DRAGONDEER
PROMOTIONAL PHOTO REVEAL
Note: Whenever I do images for bands, I tend to leave plenty of space for typography, logotype, or any other elements that may be required. These photos are built for use on web or even to sell on your merchandise table. You will recieve two folders of edited images: 1) full size imagery for print and 2) web sized photos for anything online.
THE ART PIECE This particular image marks something I’ve never seen for promotional use. Using our iPhone we projected your images behind you while lighting off to the side. It provides a moody, somewhat avant feel that came out spectacularly. I’m extremely proud of the work y’all did in the studio and I think this combination of images grabs your band’s vibe extremely well while offering an artistic notion that’s new and ahead of a current curve.
POTENTIAL USABILITY 1) admat poster 2) social media imagery 3) advertisement 4) web-site header 5) band poster 6) insert for vinyl 7) merch table print
THE SECONDARY ART PIECE Wow! This came out AWESOME! I’m so stoked to have the bright colors and a wildly artistic notion. Taking the current wave of 3-D-esque shadow effects that’s pretty popular right now, we tweaked it to make our own version. With the assistance of plenty of Photoshop, we were able to bring out a lot more color (in particular magenta/purple - which according to most trends is the new ‘millenial pink’ this year). Once again ahead of a curve, this image came out fantastic!
POTENTIAL USABILITY 1) primary promotional image 2) social media imagery 3) show announcements (print/web) 4) web-site header 5) tour poster 6) EPK imagery 7) merch table print
THE PROMOTIONAL PHOTO Utilizing the projector, we took these incredible shots to give a super interesting twist to a modern promotional image. Almost reflecting a red filter on the lens, we threw in a splash of yellow to provide movement and depth to a purposefully stagnant image.
POTENTIAL USABILITY 1) day-to-day announcements 2) web-site banner 3) social media imagery 4) show laminate 5) insert for vinyl 6) advertisement
POTENTIAL USABILITY 1) radio one-sheet
2) social media imagery 3) show announcements (print/web) 4) EPK image 5) day-to-day announcements
THE ALT-STANDARD SHOTS I love the “standard” shots at Rocky Mountain Arsenal. However, we took these images one step farther to create an in-camera double exposure. This is a style you see a ton of nowadays, and it’s extremely handy and awesome to have on hand as a usable series of images.
THE STANDARD SHOTS
Far from most perceptions of what a
“standard” photo may look like, these images ground us in reality and give the perfect organic feel to supplement the bright colors and avant look that we’d established with the art pieces. There’s a bunch of these that are amazing to have for day-to-day use.
POTENTIAL USABILITY 1) radio one-sheet 2) social media imagery 3) show announcements (print/web) 4) EPK image 5) day-to-day announcements 6) publications that require vertical images
AS ALWAYS, IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS/CONCERNS Please have your representative reach out to myself or Doug. Again, you all are so awesome to work with, and I hope we have the chance to do it again soon. All of your images (these and a few more standard/fun ones) will appear in full and web sizes in your Dropbox in the next day or two.
