Your partnership is more than a subscription—it's a pledge to drive meaningful change, empower communities worldwide, and foster a world rich in hope and opportunity. We appreciate you joining us on this transformative journey.
goodness
“Yet I am confident I will see the LORD's goodness while I am here in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13
Goodness means actively doing good and is listed as is the sixth Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23.
God is good. He does good things.
Goodness is embodied when we work on behalf of others, instead of ourselves. “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith,” Galatians 6:10 says.
Desmond Tutu writes, “Do your little bit of good where you are: it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
Summer is the perfect opportunity to slow down and celebrate the goodness of God. We are more apt to see goodness when we are looking for it.
Here are three questions we can answer each day and see the goodness of God:
1. What did God do today that was good?
2. Whom did I see His goodness in today?
3. How can I see God’s goodness in my circumstances?
This month’s colorful and fun Ethical Living Box is the perfect way to celebrate the people we love and God’s goodness in small and simple ways.

asha project
Asha Project was founded to empower women in India and break the cycle of poverty in their communities. This initiative addresses issues like lack of clean water, human trafficking, child marriage, and forced labor, aiming to restore hope and drive change.
rinku
Coming from a poor family and having lost her husband, Rinku was struggling to make ends meet by doing hard labor. Society had told her that she was not capable and that she had no other options. However, through the Asha Project, Rinku found confidence in herself and pride in her work.
Through programs like their sewing initiative, Asha Project provides training and employment for women, enabling them to earn a sustainable income. For example, the banners for MHG Clubs involved fifteen women from two villages, contributing 2,550 hours of dignified work. This effort supports these women economically and nurtures community growth and empowerment.
By promoting fair trade principles and offering handmade products, Asha Project fosters a brighter future for women in India. Through ongoing support and collaboration, they uplift families and create pathways to prosperity and hope.
Members of MHG Clubs can receive a 10% discount using code #MHGClubs when shopping at ashaprojectindia.com.
Now, Rinku is able to provide for her family with dignity and hope for a better future. She has become an inspiration to those around her who once doubted her abilities. Through the Asha Project, Rinku has gained access to new opportunities that have allowed her to break free from the cycle of poverty and create positive change in her community. Hope changes everything, and this is what the Asha Project stands for—empowering women in India to help support their families and bring hope back to their communities.

Forged in Hope, a Mercy House Global artisan group from Nairobi, Kenya, is comprised of two artisan groups. The groups handcraft jewelry and home decor from brass, wood, and horn. The artisans who made your Brass Photo + Card Holders were first led by Stephen, who created jewelry from upcycled brass in Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. After Stephen’s passing, his wife Maureen continued his legacy, expanding production and investing in businesses in Kibera, fostering local economic growth. Wycliffe, who worked closely with Stephen, assumed a leadership role, overseeing artisans and facilitating business growth.
This order for MHG Clubs provided 160 hours of work for the artisans of Forged in Hope. They used the wages to pay for rent and for fees for their children.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY ETHICAL?

Ethically traded products are crafted by artisans who work in safe conditions, receive a fair wage, and maintain reasonable working hours. No child sacrificed their education to create your new favorite item, and no parent toiled in a sweatshop for 80 hours a week. We ensure that all of our MHG Clubs items are ethically sourced.
HOW ARE MHG CLUBS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER SUBSCRIPTION CLUBS?
MHG Clubs are operated by Mercy House Global, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. All proceeds from MHG Clubs empower vulnerable families in Jesus’ name with opportunities that provide hope.
MHG CLUBS PARTNER WITH FAITH-BASED ARTISAN GROUPS ACROSS THE GLOBE. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
While we are a faith-based ministry and collaborate with other faith-based ministries, religion is not imposed on artisans, nor is it a prerequisite for employment. Many women and their families practice different religions than we do, and that is okay. Our belief in Christ compels us to love, serve, and assist others, irrespective of their personal belief systems.
