Committed to outstanding results
The staff at Central Steel Build pride themselves on providing expert knowledge and exceeding expectations, both clients’ and their own.
Founded in 1978, the familyowned business has excelled in producing outstanding results for more than 40 years, with equally outstanding customer service. Managing director Gerald Edmonds said the company’s roots ran deep to support local people and products. “We’re very much Australian-made; all steel is procured from Australian steel mills and we’re all locally employed,” he said. Committed to supporting the growth of regional investment, Central Steel Build is a sustainable company. Adapting to a sustainable future is non-negotiable to Central Steel Build, and a major component of embracing sustainability is using viable building materials to increase building lifespans. By planning for a sustainable build, Central Steel Build ensures wastage is lessened, effi ciency is increased and local manufacturing and products are used. The team at Central Steel Build is made up of about 90 staff members, each equipped with their own skill-set to optimise product knowledge, making them an expert in their fi eld. “We ensure our consultants are trained in specifi c fi elds; they’re very much focused on some specifi c industry builds so they have plenty of industry knowledge to bring to the table,” Mr Edmonds said. Central Steel Build provides seven diff erent industry building types — agriculture, aviation, equestrian, industrial, commercial, recreational and custom — each with about 50 products included in their category. From haysheds, dairy buildings and feedlots, all the way to indoor dressage arenas and helicopter hangars, Central Steel Build has your back every step of the way. The company services quite a large portion of Australia, so fret not if you’re not in their immediate vicinity. “The company has got quite a large umbrella of coverage — we service up the east coast of Australia, including Queensland, NSW, even a bit of South Australia,” Mr Edmonds said. Tailoring each build to match your needs, the team’s aim is to bring your ideas to life with the precision and effi ciency of those who have been around the building block a time or two. Based on the legacy of transparency, trust and integrity, Central Steel Build works to ensure each and every client is valued and heard. They hold one main goal — identifying a client’s needs and ultimately fi nding a solution. “We have endeavoured to become specialist in certain niche markets, we’ve built up an enormous amount of industry knowledge,” Mr Edmonds said. “We’re a registered builder with 43 years of experience; our industry expertise and experience is huge and a part of who we are.”

Introducing the new Swing-Max Power Hitch with Auto Guidance - the first fully automated steering system for in-field baling and on-road travel. Now, with one operator and one tractor, you can double your small bale productivity. By splitting your tractor’s existing PTO power into two, you can now operate an additional baler for more bales in less time.
The tractor assisted Bale Baron 5250P is the all new, redesigned in-field pick up model from Marcrest. Now standard with full ISOBUS connectivity, pick-up models are well suited for larger acreages and will keep up to 2-3 balers. Have full control of your baling operation from the comfort of your cab. With the choice of 3 power options, tow behind Bale Barons can operate with any 120+ hp tractor.
The Claw is a great way to handle two packs of bales at once both safely and securely. The 16 hooks grab and clamp onto the face of Bale Baron bundles and large square bales with a tight hold, allowing precision control and placement. The backguard ensures additional safety while handling two bundles or can be removed for handling single bundles in tight spaces. The Claw works especially well for loading and unloading van trailers where clearance on the sides could be an issue.
