MCX: Marine Corps Exchange
Our newly renovated MCX Exchange is a one stop shop for all military families, DOD employees, and retired military; it is our highest traffic location aboard MCAS Yuma. The MCX Exchange consists of a barber shop, laundry mat, military uniform store, firearm, tobacco, liquor sales, men’s and women’s clothing and shoes, household items, jewelry, electronics, hygiene and basic needs products, appliances, Armed Forces Bank, and GNC. MCX Exchange also encompasses a food court which offers Starbucks, Carl’s Jr., Benito’s Pizza, Rice King Chinese Food, and Subway.

After Burner 4-Sided Table Top Display The Afterburner is a Mexican restaurant that sits right on the flight line. Patrons watch jets depart and arrive as they dine on authentic burritos and tacos. We have a four-sided swivel table top display on the tables, which each one holds four quarter page ads and a section in the center for take away brochures. An average of 6,300 patrons per month.

MCAS Yuma Theater Advertising
MCAS Yuma has a 300 seat movie theater. The theater shows new movies once daily Monday - Thursday and twice daily Friday - Sunday. Each showing is preceded by a 30 minute advertising presentation, which provides businesses the opportunity to advertise two slides prior to each showing. Slides may be static, Power-point, or 30 second or less commercials.

Fitness is a cornerstone of the Military culture; it is not only encouraged but required. The station gym is free to all active duty members, their families and DOD employees making this the second highest traffic location at MCAS Yuma. Welcome Aboard Brief The Relocation Assistance Program provides helpful information for inbound personnel covering topics such as, housing benefits, entitlements, events, and special needs. MCAS Yuma Airshow Product Display & Booth MCAS Yuma hosts an annual Air Show open to the public in the months of February or March. The MCAS Yuma Air Show event brings an attendance of 35,000 – 55,000 people from Yuma and surrounding areas and has been voted Yuma’s Best Free Event for several years. Our basic packages include a 10x10 booth, a table and two chairs beneath a sunshade on the flight line.

MCAS Special Events 2014 Monthly/Quarterly Events Spa Nights
This is a stress relief and coping class for military spouses, in which we ask that a sponsor attend to provide stress relieving projects and services. This event is conducted 6 to 8 times throughout the year. In addition, MCFTB provides attendees with resources that could help them through the hardships that military family members may face. Family Nights at the Station Library First Tuesday of Month, 4 - 5 pm
Family Nights are themed programs that provide an opportunity for families to visit the Station Library one night each month for a fun-filles hour. These programs cover a variety of topics often present by guest presenters, from Bicycle Safety and Healthy Snacks to Reptiles and Superheroes! They also include a craft or snack that parent/caregivers and children can create together. Sponsorship ideas include food or snacks for families, supplies for crafts, providing a presenter to support a theme, coupons and gift certificates. Youth Center Events Various Events every month
By sponsoring our Youth Center you will be helping to shape the future of children ages 6 to 18 years old. Our Youth Center hosts events throughout each month that attract at least 100 children. Sponsors have the opportunity to attend these events, provide prizes, and have forms of advertising within the Youth Center. The Youth Center would benefit with sponsorship in the form of snacks and beverages during events, and prize giveaways in the form of gift certificates. This is a mandatory brief in which all Active Duty must attend (spouses may come as well) in which they are provided with information about the base, the city of Yuma, and resources that are available to them. Spouse Welcome Aboard Bus Tour Quarterly
Our Relocation Assistance Program provides a quarterly tour for spouses so that they can become more familiar with MCAS Yuma and the city of Yuma. The bus voyages from MCAS Yuma, to Lake Martinez, AWC, downton Yuma, and more. We can also make stops at sponsor locations. February 1, 2014 Weekend Pledge Challenge
We want our Marines to be healthy physically and mentally, and we greatly support the mission to promote responsibly alocohol consumtion. This is why our Single Marine Program is hosting the Weekend Pledge Challenge. This is a unit to unti challenge in which units are encouraged to participate in a alcohol-free weekend. There will be several events to choose from including a 48 hour video game challenge- there will be three different locations withing the SMP Rec Center that will be hosting the tournament. Free food for all who attend, and prizes will be awarded to the winning units. Sponsors are encouraged to attend the event in support of providing Marines with health lifestyle choices. Sponsor mentions will also be provided at the event. Sponsors can help provide the video games, game consoles, food, beverages, prizes.

This 5K run is an open base event (civilians welcome) and will include obstacle courses, fun, and mud of course. There will also be a Li’l Mudder which will be a mini muddy course for the kiddos. In addition to a muddy race, the event is set to have entertainment (DJ/Bands), food/ drinks, and beer. This run is part of our MCAS Yuma Race Series which also include the Firehose 5K and the Dead Dash 5K. Prizes will be awarded to top male, female and group finishers.

