Blyth Workcats deliver dive boat to Ireland Blyth Workcats has delivered a new 11m dive boat to the Mevagh Dive Centre in Ireland. An important feature of the new boat is a hydraulic lift which is mounted on the transom, which was a requirement due to many divers diving to significant depths. Fendercare Marine praised by NATO Seawork exhibitor, Fendercare Marine, has been praised for fendering support to a flotilla of NATO warships during the NATO Summit in the Port of Cardiff, using 16 Yokagoma pneumatic fenders. Seawork delivers another winning formula Seawork 2014 saw a myriad of successes. Dometic-UK was selected by fellow exhibitor, Safehaven Leisure, at the event, to supply air
conditioning including a unit for the Polish Navy. Kort Propulsion signed an order for supplying to 28 tugs for the Egyptian Army.

Tidal Transit’s Seawork success
Versadock launches Dock Boxes
Tidal Transit took possession of its £20m crew transfer vessel during Seawork. Mercurio Shipyard handed over the ‘Kitty Petra’ to Leo Hambro, MD at Tidal Transit. The boat will be used at the RWE Innogy's flagship Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm, which is currently the largest in construction anywhere in Europe. Seawork 2014 was host to a number of overseas maritime delegations, who were visiting the event to develop overseas relations and explore procurement options. Four admirals from the Italian Navy, led by Vice Admiral Steffano Tortora, attended the event, as did several pan-European delegations. A delegation from Cameroon was also in attendance at Seawork. Following on from introductions at Seawork 2014 the Italian delegation invited two UK companies and one Norwegian company to present to them in Italy to tender for active project requirements.

South Boats IOW launches new WFSV design for Seacat Services Long term Seawork International exhibitor, South Boats IOW, has launched a new WFSV design being the first-inclass South Cat 26m for fellow Seawork exhibitor, Seacat Services. Significant interest for Cygnus As always, the Seawork International 2014 event went very well for Cygnus, with significant interest in the new Cygnus DIVE underwater thickness gauge, from visitors including Blue Peninsula Marine and Thomson Test. The gauge was also demonstrated in the Seawork Dive Tank. Cygnus Instruments is looking forward to another successful year at the event in 2015 where it will
promote its ever-developed range including its new reporting software, CygLink.
