s the winter months settle in, it’s getting harder and harder to muster up the courage to step outside and brave the elements. Or, so we thought. Australia abounds in breathtaking weekend getaways, and for the winter period we’ve seen increased tourism numbers head southwards to Tasmania. Initiatives like Dark MOFO – a citywide fine arts, music and culture festival in Hobart – continue to draw big visitor numbers. Suffice to say, we’ve found what has to be one of the most inspiring hotspots to hit Australia’s holidaying scene to date.