This is an annual event in which we invite sponsors to help us promote savings and financial stability within the Marine Corps. April 2, 2014 Biggest Loser Finale; 4 pm - 6 pm
The Biggest Loser Challenge is a twelve week weight loss challenge. Teams of 4 will compete to lose the most body weight percentage. Based of the TV show, teams will work together to motivate each other to exercise and eat better. The finale will be held on April 2 with awards and prizes to the top male and female and team. Sponsors can provided prizes to winners in the form of work out gear or gift certificates. Sponsors will receive ROI on the website, Facebook, and at the event. Estimated Attendance: 100 (25 teams) Primary Market: 60% female, 40% male, mixture of Active Duty, spouses and DoD civilians.
In support of the military community and in an effort to enhance their future, Marine Corps Community Services hosts a Career and Education Fair for Active Duty, Retirees, and dependents. We solicit for employers and higher education institutes to attend this event for free. All sponsorship fund generated go torwards purchasing refreshments during the event, and assist with the printing of the career and education resource guide that is provided for free to all attendees (sponsors who assist financially can had ad space in the publication).
May/June- Annual Event Health & Safety Fair
All Active Duty attend this Health & Safety Fair as part of the 101 Days of Summer initiative. We provide our Marines with as much information to keep them safe and healthy during the summer months. Information is dissemminated about motorcycel safey, water consumption, responsible alcohol consumption, healthy eating, fitness, and behavioral/mental health. We invite sponsors to come and man a booth and provide our Marines with information and tips. Prizes, beverages, and food would be great ways to sponsor. When school lets out we ask that children join us for some amazing fun at the Station Library. Our theme for the 2014 Summer Reading Program is Paws to Read! June 7, 2014 Fire Hose 5K Fun Run
The Fire Hose 5K Fun Run has turned into a signature MCAS Yuma and city of Yuma community event. This event is open to the public. Approximately 400 people participate in this 5K where they get sprayed with a fire hose by our MCAS Yuma fire men throughout the race course as spectators cheer them on until they reach the finish line. Each registrant will receive a Fire Hose 5K t-shirt, and trophies are given to 1 st, 2nd, and 3rd place in different categories during the awards ceremony. Race begins at 6:30 am. Sponsors are highly encouraged to attend this event and provide beverages, snacks, and entertainment to participants and specators (a great way to showcase your products/services). All sponsorship funds go torwards prizes, trophies and t-shirts (in-kind can be accepted). Logos can be placed on trophies, awards, t-shirts, advertisements. July 30, 2014 Back to School Resource Fair
The Back to School Resource Fair is hosted before the school year begins. During this event, several non-profit organizations receive booth space and provide kid friendly information to parents to include recreational activities, teaching aids, volunteer opportunities, etc. Approximately 500 people, to include parents and children attend this back to school events. Funding if typically used to provide children with school supplies such as pencils, backpacks, paper, crayons, colored pencils, etc. Estimated Attendance: 300 Primary Market: Parents with school aged children
September 19, 2013 MCAS Yuma Day for Kids
Day for Kids is open to all military personnel, DoD civilian employees and their family members. As an affiliate member of the Boys & Girls Club of America, MCCS Yuma joins together to celebrate the importance of establishing stronger relationships between adults and youth with this day specifically dedicated to kids. This one day event is scheduled to be held at the Youth Center, building 1050 on Martini Ave., is a day set aside each year to celebrate and honor America’s youth by spending meaningful time with them and building community. June 2 - September 30, 2014 Days of the week vary; 7 to 9 pm Single Marine Program- Adult Swim
During this event we help our Single Marines cool off from the Yuma heat. The only people allowed access to the Oasis Pool during Adult Swim are Marines who live in the barracks. We provide a free BBQ, music and free pool admission. Alcohol can be consumed, but ID’s are required for approval. We encourage sponsors who want to reach our Single Marine market to come out and have a good time with our Single Marines.Sponsors can help support food and beverages or possibly some form of entertainment. We blow up the gian outdoor screen, and Single Marines can”huddle” around it to watch the Monday night game. In addition, Single Marines can challenge one another to game of Madden and win prizes. October 2014 Semper Fierce and Fabulous
A morale building event in its 6th year. The evening is billed as a girls’ night out and consists of a comedy show, door prizes, food, wine tasting, dessert bar networking, photos and fun. This event is organized with the goal of helping to relieve the stress of attending the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Each attendee has the opportunity to receive prizes from our sponsors. All gowns are donated. In addition, military spouses often need help finding a salon to help with mani/pedis and hair to help make their MC Ball evening a special one; so we highly

October 25, 2014 Dodge of the Dead
While this dodgeball event is hosted by the Single Marine Program, this event is open to all Active Duty. We encourage each unit to have at least on team representing the squadron. All teams must be in come type of costume or body paint, and we highly encourage teams to have a costume theame. During dodgeball halftime, there will be a dance party performed by Single Marine Program members, sponsors are more than welcomed to present a half-time number. Food, music and candy will be provided to all (sponsorship support would be greatly appreciated for these items). October 31, 2014 Dead Dash 5K
This is an open base event, which means civilians are welcomed to participate. Racers will be running for their lives as they try to dodge the zombies that will be lurking about the race course. To stay alive you must cross the finish line with your race flag(s). This event will also have food/snacks and entertainment following the race. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Booth setup is available for sponsors who would like to attend. November 20, 2014 Great American Smokeout
The Great American Smoke Out (GASO) is an event that encourages participants to quit using tobacco for one day or forever. This is an awareness event that offers information about tobacco use, quit aids, and assistance. Give-a-ways and information will be passed out with expertise advice available on hand. Sponsorship ideas included, cash, prizes, beverages, snacks. Booths can be set up for sponsors at the event. December 12, 2014 All Wrapped Up Christmas Event
This is our Annual Family Appreciation Day event presented by the Marine Corps Exchange, but all of our MCCS Yuma programs participate. During the event we have a tree lighting ceremony presented by the base CO, holiday music, food samples provided by sponsors, prize giveaways, and snow. We are reaching out to potential sponsors and requesting assistance with saying “thank you” to our service members and their families by giving away some great presents or prizes. We are looking for prizes in the form of merchandise, coupons, gift certificates and cash to help purchase the snow. We would appreciate anything. Of course, all of our sponsors will receive ROI- we can provide booth set up at the event, advertising on the base, logos on advertisements, mentions on social media, web advertising, and mentions or “thank you” at the event.
