FOLDS OF HONOR GOLF MARATHON June 1st, 2021 On a nice morning on the 1st of June, the pro staff at The Reserve participated in a 100 hole golf marathon to raise money for the Folds of Honor. We would like to start by giving a big thanks to all of our members for their amazing donations for this event. Once it was all said and done, The Reserve raised $8,195 to be donated to the Folds of Honor. Our day started at 6:15 in the morning as we were putting through the dew on our first 18. As you saw on the cover, we had giant US flags on the back of our carts. Our members saw the flags and cheered us on as they let us play through. To reach 100 holes we had to play five 18 hole rounds, 9 holes and then one extra. Averaging about 2.5 hours for each 18, we were able to make our way around fairly quick. At 7:23 pm, we stood on the 100th hole teebox and made our way to the finish. Exhausted, we made our final putts on hole 100. Thank you again to all of you for your support and donations.

FROM THE PRO SHOP WHICH BALL IS RIGHT FOR YOU? Playing the right golf ball is important to your golf game. Playing the incorrect ball can actually in ways, hurt your golf game. Sometimes players are playing balls that are too hard and they have a hard time getting the most out of the ball. On the same hand, a ball that is too soft can be too soft for some players with higher clubhead speeds. Here we have included some of the balls we have available in the shop and some of the specifications on how they may be able to help you.
Titleist AVX
Titleist TruFeel
-Low spin on Woods & Irons, higher spin on wedges.
-Low spinning ball on both your long and short clubs.
-Low launching ball flight and a softer feel around the greens.
-Low launching ball flight and very soft feel on long and short game.
-This ball is made for the low handicapper that is looking for a ball that is lower spinning while still being soft around the greens.
-This ball is perfect for players with a medium to low clubhead speed. The ball gives reduced spin off the tee which can lead to straighter shots.
Callaway Chromesoft / X
Callaway ERC Soft
-Both the Chromesoft and the X are designed for low spin on the long clubs and higher spin around the greens.
-Low spinning, high launching ball that is intended to improve distance off the tee.
-Chromesoft X is the higher launching of the two. -The Chromesoft X is a soft ball and the standard Chromesoft is the softer of the two. The Chromesoft is designed for more forgiveness while the Chromesoft X promotes a higher ball flight and more workability.
Taylormade Soft Response -High spinning ball with a soft feel off the tee and around the greens.. -The Soft Response is designed for a mid spin on wedges and a low spin on the longer clubs. -This is the perfect ball for the mid to high handicapper that is looking for a soft ball with a higher ball flight that launches off the face of the club. THE RESERVE REVIEW
-Maintains a soft feel around the greens
-Perfect ball for those who look to hit it far and straight and aren't worried about working the ball in any direction.
Taylormade TP5/TP5x -TP5x is a high launching ball and the TP5 promotes an even higher launch. -TP5 is a high spinning ball and TP5x is designed to promote more spin. -Both balls have minimal differences but it is important to know the differences between the two to benefit your game. This is an ideal ball for low handicappers looking for maximum playability. PAGE PAGE 7 9
