OF THE MONTH James R Patterson, III | PNCC Food & Beverage Director

Cookies and Cream

This is a cookie for folks of all ages, as a child Oreos was a favorite treat of mine, now I find myself with the desire of Classics with Simple Twists. Here we have a Traditional Butter Cookie Recipe with the addition of Cream Cheese and Oreos. Have a Glass of Milk or Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream to further enhance this Sweet Treat!

Add the butter and beat until combined, scraping down the sides and up the bottom of the bowl as needed. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat on mediumhigh speed until smooth and creamy, about two minutes. Add the egg and vanilla, and beat on high speed until combined, about one minute. Scrape down the sides and up the bottom of the bowl, and beat again as needed to combine. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low

minutes before rolling and baking because the dough will be quite hard. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside. Roll cookie dough, a heaping 1½ tablespoons of dough per cookie, and place three inches apart on the baking sheets. Bake for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned on the sides. The centers will look very soft. Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

During Club events players will be notified as follows: Discontinuance of Play for Dangerous Situation: A suspension of play for a dangerous situation will be signaled by 1 long air horn blast.
