Works
Baltoro Range The Baltoro Range is a delight in white. The tranquil range is all neat, clean lines, and no fuss. The pristine whites and the walnut detailing give it an ethereal look. . You’ll have a haven in which time stands still. The range covers bedroom essential products, storage bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and dressing table. It also has a TV unit and shoe cabinet for the living room and Sideboard for the dining room.
The hydraulic mechanism of the bed lifts to reveal roomy storage compartments underneath. The Chest of Drawers and bedside table have drawers that pull out smoothly, allowing easy access to your essentials. The dressing table has two drawers and three shelves house your beauty essentials. The generous mirror ensures you don’t have to twist and turn to check yourself out.
Two drawers pull out smoothly, allowing easy access to your knickknacks. Two shelves sit atop them, housing your entertainment units and display-worthy curios.
The Baltoro shoe rack is tall, white, and handsome. The glossy finish and the walnut detailing give it an ethereal look. Two doors swing open to reveal seven shelves of varying dimensions. There’s room enough to house all your footwear, from ballerina flats to boots.
Three drawers and four shelves of the sideboard make room for your prized china. The walnut-finished table top serves as an elegant serving station. You’re all set - send out that dinner party invite!
Mahe Bedroom Range
Un-curvy and proud. Inspired by the French Neoclassical movement, the Mahe series is a celebration of straight lines and rectilinear patterns. Features tapered legs that are a nod to Classical columns. At the back of the storage units, are turmeric yellow panels for an Indian twist.
Kevin Kids’s Bedroom Range Conducive to all-nighters. With clean lines, gorgeous wooden handles and bright colors, the Kevin Range is an instant energy booster that all kids will want to hang out with. With plentiful storage, an attractive finish and gorgeous, disc-like wooden handles, this collection is bound to be a favourite with kids. Say goodbye to mounds of clothes on the bed, and hello to a wonderkid. Designed in three colour variants, Red, Blue and White.
Martino Bedroom Storage A visual delight, the Martino Range has a soft, upholstered finish. Sleek drawer pulls complete its modern design. Four spacious drawers in the Chest of drawers slide open smoothly. Two drawers of the bedside table open smoothly to store bedside essentials, while the flat top has room for more. Pairs well with other upholstered bedroom furniture.
Macallan Bar Cabinet While at Urban Ladder, I was assigned a breif of designing a compact bar cabinet. The breif was to design a bar storage for people who live in compact spaces and hence cannot have a full fleged bar space, but at the same time want a dedicated bar storage that is predominantly closed and can be opened whenever required.
The compact design features multiple shelves, drawers and counters, the Macallan bar cabinet debunks the myth that you need plenty of room to host your own bar at home. A mix of versatile storage options makes room for tall bottles and tiny decanters alike, so you have all that you need to kick back with a drink in one place.
It has a flap up that becomes a mixing counter and opens up the bar. It suddenly transforms froma regular storage box to a cool bar with an amazing alcohol and glassware display. The drawer comes in handy for other bar accessories, while the bottom storage can be used for extra glasses.
Boisdale Bar Cabinet A shot for every time someone asks “Where’d you get this from?” A mirrored back panel, and sleek legs and handles make the Boisdale a conversation starter. A laddered shelf lets you spot bottles with ease. An overhead rack keeps wine glasses safe. Pull open a drawer and voila! It’s also a mixing counter.

Angelou Study Desk Is your muse not showing up? Not to worry. The clean lines and clutter-free design of the Angelou invite great ideas. Two wide drawers make room for your stationery, while a covered box keeps your wires out of sight. Sloped edges and corners protect kids from nasty boo-boos.
Carlson Storage Bench Not just window dressing. The versatile Carson upholstered storage bench is the real deal. Button tufted with subtle stitch detailing, this bench is full of character. Designed with a cabinet-stay mechanism, it ensures that the top stays open at 90 degrees, allowing you to rummage, and organise with ease. Can be used by the window for a cosy window seat, or at the foot of the bed as a blanket box, or even in the entryway.
Iwaki Swivel TV Unit Twisted in the head. Bid goodbye to strained eyes, annoying glares and awkward viewing angles. The Iwaki’s swivel feature allows the TV to be pulled out, pushed in or twisted as required. A wire management system keeps unsightly wires concealed. A mix of open and closed storage makes room for media paraphernalia. Perfect wall mounted unit for all the problems faced by a wall mounted TV.
Wollman Coffee Table Range While at Urban Ladder, I worked on a couple of coffee tables, the following images are some of them that were designed. This range catered to a glasstop storage cooffee table range, catering to various functions and price points.
With neat lines and smart features, the Wollman coffee table is inarguably unique. Choose from the full glass top or half glass top table with drawers, or the simple glass top table with open shelves - its various designs suit varied needs. High on both form and function, the table is perfect to store magazines, photo albums and boards games, letting you enjoy your coffee with conversations. A rich, smooth finish completes the piece, and makes for a contemporary addition to your living space.
A simple lift transforms the coffee table to laptop table. Great for those prone to bringing home work from the office. And for those who like to put their feet up and binge watch TV.
The range was launched in two finishes: Walnut and White Hi-gloss.
Cayman Coffee Table While at Urban Ladder, I designed a round glass top coffee table with nested ottomans.. The Cayman coffee table is the perfect excuse to catch up with friends over a board game and endless cups of coffee. Its compact frame comes with four nested ottomans that provide additional seating, without eating into space. A vibrant print rounds off its design, and ensures it works well in both contemporary and traditional set-ups.
Rhodes Entryway While at Urban Ladder, I worked on an entryway unit that can hold shoes along with other related entryway accesories.Its launched on the website along with additional details.
