BRIEF TITLE: Live Brief – Queerfest Leeds Brief: Create logo/ branding for 3 day queer event at Wharf Chambers in Leeds.
Background: QUEER WE GO PRESENTS – QUEER FEST LEEDS an entire weekend of the best things, in the best place, with the best people. It looks a little like this: FRIDAY EVENING - BANDS SATURDAY DAYTIME workshops! food! zines! games! info! stalls! crafts! haircuts! TERF/MRA snartboard! tarot! art! bouncy castles (I’m joking.. OR AM I?!!!) EVENING -BANDS AND – A SUPERHERO THEMED DISCOTHEQUE PARTY! – we got so much UK QUEER PUNX DJ sets. SUNDAY we are gonna have a film or two with a discussion topic. Hosted by the 2015 Leeds Queer Film Festival team. And then we are gonna have MORE COOL BANDS…but cuter quieter ones, cuz its Sunday. ALSO No Borders Leeds Raffle taking place between bands https://www.facebook.com/noborders.leeds this is D.I.Y and if you want to contribute anything, be it a performance, a workshop, some artwork, a zine, some cooking skills please get in touch, we would like this to be a collaborative effort between us all in the hope that we have a fun, safe, warm and friendly weekend and hang out with friends old and new. We especially need.. people that cook and people that have zines, like zines, and/or want to run a distro. Also get in touch if you want crash space/ have crash space to offer in leeds. If your organisation or band or project has leaflets or anything that can be put on an info stall come along or send us stuff.
