Although many students know their intended major, it’s fine if you don’t know what you want to study yet. The next four years are meant to be an exciting time of discovery. (It’s kind of the point of college.)

At Meredith, we embrace the real world. One in which students can arrive at college not knowing what they want to study and those who do can change their minds. (In fact, research shows more than one in three students change majors at least once.) We have expert staff and faculty who will help you figure out your plan for the future – including your major – and still graduate on time.

DESIGN YOUR OWN MAJOR ACCELERATED OPTIONS

In addition to the 90+ academic programs offered at Meredith, you can design your own major. Combine course work in several disciplines or pursue a specific topic in depth. Recent examples include Chinese studies, media writing, and art history.

Internships are no longer considered optional by most employers. That’s why internships are an essential part of the Meredith experience. Most students complete at least one and many do more, with placements starting as early as summer after freshman year.

Your plan may include a number of options, from academic merit-based scholarships to need-based awards, to low-interest student loans. $30 million in scholarships and grants are funded by Meredith College.

Over $57 million is coordinated in financial assistance annually.
