The 66th Annual Gentlemen’s Member-Guest Golf Invitational will be held on June 15, 16, and 17. All Full Season Golf Members are encouraged to partake in this signature event. Details of the Invitational weekend are outlined in this program, and we are pleased to announce the following highlights:
• Entry submissions begin Friday, March 10 at 12:00pm. Register via the link in the registration email or log in to the BCC website, go to June 15 on the Golf Calendar, then click on the event. This will open a registration form for you to fill out. Once you have completed the form, you are entered for consideration. The registration deadline is Friday, March 31 at 5:00pm. Online registration is the only form of registration. Phoned or mailed entries will NOT be accepted
• Entries without profile pictures of you and your guest will NOT be accepted. Please have photos ready at time of submission. All guests must have an established handicap by the deadline due date, otherwise your registration will be placed on the waitlist
• The event includes five competitive matches over a three-day period. 18 holes each day on Thursday and Friday, with the final match played Saturday morning. The playoff format is a 3-hole (3, 8, and 9 on the East Course), select-drive, alternateshot, aggregate score (with handicaps); and will be played immediately following the Saturday morning match. We encourage everyone to stay and watch this exciting conclusion to the championship
This year’s entry fee is $1,595 per team.
Please note, registration does not guarantee entry. The Invitational Committee will notify members of their entry status by Friday, April 7.
The Baltimore Country Club Gentlemen’s Golf Invitational is a very popular sell-out event with participants coming from across the country. If the tournament is oversubscribed, the Committee will use certain criteria to determine the field, including but not limited to 2022 waitlist players, past participation in the Invitational and other Club golf events, and service to the Club. The Committee has always weighed service to the Club a qualifying criteria for application. This year, in addition to Club records, there is room on the registration form for details of such service to be noted in your own words. This allows for expanded perspective and due consideration which might not otherwise be apparent to the Committee.
Please contact the Invitational Committee or Director of Golf Greg Jones with any questions. We look forward to another outstanding tournament.
Sincerely,
Your Invitational Committee: Ted Bowes, Mason Champion, Tom Halleron, John Martindale, Jason Sevier, Richie Taylor
Each flight will consist of six (6) teams combined by team handicap at 90%. Each team will play a 9-hole match against all other teams in their flight.

• Win a hole, receive one (1) point

• Halve a hole, receive half (1/2) a point and opponent receives half (1/2) a point
• Winning team of each match, receives a 1/2 point

The twenty flight winners will compete in a 3-hole (3, 8 and 9 on the East Course), select drive-alternate shot, aggregate score with handicaps to determine the Overall Champions.
Teams with a combined age of 110-134 years compete in the Senior Division, and teams with a combined age of 135+ years compete in the Super Senior Division. The winner is the team with the highest points total. In case of a tie, teams will compete in a one hole playoff, true alternate shot format on East #9 to determine the champions.
Golfers will play to their USGA handicap index as of June 1, 2023. Any guest with an index at multiple clubs shall use their lowest index as outlined by the USGA. The BCC Flight and Winged Foot Flight may play at scratch. The Committee will base its decision on the handicap differential of the teams within these flights. The Committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps to ensure prudent competition throughout.
