PRESIDENT'S MESSGAE
Hey everyone! Happy fall! So far, it’s been a great start to the year. Welcome to everyone who is a new member this year, and welcome back to the returning members. Don’t forget that the deadline for early bird dues is next Tuesday! The rest are due by October 25th. Thank you to everyone who has sent in an entry for the sticker design contest, they all look great. We have lots of fun events and volunteer opportunities coming up so look out for those. Happy keyclubling!

Meetings are bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Meet at lunch in the auditorium! The next meeting dates are Oct. 11, 25 & Nov. 8

Let us know what type of industries or careers you want to see at some future career panels! Earn 2 points for filling the form out! The link is in discord and teams!
We are less than a week away from the early bird dues deadline! If you want to catch the deal, pay at or before the meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11! If you would like to e transfer, send us a message on the Discord server or DM our Instagram (@vt keyclub). If you miss out on the early bird, they will be due on Oct. 25th.
Breakfast Club
Reminder to those who have signed up for breakfast club for Mr. Van & Ms. Bigiolli, please meet in the conference room (first room to the left from the main entrance). Arrive on your choosen date at 7:45 am! Your shift will last until 8:30 am. You will be given 1 hour and 3 points per session volunteered! Enjoy toasting bagels and the free breakfast, clubbers!
BCMEA Conference!
Here's a reminder to those who have signed up for the BCMEA conference! Please come to your chosen date, either Oct. 21st OR 22nd to the River Rock Casino Resort (8811 River Rd, Richmond, BC V6X 3P8) for your shift! If you have committed to a full shift (7 am- 4/5 pm) you'll receive a free Subway lunch! You will get 4 points per hour on the leaderboard! Enjoy the opportunity to listen in on music workshops while moving musical equipment!
Support Van Tech's music program! Listen to Van Tech's very own senior concert band and senior string orchestra at the conference! The band will be there on the morning of the 21st and strings will be on the morning of the 22nd.
UPCOMING EVENTS Stickers Design Contest!
We are giving YOU an opportunity to design some stickers that we can sell in the future! The theme is food and snacks! The top 3 submitters will receive a $15 gift card of their choice! Receive 1 volunteer hour and 5 poi submission
How to enter:
1 Design a sticker 2. Email your design to vantechkc@gmail.com as a r (e g files ending in svg or pdf) including your name and grade 3. We will confirm your entry 4. Wait for the results!

Clubs Day!
Clubs day was a success thanks to Student Council and the admin! Thanks to all the students who came by to check out our booth! We gave out free candy and stickers to everyone who came by! We appreciate all the new members who have signed up! Welcome the Key club!
KEY CLUB
PNW 1District 3/15/17 Division

DCON!

DCON is happening! DCON (district convention) will take place in Seattle, Washington from Mar. 31st to Apr. 2nd.
