Spring 2023 An exciting ALL NEW collection for 2023!
H
appy New Year! As we all settle back into our daily routines following the holidays, we are eager to dream about the new year ahead and Spring’s impending arrival. Our new 2023 Spring Supplement is one of our most expansive and diverse to date with nearly 180 brand new images by 29 artists with subjects including Abstract, Contemporary, Photography, Coastal, Floral, Landscape, and Wildlife – something for everyone (and every room!) We are delighted to welcome 6 new artists in this collection (yes, 6!): James Corwin, Martin Ridley, Suzanne Siegel, Elizabeth St. Hilaire, Esther van Hulsen, and Greg Wilson. James Corwin gathers inspiration and references for his intimate and innovative wildlife images from his frequent travels around the world. English artist Martin Ridley uses conceptual composition, close attention to animal behavior and habitats to create both accurate and artistic renderings of his wildlife subjects. Suzanne Siegel creates cozy contemporary coastal and rural landscapes in pastel and watercolor that make viewers feel like they are coming home. Elizabeth St. Hilaire’s unique mixed media spring landscapes and florals are sure to delight with luscious colors and textures. Dutch artist Esther van Hulsen’s vivid wildlife images are nearly photorealistic in their precision. Greg Wilson’s authentic wildlife images are drawn from his time spent in the mountains in pursuit of the animals found around his home in Utah. Since we have far too many new images to feature in this collection, the work of these new wildlife artists will be showcased in our upcoming Wildlife supplement coming out next month. In addition to these new artists, this new collection includes a range of new abstracts by Alicia Dunn, Ann Solo, Cathe Hendrick, Jeannie Sellmer, Margaret Juul, and Nancy Ortenstone, new photography by Art Wolfe, Elizabeth Kay, and Jason Savage, new contemporary landscapes and florals by Elissa Gore, Dora Knuteson, Karen Mathison Schmidt, Libby Smart, Michelle Brunner, Robert Moore, Peggy Davis, and Sandy Dooley, and new wildlife images by Art Wolfe, Benedicte Gele, Dora Knuteson, Jason Savage, Kelly Singleton, Mary Jean Ruhnke, Molly Sims, Russell Cobane, and Sarah Stribbling. We hope that you enjoy this new collection & we wish you health and happiness in the new year ahead! Your Friends at McGaw Graphics

New Artists 2023
Elizabeth St. Hilaire Elizabeth St. Hilaire is an award-winning full-time artist, art workshop instructor, and published author. Her unique mixed-media artwork is created from torn tidbits of hand-painted paper. St Hilaire’s collages are collected and have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and images of her work are reproduced and available nationwide on wall canvas, household items, stationery, clothing, jewelry, and more. St Hilaire is a Signature Member of National Collage Society, holds a BFA from Syracuse University, and has been working in her medium for over 12 years.
Esther van Hulsen Born in the Netherlands in 1981, Esther Van Hulsen completed a Bachelors in Communicative Design and Scientific Illustration at the historic Dutch Art Academy Minerva, founded in 1798. Ever since she has been working as a professional wildlife artist. She moved to Norway in 2006, where she and her husband Stian live surrounded by beautiful forests and fjords and abundant wildlife. Van Hulsen’s award-winning work has appeared in a broad range of publications worldwide, including National Geographic and American Falconry Magazine. Her originals are featured in numerous museum collections in both Europe and the United States, and she was also the principal artist for 22 books on natural history and paleontology. The Internet and frequent travel to faraway places keep her connected with global wildlife and her many followers.
Greg Wilson Wildlife artist Greg Wilson spends much of his time in the mountains in pursuit of the animals around his home in Utah. It is not unusual for Greg to set off for days, with camera and sketchpad in hand, in search of that picturesque scene that he can bring to life in an oil painting. Greg’s childhood interest and dream as a young adult has turned into a satisfying and successful career. His artwork can now be found on magazine covers and in major art collections throughout the country. Wilson attended the Colorado Institute of Art and Utah State University. His work has been on many covers of wildlife magazines as well as on state wildlife publications. He has also received recognition and awards from wildlife foundations and national art shows and has been listed as an “artist to watch” in industry publications.

James Corwin James Corwin gathers his inspiration and references for his wildlife art from frequent travels around the world. The purpose behind each piece he creates is to elicit an emotion from the viewer, and to draw them in to share an intimate moment with the story unfolding inside each painting. His other goal is to bring the beauty of nature to each viewer, created as a reflection of how he sees the world and to preserve its fragility by giving back. By providing the utmost quality and innovation in his painting, he aims to create a sustaining legacy of integrity and loyalty with his collectors, art and conservation. Represented by over 30+ galleries nationwide including his own, Corwin Galleries, James is quickly becoming the preeminent wildlife artist of our time. He is prestigiously collected nationally and internationally through both private and corporate collections.
Martin Ridley Wildlife artist Martin Ridley was born in Liverpool in 1967. When he was a child, his room was full of nature artefacts and artwork, indications of his future obsessions. He went on to study wildlife illustration at the Carmarthenshire College of Technology and Art, after which time he became a self-employed artist having many successful exhibitions and opportunities. In 2018 one of his images was licensed by Stella McCartney for a shirt worn by Justin Timberlake at the Superbowl halftime show. Now residing in Perthshire, Scotland, Ridley is inspired by the area’s seashore and mountain plateaus. In his work, conceptual composition, attention to animal behavior and habitat detail are combined to create an accurate and yet artistic rendering of subjects.
Suzanne Siegel Suzanne is an award winning painter who works in watercolor, pastels, and painted paper collage. Her ideas arise from what she sees in places where she feels most at home, whether on long walks on the beach or driving through the countryside. Her keen interest in color, shape, and texture inform her vision, and she is always on the lookout for visual elements that excite her eye and mind. Suzanne works in her studio nearly every day because “this is where I come alive” she states. She begins each day by drawing her compositional ideas, or painting papers with layers of texture or solid color, depending on what is needed. With a color idea in mind, she chooses a few papers that excite her eye, and that harmonize well together, and the search for magic begins.