Magellan Shoe Storage While at Urban Ladder, I worked on a full height shoe storage unit. its assymetric design with ample storage space, made it a hot seller. Its launched on the website along with additional details.
Lincoln Range While at Urban Ladder,for my graduation project, I designed the Lincon Range. Defined by smooth angular lines and a clear, simple frame, the Lincoln TV unit is contemporary chic. Cleverly designed with a mix of open and closed storage, there’s plenty of room for your media players, sound system, books, movie collections, and more. The tall cabinets on either side are perfect for speakers, while the open back allows for better wire management. The raised base allows for easy cleaning below the unit.
The freestanding Lincoln study cabinet has the signature design ethos of the range. Smooth angular lines and a clear, simple frame has a fold-out desk discreetly tucked away. Perfect for homes which need multi-tasking furniture, this clever cabinet has plenty of storage and a comfortable work surface.
Scala Range Scale up. With its light, minimalist design, the Scala TV unit is as functional as it is aesthetic. A mix of open and closed storage makes room for your TV, DVD collection, media devices and more, without adding any bulk to your space. Pair it with bookshelves from the same range for a perfectly coordinated set-up. Open on all sides, the bookshelves also make for great display units.
Odessa Bedside Table A bedside table for the current generation. Integrated USB ports and charging points help you stay connected, always. The thoughtful lipping around the tabletop keeps phone and iPods from falling. Wires stay untangled thanks to the groove on the top. Headphones and glasses stay put when slung on the metal rod below. Drawer comes with compartments to keep things organised. Can also be wall-mounted
Cabalo Dining Chair Posture police. The Cabalo’s curved, full-bodied backrest makes sure you sit up straight while you dine. The legs, seat height and seat depth add to its ergonomics. So comfy, you can use it as a study chair as well. This leatherette variant is ideal for those with messy eaters or kids in the family. Just wipe it down to get rid of sticky jam stains and other dining disasters.
Vector Coffee Table Form and high function. Crafted from premium mango wood, the beautiful Vector storage coffee table fits in seamlessly with most decor styles. The gorgeously simple design is elevated by the groove detailing that lines the front and runs along the side. Staying true to the minimalist ethos of the Vector range, this one too, is cleverly crafted. Barrie Range Expansion The elegant Barrie chest of drawers is refined style. Perfect for spaces that are eloquent in simplicity, the clean aesthetic of this design is quietly refreshing. The storage unit can be aligned on the left or right, making it perfect for both the left-handed and the righthanded. There’s also a footrest underneath the table to take care of ergonomics and your posture. We love the thoughtful addition of the wire-management feature, that keeps unsightly cords and wires looking neat and organised.
Economy Products for FLIPKART The target audience at Flipkart is super price sensitive, so the challenge here was to develop products that can be sold at extermely low prices but have a design edge either in terms of aesthetic or functionality.
Some concepts for head board design developed that are in sink with indian design aesthetic of the Flipkart target audience and also economically viable for the target price range
Headboard storage being the most prevalent use-case in bed, was developed with an inclined backrest as TV viewing is a common activity in the bedroom
In India, most people wall mount their TV and buy a normal floor standing TV unit, which ends up taking additional floor space due to its large footprint and at the same times doesnt conceal any of the wiring that comes with the TV and its related devices. This wall mounted TV unit is designed to solve all those problems.
Using Mobile phones, tablets and other devices on the bed before sleeping have become extremely common today. Hence a power souce close by is a must have. This product is designed for this usecase, which conceals all the charger cables when not it use, giving a clutter-free look.
Study Table is usually an additional piece of furniture that a lot of people in India use, but not as frequently and hence end up not buying it, since they donot have any space left for it in the house. This wall mounted study desk is compact and solves that problem by being invisible all the time and comes in very handy when study table is in need.
The commonly available dressing tables in the market donot contain storage for a lot of items that are associated with dressing usecase, especially styling tools like hair dryers and straightening irons. This perfectly designed dressing unit, solves all those issues and also provides ample storage with a reduced footprint.
Building a modular wardrobe in India could be an expensive deal, but the readily available wardrobes have fixed layouts that do not serve the needs of all the people. Considering that different people have different requirements , when it come sto wardrobe storage, thhis product is designed to achieve the desired combination that a customer expects from a modular wardrobe
This study table is perfect for the home-office, which is functional and looks chic at the same time. It has space for all the essentials inclusing stationary, important doscuments, books and journals. It a special hook to hang your bag, a magnetic whiteboard to write or put up notes.
Simple Furniture Design The brief was to design a tablet-cum-seating for children aged 5-7 yrs. I designed this furniture so that it can be used both as a tablet chair as well as a normal chair. The mechanism of the tablet becoming the backrest its a very easy push button mechanism that can be handled by the child independetly.
Overall Dimensions
Folding Furniture The brief was to design a folding furniture for the balconies where there is a need as the space is utilized for a lot of 1 other activities. A furniture piece that is foldable will account for less utilization of space. The piece is a simple single action self locking mechanism. While in the folded position it can be locked so that while moving the piece around in the folded position it wont open, leading to a safer action. Ambient lighting As a part of a week long course on exploring plastic as a material, I designed and developed this ambient lighting concept using polycarbonate sheet. While exploring the material I realized that due to the presence of moisture in the air and also some level of imurity in the material, on heating it started producing bubbles. Hence I used this natural occuring to create this lighting.
Pendant lighting The lighting is designed as a part of a form exploratory course where we had to come up with product ideation for a form that is obtained by manipulation of a geometric parent form. I chose cube a my parent form and did various explorations with paper. I did 2-D surface treatement by technique of repeatation.
