December 8th: Mrs Claus | 1PM Shotgun

December 10th: Ebeneezer Golf Outing

December 24th: Tee Times from 8AM 10AM Shop closes at Noon.

December 25th: All Facilities Closed With the time change, we will be adjusting the hours for the practice area This includes the short game area and driving range Monday Closed

Please remember to rake the practice bunkers after you are done and repair ball marks on the practice greens. The short game tees are not meant for someone to drop a bucket of balls and hit to a green. This tears up the teeing area and really leaves a lot of ball marks on the greens that are not easily repaired. Please use the driving range for that type of practice We have a one of a kind short game area, let’s do our part to keep it nice

PACE OF PLAY

Please remember our pace of play time is 4 hrs and 8 minutes for 18 holes Here are a few hints to help your groups with pace of play:

New golfers or high handicap players should use the forward tees

Allow faster groups to play through Minimize practice swings.

Put a ball mark repair tool, two ball makers and tees into your pocket at the first tee

Take the divot bottle that is on the cart, to your next shot so that you do not have to go back for it after the shot. Carry a spare ball in your pocket so that you do not have to go back to your bag when you need to hit a provisional ball

Take more than one club to your next shot

If you are the cart driver, drop off your passenger at their ball before proceeding to your own ball

If you are the passenger, take more than one club to your shot and proceed down the fairway after your shot. Do not wait for the driver to pick you up. When in doubt hit a provisional ball Eliminate the need to go back to where you hit your last shot

Limit your search for a lost ball to three minutes

If your next shot is with your pitching wedge or sand wedge, automatically take your putter with you.

Leave golf bags at a point beside the green that is en route to the next tee

Park golf carts to the side or behind the green so that when you finish putting you will be moving away from the field of play and towards the next tee

Study your line of putt while others are putting. Continue putting until your ball is holed

If you are the first in the cup, pick up the flagstick so that you can replace it after the last person has putted out. Mark scorecards on the next tee box, not on or next to the putting

green

On shots where players who cannot reach the green should hit when ready Always keep up with the group ahead of you

GripSpecial

Look for our re gripping special in January and February. Slick or worn grips cause a lot of tension in the hands and arms, which then causes poor swings! Try some new grips, you might just be amazed at what a difference they make!

POST | GOLF PAGE 23 AnnualStorageFees This is a friendly reminder that Locker, Bag Storage and Handicap fees will be processed in January Bag Storage $85/yr Locker Rental $60/yr Handicap Fee $40/yr

BUNKER RENOVATIONS

During the renovation, rounds played at our sister McConnell Golf properties will not apply towards the 12 rounds per year and 6 rounds at a single McConnell Golf property policy.

We will close 9 holes at a time during the renovation. The remaining nine holes will be open for PNCC member play only throughout the renovation.

Weekday Morning Tee Times

During the week (Tuesday Friday) tee times will be available for 18 hole play in the morning starting at 8am.

Members will be able to reserve tee times between 8am 10am and then the tee times from 10am noon will be blocked.

Weekday Afternoon Tee Times

After 12 noon, the tee times will be available as normal for 9 hole play. A member can play 18 holes if the tee sheet allows. Please check with the Pro Shop on the day of play.

The booking process will remain the same as it currently is during the week, starting at 6:30 am.

Weekend Tee Times

Weekend tee times will be set up similar to the weekdays with 18 hole play blocked in the mornings and then the afternoon opening for 9 hole play starting at noon.

Weekend tee time requests may be made on the tee sheet, it will be set up just like an event. This is a bit different than originally announced.

The request will need to have the preferred day, time of day preference, 9 or 18 holes and other members in the group. Please “No TBD” or false names.

The weekend tee sheet will be created by Tuesday evening. The Golf staff will make the individual tee times. An email notification will be sent to all members with a tee time.

Members will be restricted to one of the weekend days to allow as many members as possible to play.

Saturday we will concentrate on 18 hole play requests in the morning, but Sunday we will most likely adjust to accommodate more of the 9 hole requests.

Once the tee sheet has been updated with requests, any open spots will be allowed to book by Wednesday at 6:30 am.

Local Golfing Opportunities

We were able to set up special PNCC Member rates at the following local courses. Guests of PNCC members may have to pay the standard guest fee for each individual club. PNCC members must arrange times through the PNCC Golf Staff.
