International Jack Up Barge Association attends following success of exhibit in 2014 Seawork is witnessing a surge of trade associations attending the event, coming from the breadth of the European maritime sector. These associations look to support their members in a number of ways, whether for assurance regarding service provision, for evidence of working competence or to provide regulatory support to the industry. All of this is combined with an aspiration to raise the standards, both at legislative and at an operational level, ensuring members help to influence a safer and improved industry. One such association attending Seawork 2015 is the International Jack Up Barge Owners Association (IJUBOA) who are attending the event for the first time, following the success of a jack up barge exhibited at Seawork 2014, which was received to high acclaim. The association promotes the safe, cost effective and environmental use of jack-up barges in response to a wide range of challenges. Based in the UK, the
IJUBOA team will be providing advice and support, including details of
its training courses and certification to members and visitors alike at Stand A274.
