Set among the fairytale-like Dolomites of the Cortina d’Ampezzo UNESCO World Heritage Site, since 1965 the Rifugio Lagazuoi mountain hut has been run by the Pompanin family, synonymous with warm hospitality in both winter and summer. At an altitude of 2,752 m. along the Alta Via 1, it is the ideal starting point for skiing the fabulous Armentarola run, an inebriating descent down to the valley through snowy mountain peaks and captivating ice falls.
