Camp Courtney Located in Uruma City along the Pacific coast south of Camp Hansen, Camp Courtney has living facilities for family members and provides many quality-of-life-enhancing amenities for families such as two banks, a theater, a bowling center, an education center and library, a Tsunami Scuba outlet and a commissary, Exchange (with a food court) and Exchange Express for quick shopping. Camp Courtney also has a child development center (the Chura Warabi Center) as well as a youth and a teen center and a skate park. For fitness and recreation, Camp Courtney has a fully equipped fitness center with free weights, strength machines, an outdoor functional fitness area, FREE group fitness classes, cardio-
vascular training equipment such as treadmills and stationary bikes, a LifeJuice Café serving smoothies and freshly-squeezed juices and more. Known as the Ironworks Fitness Center, the facility is also equipped with basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts and multipurpose fields for organized sports. For dining, Camp Courtney offers many fast food offerings such as Burger King and Taco Bell as well as clubs and restaurants. Tengan Castle, a family-friendly restaurant with brunch on Sundays, family night on Thursdays and Mongolian BBQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays, is very popular and also offers catering services. The Bayview E-Club offers “bigger, better” Bulldogs Burgers for hearty eaters. Entertainment offered

at Bayview includes DJs, live music and more. Hashmarks SNCO Club offers a gaming room, lounge and a bar. Chapultepec’s NCO Club is in the same building as Hashmarks and features pool tables, a dance floor, lounge and bar. Legends Officers’ Club, located on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean framed by Uruma City’s skyline across the bay, offers a special social hour with hors d’oeuvres every Friday evening. Legends also offers “3rd Fridays,” featuring a more robust complimentary selection of happy hour hors d’oeuvres. All Camp Courtney clubs are available for party reservations every day except Fridays.
