MOTI
MUSEUM OF THE IMAGE
BREDA
NETHERLANDS
emphasise on “one large image” rather than a ‘collage’ of images on one board in this case the ‘collage’ effect is on the large wall itself
each room has some form of installation that gives character to the ‘theme’ or ‘area of study’ that the room is exhibiting
IDEA
even though the photographs are taken in the morning, bright light truly brings out the items being displayed room gives a sense of ‘what does our desk look like?’
what if each section in the end of year exhibition could display a ‘steriotipic’ desk or workspace? For instance, a graphic designers’ desk would have a high end computer, tablet, coffee/ energy drink, magazines, maybe even some toys/ ornaments?
emphasis on white walls, the ‘design’ is being exhibited and not the building - however, might not go down well with the current re-painting project that the school has just undergone

AIGA NATIONAL DESIGN CENTRE
creating ‘walls’ to direct exhibition visitors throughout the space, without enclosing the space everyone can exhibit their work withouth cluttering the exhibitied space
IDEA use innovative means of presenting our designs on something other than the standard (boring) display boards - what if i can print my designs on book covers, tshirs, etc?
particular focus on print - what if we could place our work on something other than ‘a desk’ exhibit deisgn and photos on different medium (eg books)
dividing the room in half using see-through stands that leave the room feeling large, withouth having to resort to placing desks in the middle of the space
interesting take on display desks may also add a dynamic element to the room which could attract visitors to truly look at the work one presents
9+1
being political
heavy focus on a particular colour in the room, creates a striking effect in the room adding ‘barriers’ add an element of exclusivity
IDEA this concept could be used to distribute the ‘event map’ in different locations throughout the end of year exhibition
interact with the audience, make people want to touch some items! makes the event more personal
SMALL SCALE BIG CHANGE
sterile environment that gives the exhibition space a fresh, professional and high-end look
