J1 BuDDieS NEEdEd
BCC is getting ready for a new group of international interns, and we want to give them the warmest welcome possible. Part of that is ensuring they have ‘buddies’ they can rely on and look forward to seeing at work while adjusting to Maryland and the Club. This would be low commitment with a high reward. You will meet with your J1 buddy roughly every week and exchange contact info if they have any questions. The program lasts sixweeks or until your buddy feels adjusted and comfortable. Typically, people will meet at work, maybe over lunch in the breakroom, and some people like to meet outside of work and show them their favorite spots around town. It is entirely up to everyone’s comfort level.
Please reach out to Madison at melena@bcc1898.com for more info!

Big or Small, Let’s Celebrate it All!
At Park & Farms, we believe every achievement—big or small—deserves recognition. Whether you’ve earned a new certification, bought your first home, gotten married, or received a promotion, we want to celebrate these milestones with you! So don’t be shy—let us know what’s new in your world, and let’s cheer each other on! Email yours or other’s accomplishments to Madison at melena@bcc1898.com.
INTRODUCING THE DROPBOX
To increase accessibility, there will be boxes to submit kudos for your teammates in the breakroom! These can be small pick-me-ups that make a huge difference in someone’s day. It could be about how they stayed late to help close, always opening the door for others, or the general kindness they bring to the work environment.
There will also be a box for accomplishments, like buying a new car, graduating, making the dean’s list, having a baby on the way, or getting engaged; anything you are excited about or marks a milestone for you. Some people may be shy about submitting for themselves, so make sure to submit for others as well; we want them to feel celebrated!
