A word from Team Chauncy Naremburn’s 2018-2019 financial year sales figures were slightly lower compared to the previous year with a total of 41 sales, down from 49. We've also recorded a small decrease in the average property sale price which now sits at $2,191,463, down 9.5%. After a sluggish start to the financial year due to record low stock levels, the past six months have generated a lot of increased activity, which gives us a strong indication that the market has settled and looking like getting much stronger in the months ahead. In fact, our highest sale price for the year was $3,870,000 - $300,000 higher than last year. The McGrath Crows Nest office continues to be the driving force in the Naremburn area with a market share of 71%. We sold 29 of the total 41 sales in the suburb, while our nearest competitor sold two. We are growing from strength to strength and finished at number one for Sydney Metro in the entire McGrath network for the financial year and were ranked number 8 in the Real Estate Business Top 100 agents Australia-wide. Peter was also honoured to have recently received the prestigious John McGrath Award at the
company’s annual awards night for his outstanding contribution to the company over the last 15 years. The future is looking bright and we’re excited to be coming up to our tenth year sponsoring the Willoughby Community Preschool while continuing to support the Naremburn Community Gardens and the Progress Association. Each of these organisations provide an important facility for the community and we’re proud to be associated with them. The recent months have shown a lot of momentum and its gearing up to be a thriving spring property market.
