he strong team that came together to create the facility combine expertise in spa consultancy, construction, interior and exterior design. The Inova Group Inc., an international spa development agency took The Weiland Group’s vision and provided direction on the Skin Spa and guest services. As the Chicagobased company’s clients consist mostly of five-star resorts, owner Joe Conant applied the same principles to The Weiland Group that he used for facilities of that caliber. The management team of Scott Loughridge and Joe Garcia of Las Vegas-based SR Construction built the facility at the new convenient location in Summerlin. Established in 1991, SR Construction has completed more than 350 projects with numerous awards by various local and national organizations to their name. The beautiful space planning and interior design were the creation of Shannon Glassley, formerly of Designplan Inc., and current partner in Boheme Design, both out of Indianapolis, Ind. Dekker/Perich/Sabatini Architects was responsible for the modern, inviting exterior design. With decades of experience, the firm provides comprehensive architecture services to a variety of public and private clients and has completed thousands of projects.

DR. STEPHEN W. WEILAND Dr. Stephen Wayne Weiland, one of a small group of triple board-certified surgeons in Nevada, is recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Nevada State Medical Association. Dr. Weiland earned a B.A. in physics, mathematics and German at the prestigious Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He went on to earn an M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 1982. In 1990, Dr. Weiland founded the Plastic Surgery Group of Central Illinois, Ltd., the largest plastic surgery practice in Illinois, outside of Chicago. Dr. Weiland and his family relocated to Las Vegas in 1997 to establish the WG. Equally as important as Dr. Weiland’s credentials is his commitment to each guest as a person. He has devoted his professional career to enhancing the personal care that guests receive before, during and after cosmetic surgery. Along with his surgical skills, Dr. Weiland believes that cosmetic surgery is as much an emotional issue as it is a physical one.
