GREENFOLDER STORIES
What sets Baltimore Country Club apart from other country clubs? Our people! Our staff members take every step to go above and beyond to accomplish our Simple Truth: Great People Make Favorite Places. Often, there are easy ways to make a positive impression on our members from saying happy birthday to congratulations on an award. However, not being afraid to make the big gestures is what distinguishes us. We love sharing these stories of the Simple Truth! Submit your Simple Truth experience by filling out the Green Folder Stories form, located at the bottom of the Park & Farms email, in Park & Farms, the staff webpage, or scan the QR codes in the staff breakrooms. BCC encourages all members to submit their own or fellow staff members’ Green Folder Stories.

SUMMER ALL STAR AWARD Tim Yalinklincer, Bag Room Attendant Tim started working at BCC in the summer of 2019. Over the past five seasons, Tim has shown major growth, both personally and professionally. He is a full-time student at Towson University and is finishing his final year attaining a BA in International Relations. Tim is a leader amongst his peers and someone we can all count on. He helps the golf operation in many ways, from cleaning clubs, keeping the cart fleet in tip-top shape, and taking care of all member requests. Tim’s approach to hospitality is sincere, and it shows when he engages with our members and their guests. You can count on a friendly “hello” or a warm “farewell” each time you pass by the bag room while Tim is on duty.
SEPTEMBER STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH Bob Cordell, Welcome House Attendant Bob has been a great asset to the BCC team ever since joining. Bob greets everyone with a smile, positive attitude, along with a welcoming personality. He does not shy away from engaging with members and guests, even if it’s only for a short period of time. He is a well knowledge individual in his role and continuously excels in when opportunities arise.

OUR MISSION
To extend charitable aid to staff members of Baltimore Country Club and their families in case of emergency or financial crisis, including, without limitation, injury, illness, abuse, natural disaster, hardship, or disability.
WHAT WE DO
The Helping Hand Foundation was created in 2010 and has helped our fellow Staff Members with over $55,000 in assistance. We extend charitable aid to staff members of Baltimore Country Club and their families in cases of emergency or financial crisis. CONTRIBUTE VIA PAYROLL
The organization is funded through voluntary staff member contributions that are tax deductible through our 501c3 status. Contributions can be as low as $1 per pay period and can be adjusted at any time. This is a great way to help your coworkers that may find themselves in need of assistance. If you would like to contribute, or are in need of assistance, please email helpinghand@bcc1898.com or contact any Helping Hands committee member.
The holidays can be a challenging time for many families. We are all feeling the effects of inflation and rising gas prices. BCC’s Helping Hands Foundation is here to offer a helping hand to staff members who need assistance bringing the joy of Christmas to their children this year. Please have your child/children fill out a Christmas Wish List located in the Five Farms and Roland Park staff breakrooms. Return the completed wishlist to Juanita Bayer or Suzy Jewett. All submissions will be confidential. If you need help, please ask. If you can help, please give.

I loved that it was formal. It has been too long since people have glammed up! The service was great. I enjoyed the meal and the band was fabulous. Also being in our beautiful and historic clubhouse is the perfect setting for such a wonderful celebration.
Food and service was great! The oysters and lamb appetizer were particularly good.
The band was so fun and the staff always shows up in such an amazing way!
The organization was very good and kept everything flowing along. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. 10
Wonderful event to commemorate the anniversary of the Club. I felt the staff went above and beyond—especially Jared!—to ensure our needs for the evening were met.
Staff were very welcoming. Festive and fun to attend a black tie event. Band was very good.
Beautiful and classic ambiance of the Roland Park clubhouse. It is a very unique and special part of the BCC legacy and experience unmatched by other area clubs and should continue to be preserved, enhanced, enjoyed and celebrated without reservation.
The ambiance & formal feel of the evening. I liked the champagne upon arrival. As usual, the staff was outstanding. The band was awesome.

STAFF ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR Hello, my name is Madison Elena, the new Staff Engagement Coordinator at Baltimore Country Club. In the spring of 2023, I graduated from Central Washington University with my bachelor’s, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Project Management. I am currently working toward my master’s in industrial organizational psychology, as I would like nothing more than to know that my coworkers are able to pursue their passions within the working environment. From a young age, I have had a dedication to literature, culinary arts, crafting, and the outdoors. Washington state is beautiful, but often grey, so now I feel grateful to be soaking up all the sun that Maryland has to offer! I am excited to further my Madison Elena Staff Engagement Coordinator
relationships here, as I have experienced such a warm welcome, by both members and staff.
