OPERATION 36 JUNIOR PROGRAM As we are gearing up for our fourth season with the Operation 36 program, we would love to share some of the reasons we know you will love it. Operation 36 is centered around on-course improvement Rather than preparing for months to get on the course. We will be having our first 9-hole event in Week #2. All golfers will start at 25 yards from the green, rather than the tee box, giving the beginners an earlier chance for success. We are all working together to beat the course and improve enough to shoot 36 or better. If your junior has been a part of our program before, they will begin from the yardage they left off on last season. Weekly Small Group Classes with a Curriculum Instead of the occasional clinic or lesson, our program will be offered weekly to increase practice and performance. Our coaching staff will deliver the Operation 36 curriculum in a fun and social environment each week. We will also participate in weekly games/activities to sharpen our skills with one another. Earn points for playing/practicing and tracking progress Participants will be able to log when they practice and play to earn points for their profile and our community. We will compete with other communities around the world playing Operation 36 in monthly challenges. The more we play and practice outside of class, the more points we earn and the higher we move up the leaderboard. After each 9-hole event, the coaching staff will log your scores in the app which will help to track your progress in the program. This program has been very successful at over 500 golf clubs all over the world, and it has been a tremendous success here at Wakefield. In fact, one of our Coaches, Erica Britt was chosen as one of the TOP 50 Operation 36 Coaches in the Country this past season. We are excited to add even more excitement this year and will be offering an optional Enrollment Pack each season. SUMMER CAMPS & TOURNAMENTS FUNDAMENTAL GOLF CAMP June 22nd - 25th I July 13th - 16th Ages: 5-9 I Time: 9:00am-12:00pm Fee: $195 I Lunch/Activities/Golf: $270 The FUNdamental Golf Camp is geared for juniors aged 5-9 and welcomes golfers of all levels of experience and skill! This four-day experience will help your junior to improve all aspects of his or her game, including driving, irons, chipping, pitching, bunkers, rules, etiquette, and an introduction to our Elite Operation 36 Program. During the camp, the instructors will encourage your junior to set goals while also understanding the commitment it takes in order to see improvement. We will incorporate some fun games and popsicles! Each junior will receive a FUNdamental Golf Guide Folder, a tool designed to help them track their progress through the week and a WP Junior Golf water bottle. If your camper would like to stay longer, we have an extended camp portion that runs from 12pm-3pm which includes lunch, swimming and activities. OPERATION 36 ELITE JUNIOR GOLF CAMP June 29th - July 2nd I July 20th - 23rd Ages 9-14 I Time: 9:00am-3:00pm Fee: $395 The Wakefield Plantation Operation 36 Elite Camp is a progressive four-day experience which will focus on all aspects of your junior’s game through one-on-one instruction as well as group activities, competitions and on course testing. Each junior will receive an Operation 36 Login in order to track your child’s progress throughout the camp. Juniors will also receive a personalized binder with an improvement plan reflecting their stated goals and level of commitment, take home activities and more. Each junior will be able to utilize JC video swing analysis, showing their progress from the beginning to the completion of camp. This program is a tremendous addition to Wakefield and is one your child can utilize throughout the year.
