e’re a locally grown, locally supported festival that came about in 2010. My brother Mark came to me with the idea of throwing a festival, after traveling to Europe for music. He came back with the dream, but wasn’t sure how to bring that dream into reality. As he began to review what it takes to actually throw a festival he became overwhelmed. Dealing with business’ and having knowledge of the business world, I stepped in and we quickly formed a solid partnership. What Mark excels in, I compliment and visa versa. Together we’ve been able to create a unique activity for the Idaho Springs Valley and gratefully been the propulsion for other local individuals to reach for their dreams and make them a reality. We were so pleased with the possibility of showcasing local talent that we decided to have proceeds go to a scholarship education fund to help financially support local high school students in reaching for their dreams. Not enough emphasis and encouragement has been placed on music and arts that we wanted to encourage those who had a passion to go for it. Our parents always supported being unique and following our heart that we wanted to spread that. Having four years now under our belt, we’ve been able to give to fire relief funds, as well as give back to the wonderful community who’s supported us. - Sarah Morris
