Introduction Alumni team works for students who complete Medha training program via Career Advancement Bootcamp(CAB) or Technological (skills) Advancement Bootcamp (TAB). We engage with the Alumni via usage of different platforms (Personal meetings, Telephonic Conversations, Social Media, Emails and WhatsApp Groups). The main purpose of interaction capture relevant information about our alumni regarding their career, achievements, and aspirations to support their career/personal goals over an extended period of time. Aim and Scope After the completion of Medha training (CAB/TAB) program, the students are required to undergo a 4week internship within 2months. This survey is aimed at students who have completed 3months since their certification. During this period, they have either completed the internship or have used their learnings in their day to day activities, giving them enough time to reflect on the things taught during Medha program. This also serves as a way to have their updated contact information and future plans (study/look for job/prepare for competitive exam) Methodology Alumni team created a form in “www.surveygizmo.com” named “Medha Alumni Status Update at 3month”. The survey was completed using five approaches: a) The link of the form was sent via email b) Bulk SMS sent to remind them about the form c) In the case the email ids were not available, the alumni team called the students and filled the questionnaire while on a call based on the respondents answers. d) Follow up was done to the Alumni who didn’t fill the form within 5 days of sending the mail. e) A reminder Bulk Sms was sent again to the Alumni who didn’t fill up the form within 7 days of the follow-up. Our Findings We sent out the survey to 238 Alumni and received 69 responses at a response rate of 29%, reflected in the table no 1 and 2 below: In table 1 we are showing form sent and received by total number of males and females individually and their response rate: Gender

APPRECIATIONS

Duration of the Training should be increased. Medha should talk to more companies and organization for internships. For many fields, there are no internship opportunities

Medha helped me in gaining confidence...believing in ourselves and it provides us various opportunities which will guide us to select the right path in our future

I would like to suggest that the students should be provided with some more videos about interviews and some CAB program

Medha is great opportunity for me, I really learned lot of things from medha, I really want to say big thanks to medha

More classes on Presentation

I heartily thank medha for improving myself 7

CHALLENGES

While collecting the information we faced following challenges: 1. We have received some incomplete forms by our Alumni. 2. During follow-ups, few contacts were found unreachable or they don’t exist. 3. Many students were not able to fill the form because they don’t have access to emails FUTURE PLAN

When we send survey forms to our Alumni via email Id, it creates a unique survey link which is used only for 1 time and it can’t be open again if it has been closed once. We received 14 incomplete forms because students open the link and in between they just close the form to fill it later. Going ahead, we will add content of the mail guiding the respondents about the survey unique link and its functionality. CONCLUSION

We have received updated 16 contact numbers and 23 email Ids which will help us in contacting them in future. We also came to know about the number of Alumni who want career counseling and in which field. In future, we are looking forward to more success in getting positive responses. According to the Medha Alumni Survey Report, our majority of students appreciate Medha for helping them directly or indirectly in any way in their lives which seem to be our biggest achievement.
