KINCUMBER EDITION
DIANNE BULMER
2018 is upon us and with it comes the promise of great growth and change. As part of our own expansion and growth, we´re excited to launch our Home Front newsletter, which is specifically designed to help property owners stay educated around the market and whats happening in the area. You have received this newsletter in the hopes that you will find great value in its content and that it will aid you in your own property goals in the future.
With each passing year, businesses change, economies rise and fall, children age and grow (adults stay the same age, of course), and the internet, in truth it sees perhaps the most change of all. We understand life is busy so you don´t have to monitor those trends. We will do it for you.

A Word From John McGrath I was up on the Coast last week and I had a few people ask me what I thought the future of the local market over the next few years. To which I answered, “It will be one of the best real estate markets in Australasia, stay tuned.” And I’ll tell you what I believe that to be the case. Firstly, Australia is in a great place as a country. The key indicators of prosperity are extremely solid. Growing population. Low unemployment. Best lifestyle in the world. As a country we are well positioned. Especially as our proximity to Asia, combined with the factors above, makes us an ideal destination to visit, migrate to or invest in - all which will continue to make us a better and more prosperous place. But let’s double click on the Central Coast and I’ll let you know why I think it’s perfectly positioned to outperform almost all other markets in Australia. Let’s unpack the key factors: Proximity to Sydney: When you combine relaxing, healthy, safe lifestyle of the Coast and place it within an hour of Australia’s biggest city it becomes a compelling proposition to both residents and investors. Sydney Prices: With almost all metropolitan family living options rising well above the million dollar mark it has become increasingly harder for young couple to enter the market and indeed for many families to even afford to remain in Sydney.
And they are starting to look for other high quality options to live or invest in - sea change and tree change options if you will. The Coast is extremely attractive to these buyers and investors and we have seen a significant increase in buyer enquirer for Coastal listings from our Sydney buyers over the past 12 months and this will escalate going forward. Quality Development: There is a new wave of world class, boutique developments appearing on the Coast that create a new lifestyle option for many people - both local and Sydneysiders. These are incredibly high calibre developments that are setting new standards of living on the Coast but are priced at half the rate of comparable projects in Sydney. So in summary, there are few better places to live or invest in on planet earth right now than the Central Coast.

saving good food from going to land fill and offering it to people in need for as little as a gold coin donation. Also coming up this weekend the 6th May is the 2018 4 Villages Walk starting at 10am from Kincumber waterfront of Carrak Street. The event is aimed at increasing awareness of the wonderful, environmental asset we have in the walkway/cycleway around Kincumber Broadwater through a ´Fun Community Walk´. As well as promoting a healthy and fun outdoor activity for people to enjoy together, while introducing the concept of a Shipbuilders´ Memorial history trail.
Community news I wanted to acknowledge the great work Kincumber Neighbourhood Centre is doing for our community with their ‘second bite’ initiative. In conjunction with Coles and Fresko Fruit Kincumber they are
