Promoting safety and harmony on shared trails is a collective responsibility. By following trail etiquette, we contribute to a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Communicate clearly with your voice or sounding device, like a bell.
Practice responsible speed management in crowded areas or when visibility is limited. Keep good eye contact.
Use only designated trails and paths for safety and security.
Follow posted signage and rules in parks and along trails.
Even behaved dogs can create unpredictable situations with trail users, wildlife, and other dogs. Be mindful.
Keep trails and streams clean by disposing of trash and pet waste. Take out what you bring in.
